Stratolounger Unrepairable

I bought a stratolounger recliner about a year ago. A small 4 3/4 inch spring broke off about 2 months ago and the recliner remains open. I was able to order the spring online but have no idea where it should go. I have spend hours trying to find there website with no success or even a picture of the mechanism with no success. I'm able to find lane or lazy boy but not stratolounger. This has been a nightmare. Seems the company doesn't want to be found or want to back their product. Would never buy another stratolounger recliner again.
