The Bull shit of "Ancient Aliens" series
For those of you who've watched this series; the following will be familiar:
(Could it be that Ancient Aliens have taken up residence in Hillary Clinton's vagina? And if so, do they have all the missing copies of her emails? Ancient Alien theorists say "Yes".)
Or how about this:
(Could it be that our government has collected all of Michelle Obama's farts & are secretly storing them in Area 51? And if so, are these farts being used as an artificial atmosphere to sustain Ancient Aliens? Ancient Alien theorists say "Yes")
I can write lots more of this Bull Shit. It just keeps coming out of my ass. So any time the so called "History Channel" wants more "original material" for the Ancient Alien series, don't hesitate to ask.

The History Channel has sadly chosen the path of reality TV shows! History should be about history! Not only have the shows gotten worse but the volumes are out of control! Not only that but the commentators are very irritating and childish!! This used to be my favorite channel but now PBS and BBC are better!

Maybe this channel should be called the American picker channel. Far far too many showings of this program. Sometimes it seems like you have nothing else to show and I can remember a lot of great shows in the past. What a waste.

No History on the History Channel
What the heck happened to the history content on the History Channel. They every thing but history shows on the channel. There used to be a ton if shows about every aspect of history! Now we get pawn shows, swamp shows, anything but historical content. Super sad to see. Tell the person in charge of programming, they missed the mark totally!!

Ancient aliens
While my mother in law love Ancient Aliens, I have found several issues, not the simplest is in the episode about the Pleiades, one "expert" states that 800 meters is a half kilometer. I would think that given part of this show is to express viable, plausible, and potentially real information, based on professional and serious explorations and deductions, that the channel editors and producers would hold these people accountable to bring accurate in the math that express if nothing else. This small simple failure makes it even easier for me to dismiss this show as pure fiction, and in doing so, make me less likely to put any value in anything else they broadcast. I may block this channel soon. We shall see.

The Pickers
The constant use of the nauseating program "Pickers" is an insult to the intelligence of the American viewer. You are promoted as the History Channel,. so continue to present those many aspect of our history, the past notables, the wars, the historic moments, tragedies, the foods we eat, population growth, all those elements that comprise our history. Not two dummies pretending to, first, have the value knowledge of every item - definitely a scripted insertion not fact; secondly, the inane comments made by either of them and third, possibly one program every month or so, fine. But seemingly day after day. It's a disgusting use of the promotional flim flam being foisted on the viewing public. Either return to the initial basis of your formation or change the program name to "Hysterical or Inconsequential" channel.

The Fourth Crusade
Watching the show on the Rise and Fall of the Ottoman Empire, I noted that the narrator said that the Sultan was the first in 1700 years to conquer Constantinople. That is not true. The Latin Christians (Venetians) took and sacked the city in 1203 (give or take a year). They left the city gravely wounded and this might have contributed to it's fall in 1453. The walls were weakened in the earlier sack. See the Fourth Crusade.

Correction: Not 1700 years but I believe the narrator said it was the first successful siege of the city in 1100 years. The Latin Christians took the city in April 1204 and sacked it. The Venetian leader was Enrico Dandolo (1107 to 1205). Wow, if the dates are correct, the Doge would have been well into his nineties during the siege. The Western Christians took the Eastern Christian city of 450,000 with somewhere around 20,000 soldiers. This was the famous Fourth Crusade.

Alone season 7 was i think the best so far in the series But season 8 are a bunch of lazy and really people that shoud not even be up there !! for being so called survilalists they are very very lazy !!! but also in there defense you have put them where the bears have eaten almost all the food. not many of them really know how to fish or even try !!! My favorite to wein is CLAY from kendrick ,IDAHO !!! HE seems to be the only hunter !!! COLTER is playing a waiting game but he may last awhile longer maybe ? alot of good shelters havebeen built thats good !! the commercials seem to be very annoying more than ever !!! Anyway thats myopinion and CLAY is my perdiction to win !!! thanks DAVID !!!!
