I am one of the unlucky ones who applied cambodian maid last few months. Now that caombodia gov is freezing the maid supply, my application is hanging there and so is my deposit money (RM4.5K). Am extremely frustrated and tired of waiting after patiently waited for 4+ months. Called the agency, as usual asked me to wait AGAIN! Then i asked for refund, I was asked to WAIT AGAIN! The worst thing was the agency's manager talked louder and harsher than me! Was treated like a beggar when i asked for refund. This is so ridiculous, they are the one who is owing me but still they talked louder than me! what a service, the person who's servicing me no longer reply my phone or sms. i had to call the manager. now I'm in the 'unwelcome/unwanted' customer list! Now I have to find time to personally go to immigration department to find out how to settle this "SHIT".
I truly believe my decision to apply a maid is totally wrong. I applied maid coz i dont have time and i needed help. Eventually, i didn't get the help but invited more problem to my life.
Anyone out there who is kind enough to share similar experience or some guidelines how to handle this situation? thanks...

To me Agensi Haz in Subang Jaya is also the same. So far Jaya Baru and Overseas are good for me.

Finally I took back rm4K out of rm4.5K.
My advice to all is NEVER NEVER EVER trust your agency! All they want is your MONEY! Always request for proves and explanations.
After the harsh conversation from the manager, i decided to go to Jabatan Imigresen myself. They issued me the cancellation letter in a breeze which was contrary to what the manager had said to me. Then managed to get the manager face to face to deal with this without telling what i had in hand. The manager agreed to refund but still need us to wait til the maid comes. Which i stil need to pay for the maid's processing fee for her to be physically arrives in malaysia. This would cost me rm2K. Then i told her i had cancelled the application, the manager was abit shock but then came up with a final cut on the deal which insisted me to pay for RM500 for the local processing fee.
Beware of this agency 'Agensi Pekerjaan Innovedge Sdn Bbd' in Puchong and Neo Damansara. The manager's name is Christie, always in thick make-up and body-exposing clothes. If we had the discussion at night, i would have thought she's working in night club ready to lure some old man out there.
Well, enough said here. So be careful if you love your MONEY!
As for me, I stick with part-time maid for the house chore, for now...

This comment is directed to Madam Su (who is against AP Sri Mawar) and Richard Teo (who recommends it) - can I know what your views are? Madam Su, what was the problem, if you don't mind me asking? Did you have problems with maid placement and refund of moneys? Richard, are you still using maids from this agency? Are the both of you using Indonesians or Filipinos or maids of other nationalities? I have been recommended this agency by a friend, and I have actually just spoken to someone from the agency and I will be going to their office this weekend to look at biodatas (Filipinos). I have never employed a maid before (except for 6 months after I had my first chil), but I don't have much choice now as I am expecting my second child and this pregnancy has been quite tough on me (age is catching up) and I don't have any help. Your feedback is appreciated!

I have been using Sri Mawar since 2009 before I delivered by girl. They were helpful and always there to help me to resolve dispute with my maid n provide counselling. When my maid gave me big headache end of last year, they advised me to send the maid off and assisted me in sorting all paperworks, etc. In feb, I decided to take a Pinoy maid from them. Confirmed bio data and had interview a few times via skype in end Feb and they told maid will be here in 2 mths time. 2 days ago, they just informed me the maid has arrived pending medical check up and issuance of permit. It is faster than they estimated time of 2months. So I must say I m satisfy with their services. Can't blame them if the maid is lousy as they can't be testing all maids out before putting their biodata for us to choose. I only expect them to provide good service and help me in handling the maid issue along the way, of which they did it very well. Never siding the maid or short changing me. They r just be fair which is what I like.

To have spent the money is another matter. But, with that kind of attitude and service, how far can they go? I really don't know.
But for sure, I will never recommend this agency to any of my friends.
Their website is impressive, with beautiful graphics, colours and wonderful English, in actual fact? You won't be impressed, trust me.
There should be a channel for consumers like me to share our experiences, etc... For holidays, we have travellers' reviews to help us compare and hence, make a better choice in choosing our accommodation, restaurants, etc. I hope my experience helps you better in scouting for a good, responsible and reliable agency.

Hi,
After calling a few maid agencies, Innovedge was the only one who could provide my Muslim Phillipines maids. Indonesian and Cambodian are banned. I am one of the people facing problems with Innovedge Maids Agency. I am constantly being told something when in reality it is something else. I was told that my maid would arrive LATEST by June 2012 but now it's already July. When I called to ask, I received very rude treatment from their customer service officer, Stella Giam. The way she spoke to me was as if I was the one who had done something wrong, when all I wanted was clarification on some issues.
Attempts to get in touch with her manager, Christy Cheong, failed too since she now refuses to take my calls. In fact when I called Stella, I could hear Christy speaking (almost shouting) in the background in an annoyed manner telling Stella to tell me that my maid will come in ANOTHER month... this after she herself told me that my maid would arrive in Malaysia latest by the end of June.
These people have already taken a deposit of RM4000 from me, I would expect that it is within my right to ask a few questions. What kind of service are they providing, if my enquiries, as a customer, are ignored? I was DESPERATE when I decided to use their services. I have had maids since 1995 and never have I encountered such bad customer service or such RUDE and CRASS CSOs. They certainly have a nice website and a glitzy office but I will NEVER EVER recommend any of my friends to use their service now... or anyone for that matter, unless dealing with rude and unprofessional people is acceptable to you.

