To all dissatisfied members of The Bliss Members and Mayan Palace
I was too trying to get a resolution directly with the resort, but it is imposible to get someone to answer you or reply back, its annoying feeling ignore by this company that is supposed to bring you some kind of customer service. I cancel my Mayan Palace membership with PROFECO they helped me a lot, it was fast and easy. I invite you and everyone that will read my post to read this article and get more information on how PROFECO works.

wow! shame on the sales associates that are willing to lie to you to be able to earn a few bucks.. sadly its true that they do not work in an honest manner.. always make sure that everything they promise you is within the contract if not.. its not going to happen..
here is another blacklist of more complaints to Mayan Palace, we are not the only ones..

Mayan Palace Timeshare Scam
The resort itself seems very nice, the sales pitch, however, is pure high-pressure sales. The sales people are snakes, their only motive is greed. They have no concern for what is ethical and will “brow beat” you to make their money. It was not worth the free breakfast and $50.00 dinner coupon. When I finally got up to walk away from the table, Luis got in my face and began to argue with me, telling me I couldn’t leave until he said the presentation was over. I continued to walk away as I raised my voice at him. You would think that that would be the end of it, but they will continue to pass you to the next person for a “survey” which turns into another sales pitch…these people are shameless. If you agree to attend the 90 minute presentation you will regret it.Search online for Mayan Palace Timeshare Scams for other “horror stories”:

Mayan Palace Vida Scam
I need help my husband and I are senior citizens with grown children , took a vacation in Cancun with a current vacation club we have for 3 years and once we arrive in Cancun our nightmare began to get transportation to our hotel we were broght to a sales person we didn't know that's what he was until started asking for money and telling us will get it back if we go to the presentation just to get to our hotel we sign up for 2 days later Mayan Palace Vida Vacations. Presentation was suppose to have breakfast and begin at 9:00 am. Don't know why but we were brought in to separate room and sales person kept on trying to tell us tax write off other vacation club and yearly membership will no longer applied and will have 24/7 availability etc. The thing is when my husband and I said no it was horror story brought in mgr and accountant botton line it was already 300 pm afternoon and we were weak and agreed. Sign all papers but the presentation and what we got are 2 different things. We are trying to get out of this contract if anyone knows please write to me at [email protected]

Mayan Palace Timeshare Scam
It is the same old story with the Mayan Palace timeshare resorts (owner David Chavez) who does not care about what fraud he perpetrates on timeshare buyers. The same old adage applies, with regard to rental fees applicable, etc. It is fraud and there is right of rescission in Mexico no matter what program you buy, no matter what the horror show salespeople tell you. Heve not met one semi-honest one representing the mayan chain yet. Yes, we got scammed and bought, never again. These are the worst operators in the business. The name of the programs, Mayan Regency, The Dream, Mayan Palace, Grand Mayan, Bliss, Grupo Luxxe change with regard to what they wish to charge. The upshot is if you are down the line in their program name game list you lose benefits. The tiger does not change its stripes. Beware:

Mayan Palace / Vida Vacations
Even after purchasing a timeshare at the Mayan Palace we were not allowed on the property without attending another 90 minute ( 5 hour ) timeshare presentation. We purchased a timeshare while on vacation in Riviera Maya for the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta. Later the next year we were on a Mexican cruise and one of the ports was near the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta. We rented a taxi and drove to the resort to view it for the fist time and have lunch. We were treated very rude, and were told we could not have access to the property without attending another sales presentation. I showed my membership card along with my contract number and a supervisor was called. The supervisor said there would be not exceptions and that everyone must attend the sales presentation owner or not. Needless to say we left without seeing the property. Mayan Palace is a JOKE. Do not waste your money on anything they offer. There are actually honest timeshare companies but the Mayan Palace is not one of them unless you like spending your vacations attending repeated 5 hour presentations!
