employees beware!
This Internet business is a scam!
This company doesn't pay their employees, giving fake promises and poor excuses. Their manager fires people without any explanation.
If you are looking for a job - never ever work for this company

Telstar Marketing
The CEO of this company is using the alias of Mark Nash because he doesn't want people to know that his real name is Randy Crane - who has complaints against him all over the net.
He doesn't pay employees and then fires them when they start pressing for their money. Good luck geting your money after that cause he then just acts like you never existed.
STAY AWAY from this company for your own good!

Did not get paid.
BEWARE......Randy Crane/ Mark Nash does not pay his employees. He fires you by deactivating all your online accounts when you start asking about your pay and does not provide a ROE .Then he denies you ever worked there and ignores all you emails and phone messages.

Telstar Marketing NOT paying employees
They really hit a great pitch to suck you in to working for them. Then when it comes time to pay, it is not there! "something must have happened on your end" "it is a holiday in the States" "rest assured it is not your fault" "I am dealing with this immediately"....and it goes on, and on. They email you a fake paystub. When you question the hours, the have to "audit" fonality, HUD and shift planner. Lol. The excuses I have got over the last few weeks are unreal! I hope all of you know, you can put in a formal complaint, with your Provincial Employee Standards. As well as the Labour Board, and you can even put a complaint into the Better Business Bureau. I am so Thankful, I saved anything to do with Telstar, into a folder.(ei...email correspondence, I even recorded a few telephone messages). These people are literally "the lowest of low lieing scum sucking scum of the earth"!

Telstar ...lies and deciet
Have any of you ever noticed when you call the 1-855-300-2324 ext 7005 and ext 7042, Have the same voice lol. One is Mark Nash (7005) and the other is John Robinson(7042). They are all, are the same person! The narcissistic/split personality of a "human being" has not got one clue...even with 3 different personalities and names!!

TelStar
I'm going to start right off by saying "YES" I am going to defend Mark/Randy, and my reason is I am an employee of TelStar, and before Susan goes posting my past comments, I will admit that I was Fired for talking Company Business, and rightfully so I had no business being on the internet slandering a man that has been trying to put his past behind him, and make a good life for his family, I have to pat Mark on the back for being man enough to come out with the truth, that yes Mark is Randy, yes he has a past filled with mistakes (I'm sure not one person reading this can honestly say they have a squeaky clean past) After I very immaturely wrote nasty very nasty comments about my boss, he paid me, yes that one was late because unknown to me your last pay is mailed to you so it releases you and the company from the agreement, had I taken the time to read my contract I would have known that it was coming and I never would have said and done the things I did, I regret ever posting that garbage I know better, anything posted on here ends up in the hands of people that love to remind you of how immature a person can be, and those people can be very evil as I have seen here lately. Mark called me after I received my pay and asked me to return to work, I almost fell off my chair, here is a man that I tried to ruin, and he was giving me another chance, and not once has he ever thrown in my face the things I said and did to him, now that to me is a man with a heart, a big one at that, so if you were in my shoes wouldn't you defend him? I'm not saying not paying an employee is fair it's not and I don't agree with it but I have honestly not talked to an employee that hasn't been paid since I returned to work in March its been 3 months and everyone at TelStar is and has been being paid, I have to acknowledge the Time clock violations as well, I wasn't aware that you have to make 25 calls per hour every hour I thought that if I only made 20 the first hour I could catch up on the other 5 that's not how it works you have to get the 25 cph every hour it doesn't pass over, so I ended up with some hours that I was only paid 17cents a minute for my talk time that will take your pay down quite a bit so to make sure I'm getting my calls I keep track of it on paper, that way if my check is going to be low I know ahead of time. I know people are probably thinking "what does this have to do with not getting paid", it has everything to do with it, all I'm saying is there are a lot of people who think they are owed a pile of money when in reality they are not there's more to it then pressing numbers and adding 10 bucks an hour, you have to be making your CPH, you have to be getting leads and so on. I worked a list yesterday that was worked by a man that was just let go and he changed lead status to not interested on at least 3 pages of contacts, I got suspicious, so I contacted these leads, come to find out this person had never called them, that causes the company to lose a lot of money, and possible clients, yet he's crying out that TelStar is a scam, HE's the scam, wouldn't you say?? I'm sorry if this offends anybody that's not my intention, my intention is to just tell my side and my side is I get paid every 2 weeks, I get exactly what I am owed, and I will talk to other employees and have them write how they feel, I won't go to them and say, "I need you to agree with me blah, blah, blah, I'm going to ask them to write about their experience, is that fair enough?? By the way John is a real person, Mark/Randy does not use female alias's that is the truth, Mark doesn't hide his past, he's very open about who he is and where he has been, I wanna say Thank you Mark, TelStar has gotten me off Social Services and has made it possible for me to raise my son with money I have earned :) Have a great day everyone!!!

