Misrepresentation

I DO NOT recommend TAKL. We tried to use for the first time and it was a mess. At first it seemed great as handman responded very quickly. In fact a lot of handymen responded. I picked the one with the most reviews and best reviews...

On the day he was supposed to come clean our gutters he text to say he had truck problems and would be there in the afternoon. Then in the afternoon he still had truck problems and could not come until the next day. When he did show up he said he could not do the job it was out of his scope and he did not bag the leaves - he just pushed them on the lawn.

The reason I am so frustrated is that I had communicated direct via text about the gutters being cleaned were around the pool cage and he would have to get on the roof. The guidelines from TAKL say we provide the ladder and bags for worker. David said via text that that was no problem and he would take care of us. We had even attached pictures to the job request! But when he finally did show up he refused to do the job.

The original job was $100 and now he is trying to get us to accept what he calls a 4XL job for $259. We won't use TAKL again. I would suggest thinking twice about contacting them. It's hard to communicate with the "home base" of TAKL to make sure you are getting what you asked....
