new local weather format
Who really cares about the changes when the weather channel with all their expensive equipment cannot get the weather correct. I live in Groves, Texas and I stupidly adjust my day according to the weather and it is 95% incorrect. I heard a lot of people in the grocery store this evening talking about not watching the station anymore and I have decided to do the same. Students at Texas A&M can predict the weather a lot more accurately than those fools Jim Cantore and the rest. A big waste of time.

No on demand weather
Response to Weather channel format.
It has also come to my attention that the Weather Channel had changed they programming to other shows that are not directly related to the 24 hours weather provided. They recent changes to the Weather Underground portion which ends at 8pm. The weekend recharge is a joke when they start talking about other programming like SOS and others that has nothing to do with the contract as a 24 hr weather channel. I use to have an on-demand weather channel from accuweather for ATT Uverse but they did away with that last year. I wonder if the weather channel had something to do with that, I also recall when a feud started between Dish networks a year ago or so when they dumped the weather channel that they went beserk! The company remember was bought from nbc universal after that that weather channel really tanked out, I can say also that they weather team and the more recent programming changes has hurt the forecasting portion of their group, The reason being is that not they put more sensationalization and pay less attention to looking at the situation.
My suggestion is to start back the 24hr weather on demand with NOAA weather broadcasts tailored to the local forecast area and or the on demand weather summary from like weather nation or other service that can provide a clear synopsis of the weather and EXPERIENCED FORECASTER VIEW not just the holy grail of the now infamous stupid European model. God they take that as the Bible or something.
Anyway any fight to the Cable companies like ATT and COMCAST is something we need to take to NOAA the administration and FEMA and complain that at least there should be priority 24hour on demand weather no questions asked whether is the weather channel or not.
