Deceptive Advertising
I'm glad you posted this review. I JUST had the same experience. Teladoc is just a marketing scam to reel you in for the monthly fees then they boot you when you become too much of a liability for them by actually USING the service. Screw Teladoc!

Rip Off
My daughter was away at school and kept having a recurring sinus infection with chills, fever and very bad congestion. I told her to use Teladoc due to it being after hours and I felt like she needed to get some antibiotics quickly. She called them and they informed her she was not covered for this service but our insurance is paid and up to date. We went ahead and paid the cash fee of $45.00. When the doctor called her, he made her feel like an immature child. She is 25! He told her they only prescribe antibiotics for chronic sinusitis? Ok so chronic to me is recurring, right? That's what she has a recurring sinus infection! She explained she was running a fever and chills. He prescribed a nose spray!!!! She said "but can't I just go to the pharmacy and get that over the counter"? He said well I guess not since it's a prescription! She called me balling her eyes out in frustration! She called back and tried to report the rude doctor and they told her they would look into it and it would be up to 72 hours before they could get back to her. Needless to say, I am one made Momma right now!!! She is asking for a refund due to the lack of help and rude doctor who didn't help her one tiny bit! We will never use Teladoc again and I will definitely spread the word about my experience!!!