TelStar (Lies and Deceit )
In response to the above comment Mark and John are definately two different people, you may not believe me but I work with these men and I speak to them both everyday if Mark is John then he's an expert at changing his voice and has everyone fooled, not possible :)

No Results - No Return Calls
TelStar took $2,400.00 for a telemarketing campaign. I received NOTHING. I had a "Guarantee of 25 solid leads. (In writing on the contract). I received NONE. They appeared not to be able to even write a telemarketing script. They wrote one 7 paragraphs long that they took right from my website. Anyone knows you have about 30 seconds to catch someone's attention. Some supposed time was spent on telemarketing (with the leads I supplied NOT the leads list they were to include). I called approximately 20 times with not 1 return phone call..................only an email from Mark saying he was working on straightening things out. Never again did I hear from him or anyone else, like Roberta, like Bob or the 4 other people assigned to my account in a 1 month period.
DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY. Mark Nash tells a good story and makes empty promises and hopes you will stop calling. He does not want to be a reputable company. Reputable companies either do their job or refund your money!

Rip Off Invoices
I will Start off by saying Telstar sends me bills and faxs threating letters for a service that I never ordered or received, I have never signed anything or agreed to online marketing, our company employs a department of online marketers, It boggles my mind why I would hire a two bit marking "wannabe" marketing company with their own web page appearing to be created in 1992??
Telstar claims to have me on a recording agreeing to their service, yet they will not forward the recording or any paperwork (hmmm). This is a classic shotgun technique of sending invoices to legitimate companies and see who will pays.
I notice their names Telstar Intl. 1-866-266-3118 as well as their "collections department" ICR collections 514-667-0159 are both rip offs of legitimate firms with similar services in California.
Come on Telstar get original with something more then your SCAM techniques...quit riding on others coat tails and scamming real people out of money they earn !!
To the persons above defending mark nash, john robinson, or telstar.. with as many people complaining about their business practices on multiple websites, ask yourself is the whole world wrong or is it just you?

Did not speak to any of these people.
Got a bill out of the blue from Telstar claiming that my business was listed on some website that I still can't seem to find for the life of me. I'm in a small town and Canada wide marketing for a small town restaurant is pretty stupid.I would never agree to anything like that. Anyway, I called the number with the bill, and had a crazy heated conversation with two people about how I never agreed to anything and that whatever they did for a living was useless to me and that they pretty much tricked my wife into giving them our mailing address so they could send us the bill. So, today, booom, I got a call from their collections department. It has to be pretty fraudulent and wierd if you can't even find the listing you were charged for in the first place. You would think that a paid listing like that would be at least half as popular as Tripadvisor or the yellow pages. How is this happening?

Rip Off
As other business owners stated above I have experienced pretty much the same situation. Our company never got a contract for their services either. I am not sure how this company feels the right to do this unfair practices with billing for services that our company never agreed to nor signed a contract. BEWARE!!!!!!

TELSTAR SCAM
I received invoices for an online listing for my business. I never received a contract for services nor did I agree to pay them $649.95. A "collector" for this company named Jackie at 866-266-3118 keeps calling and telling me I need to pay, or else it would affect my credit history. She even offered to give me a 5% discount for paying with a card over the phone. I'm definitely not giving a stranger my credit card number over the phone.
