DONT RENT AT TIMBERCREEK COMMUNITIES

I'm going to tell you about the bad experience I had when renting at Timbercreek Communities. The month of November 2016 I applied to rent an apartment starting on December 1, 2016 before signing the contract the manager in charge of those properties told me that they had a special and that I as a new tenant would not have to pay for 2 months of rent that would be free so I was happy with the news and additionally because I liked the location and the apartment plus they were almost new.
Later on I decided to sign the contract so everything was stipulated there. Finally I moved on December 1, 2016 for the almost new apartment with 2 months free of rent.
After 5 months, I decided to move to a different province, so in May 2017, notify the building manager with enough time. In the month of September of 2017 I notified Timbercreek Communities in writing about my movement of the apartment and I notified them that I would vacate the apartment at the end of my contract and they agreed.
According to my rental agreement, my tenancy began on December 1, 2016 and ended on November 30, 2017, so I decided to move at the end of November but it turned out that the building manager contacted me and told me that my tenancy would end until December 31, 2017 so for me it was impossible to stay in the apartment until the end of December because I had everything ready to move so I told them I could not postpone the move and then the manager of these properties told me that there was no problem that I could vacate the apartment and that I would not be worry about the month of December 2017 because that was my last month and that I had already paid for it since the beginning of the contract.
So that in the middle of the confusion and in the eagerness to move, Timbercreek Communities asked me to pay the month of November 2017 as usual and the month of December was already paid.
Additionally for the month of October I received a notification from Timbercreek Communities informing that by December 1, 2017 I had to pay the rent increase by law so I had to make one more payment with the difference. I finally moved at the end of November 2017. A couple of months after arriving in my new place I took the rental agreement from Timbercreek Communities and I read it and reviewed the information there and I realized that my tenancy legally was ended on November 30, 2017 and not December 31, 2017 as Timbercreek Communities had determined. The dates were clear in the agreement therefore I come to the conclusion that not only they demanded me to pay the last month but also they took the money that corresponded to the last month.
In addition to all the above hydro costs were exorbitant I paid $ 565.00 every 2 months and last month paid $ 265.00 just 2 persons living in the apartment without using the dishwasher and not even the oven just to avoid high hydro payments it was sooo expensive.
Work orders took sooo long about 2 to 3 months and parking spot fees really high $60.00 monthly outside parking.
That was my history and really bad experience at Timbercreek Communities in Waterloo Ontario at 400 Parkside Drive Building.