I'm facing the same treatment as well, the website is very impressive so far is the only company which can provide you with youtube interview. But as a customer by paying extra compare to market price don't think we reserve the services we are getting. The customer service is POOR RUDE and they HANG UP my phone when i try to follow up with them .
The agency customer services is very poor , especially the manager Christy they are giving you the wrong advice, and not able to commit to the promises has been given. So be careful you may end up paying more and more for the word they have been given.
I would say this agency is not a reliable and irresponsible agent, they only have a good marketing strategy. In term of experience bring in maid and handling customer is so poor .
Try to avoid this agency.

hi datin sofia, me too! the innovedge agent may now never pick up my phone call.she also promised my maid will come on early july but until now no answer from her.can we do complaint n police report? since their company is registered under immigration. i also has paid rm 4k for deposit n would like to get my refund

i had applied for Philippines maid to look over my mother in law and after working for us for a week the maid want to go home and insists us to send her back if not will go to the Philippines immigration to complaints on us for not sending her home.To make matter short we called our maid agent and she was taken back to the agency.And now the agency request us to pay more rm2k for replacement new maid and the new maid should get her salary after working for the 1st month and the advance salary that the previous maid took will not be refund back to us.
Anyone out there who is kind enough to share some guidelines how to handle this situation? thanks...

Hi I am so overwhelmed to have found this page and all the complaints are about Agensi innovedge. As earlier I thought that I am the only one encountering problem with this Agensi innovedge. To those of you who saw this page, I hope that you will not be another victim of this agent. When my Philippine maid just came one year 4 months ago, I found out that my maid had not undergone any proper training as she doesn't know how to do house chores very well and my maid did not even have a basic manners such as greeting people in the morning and she just ignored me and my husband as if we were transparent in the morning. Then I start questioning innovedge whether is this their way to earn money and did not filter or train their maid? Stella giam replied me rudely. My maid had same if you don't like me you could send me back total 4 times in this one year and 4 months time despite we are treating her so good and always bring her oversea etc Japan,hk,sg to sleep with my toddler. I started thinking this is what the agency taught her to do so. I got so mad that my maid is talking back at me, I called Stella giam and she was very rude and said its none of their business that my maid is rude and its my family matter. I was like WHAT? I paid so much for the agency fees. Most agency will come to the house and at least talk to their maid and teach them to respect employers and not talk back. Since they rude encounter from Stella giam, I called the manager christy hoping for a better service but ends up she talks even ruder and hang up my call and never pick up my call after that. Please avoid this company as they are con man. They just want one time off money and then they clean their hands and would not even solve your problem after you paid all the agency fees

Maid Run Away
This complain is for Innovedge. I took a maid from them from Philipino. the process of getting a maid was slow as the actual arrival overshot the committed times by over 2 months. The maid was ok for 6 months but certainly vanished one day with no note no clue on where she went. The agency's response was very weird that I am one of the unfortunate ones with a run away maid. I fail to understand how come the agency shy away from their responsibility of not screening the maids properly. They know the whereabouts and address of the maid back home through their partner agency. Won't they collectively pick up some responsibility for the run away maid? The replacement temp maid that I got from Innovedge was not good buy was relaying stories that it is the agency that recyles the maid such that they can collect money from the familes who are desperate to get domestic help. She told us that she left her employer about 1.5 yrs ago and wanted to go back home but Innovedge kept recycling her as temp maid from one employer to another and didn't keep up to their promise of sending her back. I don't know what to believe but there is certainly something to think hard here.... how come you are asked to pay 12K to get a maid and on top of that 1.2K pm as salary. If the maid runs away you might have to fork out another 1.8K to 2.4K pm for the temp maid and have to pay another 12K to get your permanent replacement maid.
The avg pay for a local graduate is in the range of 1.3 to 1.5K pm.....it is a big scam and everybody knows about it and does nothing. The police is sleeping and so is the immigration.

Malaysia hv the worst hire of foreign maids, they turn out to be old, rickety, rude n talk back at U n cant follow instructions.
It boils down to our Minister of HR who hv been negotiating for an ever-increasing agency fees of 2 yrs when the maid takes flight w/in 1 yr.
Jus as the agencies r ripping us off, the gov is jus folding their arms n all kinds of nonsense is allowed till hiring an Indon the agent told me to bring her 10k in cash n balance 5k in cheque!

PMA - law breaking & cheating agen
Dear all,
This is for public awareness so others do not fall victim to unscrupulous maid agencies & the challenges involving non-compliance of court awards.
Agensi Pekerjaan PMA (Penang HQ with branches in Alor Setar, Puchong & Cheras) has committed criminal offense of not abiding in MORE THAN ONE award handed down by the Tribunal Court.
I had my court hearing with PMA on 4th September 2014. Thanks to social media, I came to know of a lady in the same dilemma as me. In both hearings, the judge has awarded us monetary refund due to misrepresentation & incompetent maids who ran away just weeks into their employment.
PMA has not only defied the 14 days deadline to pay the award but has ignored appointments fixed by the Ministry of Trade & Consumerism enforcement officers to investigate their non-compliance. This has been dragging on in the past 6 months.
We are at our wits end. To date, we have served PMA through our lawyer the Notice 218 which gives them a 21 days deadline. They blatantly ignored this too!!
I just want JUSTICE!!! Any advise or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

INNOVEDGE maid agency shared exactly same info with AP PMA on their websites!
AP INNOVEDGE & AP PMA shared exactly the same info contents on each of their website. Why??
Since AP PMA has commited criminal offenses in non-compliance of more than one tribunal court awards, it's just for sharing here so employers will be careful in choosing trustworthy & law abiding maid agencies.
