SMART SHOPPERS
I was trying to get my daughters insurance situated and somehow I was referred to this number for "help" (I'm assuming they gave me the wrong number) Right when they answered I told them my situation and they completely took advantage of my needing help. He told me I had to sign up for this "free gift card" of $100 to help me buy my medications for my daughter. He also stated I had to sign up so he can further help me. I told him numerous times I don't need the card and don't want it, I just need someone to answer my questions. This very rude man kept insisting that I needed to sign up just to have him answer my questions. He kept telling me it would only be 4.95 that'd I have to pay for shipping costs. I told him if it was free then I'm not paying shipping anyway and that I don't want this card & he began yelling at me. I was so taken back and shocked. He started mocking me, almost like a child would. I got very upset and asked for his name & he refused to give it to me. Stating he already told me earlier and he will not tell me again. I kept asking and this went on for about 4 minutes, he refused. He then told me to hang up. I told him no that I'll stay on the line until I either talk to a manager or get his name. He told me "fine do what you want" then continues to yell at me to hang up. He finally hung up so I called back, a man answers and I tell him I need to speak to a manager, the phone goes mute and the same man comes back claiming to be "Austin" (totally a lie). I ask him what company is this and what's the address. He then tells me "Why should I tell you?". I'm like "because your a company asking me for my card info so I should be able to know" he then, after 8 minutes of me asking tells me their company name is "smart shoppers" & their located in Phoenix, AZ. I ask him who is his manager & he begins mocking me just as the first man did. They were legit mocking me, I haven't came across that since elementary school so you can imagine my surprise. They're attitudes were terrible. The worse I've ever came across (I used to work in retail so I definitely know bad customer service when I see it). You'd think whoever made this "company" or hired these people would hire someone with a least a little bit of skills. These men were so rude, immature, and completely unprofessional. I knew it was a total scam. The worse part is there's literally no one you can talk to that can actually help you. Don't do it. If a company doesn't even wanna tell you their name how do they expect people to give out their personal card information.
