Poor customer service

They are probably charging you sales tax because more than likely, your order will be shipped from a vendor that is located near you in your state.

KDL52XBR9

The KDL52XBR9 is the SONYs Top of the Line LCD TV.
Less then 6 months out of 1 year warranty. Horzontal lines & partial blacking out of half the sceen. Sony made me have it looked at by a pro at my own expense and confirmed the LCD panel is bad. By all the articals Ive read about this model and other similar sized sony TVs they know its the panel without having me pay one of their certified repairmen look at it.
Sony response: They are hiding behind their warranty of one year. This top of the line TV costs about $3500 new. I would think it should last at least 3-5 years without breaking a sweat, but all the articals Ive read their TVs last less then 1 1/2 years.
We need to start a class action law suit against Sony, thats the only way this company will take these defects seriously.

Horrible customer service

i bought a 55inch sony 3d tv on dec 16, 2011.the picture went on it yesterday.less than 3 months.2200 was the cost.called sony today to be told someone will get back to me within 5 business days, not to fix it but to make an appointment to look at it.what a joke.wanted to return tv for refund was basically told to get lost.all done with sony

Sony 3D TV

I bought a brand new 3D TV from a local Sony distributor. The TV was fine for 6 months, then failed. We called Sony and were told it was a major problem, and they would ship a new TV to us. The replacement TV was not the same as the one we bought because they admitted they don't have parts for it. The replacement was to have a 24 month new warranty... We would give them the broken one, they would deliver the replacement... Took 3 weeks to get it to a local delivery company... Upon checking the replacement TV, we found the screen broken. We never took delivery of the replacement TV, and gave the shipper the original TV. Two days later, the shipper called and said hey what do I do with the TVs... I then called Sony, with the "special number", spoke to cj first three days ago, told her what happened. No one from the shipper had obviously told her anything...

She claims she will check with the shipper and call me back... three days pass, and I call the secret number, give them my passcode, and get connected with Anthony, who asks where the TVs are located.... I told him that we never accepted the replacement, and that we gave the shipper the original TV. I ask Anthony for my money back, he says they don't do that, I said I haven't had a TV now in 2 months... So if you aren't going to give me my money back, get be a replacement now.... Oh no, he says, it takes 2 to 3 weeks for a normal shipment... but first they have to check to see if I'm lieing about the original TV and the replacement TV.... I told him, if you can't get me my money back, call up a local distributor and get them to give me a TV... Again, he can't and explains that he has all these "serviced" TVs that are in their service inventory, that he must ship, and that Sales is different..... It's clear all the crap that doesn't work, they recycle to us, so based on his comments, it's clear they must have ALOT of CRAP that doesn't work.

Needless to say this is ridiculous... 239 768 7646 e54440555 Anthony c25e and CJ Basically, Anthony said tough luck, read the Warranty.
