I would probably reconsider
Living and dealing with Timbercreek Communities was the biggest mistake I've made. Before signing the lease, I asked the management company at least 10 times if they have a pest issue because reviews online stated that they, in fact, have a huge issue. I was assured up and down that there is no issue and that my place was treated before I even move in. The unit itself was in decent condition and I has asked a few people in the building who seemed to think it was a thing of the past. That was not accurate. This building has a massive bed bug problem and from what I've heard from other people, they also have a big cockroach problem.
After letting them know about the issue, they did bring in someone to treat the unit within the week, however, I told multiple Timbercreek employees that the issue is not contained to one unit as I saw the IN THE HALLWAY. They told me it was an isolated incident and left me feeling really confused as to how this would happen to me. That same night, I met several other people who were also preparing their units for bed bug treatment, and those units were nowhere near mine.
After the treatment, there was no sign of bed bugs slowing down and the unit became uninhabitable. The Regional Property manager, Marc, assured me the treatment will be done every 2 weeks. So I decided to move out right away but paid for Sept rent ($1700) even though I'm not living there, but because I wanted my furniture treated twice before I moved out (one month = 2 treatments). But in classic Timbercreek style, they have postponed the treatment to make it 3 weeks away, ensuring they only need to pay for one more treatment while my furniture remains in the unit.
This is just one of the MANY issues I have here. Including that I have been followed up to my apartment twice now, even though 2 security guards were at the door (they just let him walk in behind me).
I write this, not to scold and complain but to look out for others. I am 28 years old, a clean and respectable tenant. And because I chose to live at Timbercreek my whole life feels as if it is in shambles right now. I would HIGHLY encourage everyone to avoid this property management company at all cost.

Management is a joke! Maintenance is a joke! Literally this entire company is disgusting. The care about money and nothing else.
The only manager they had was amazing and they fired her because she complained of a co-worker harassing her. Learn labour laws you idiots!
STAY AWAY FROM TIMBERCREEK!

worst landlord
As far as the management is concerned they must be in dreamland. Their properties are roach infested, and no matter your complain it falls on deaf ears. They are more concerned with rent increases than actually keeping the properties in good repair and actually offering a clean environment, and mould free. For what they charge for their rentals they get one (1) star.

Worst Property Managers out there
Timbercreek is by far the worst property managers out there. They are completely ignorant towards their tenants and they treat you like scum of the earth. I personally live in Tower 1 of the Richmond Towers in Waterloo and the experience has been a complete joke from day one to say the least. We've had problem after problem with our unit and they ignore every request for help. The building currently smell like pure sh** as there must be a major sewage backup. That smell has been around for days. Not to mention, the tap water comes out with a white matter in it so I don't even feel safe brushing my teeth with it. There was one point that the key fob access system was reset and they posted a note saying that they had issued a form to fill out to ensure that the key fobs were all up to date with tenants. Well, we filled out that form, sent it in and our fobs were still decommissioned. They did that on a Friday so you couldn't even call to dispute the issue until their office reopened on Monday, therefore we were left having to wait for someone to let us into the building all weekend. The elevators are always down, the parkade looks like its going to collapse with all the crumbling concrete, the gym is garbage and maybe 20% of equipment works and the building is full of bugs. Stay away from this facility at all costs. Save yourself the headache and stress as there are much more presentable properties for rent at the same price or less.

Very bad management
If you're not an Albanian, there's no career growth nor monetary gains for you in Timbercreek. My friend used to work there and because she's not an Albanian, like Erinda and Oxana these 2 ladies made things difficult for her. Her termination has been maneuvered and worst thing is these guys including Hero washed their hands like Pontius Pilate saying it's not their decision but the managements' . The higher management of Timbercreek do not have the slightest idea that they are being used to serve the selfish interests of these crooked bitches. For anyone who has the intention of applying for a job at Timbercreek, if you're not an Albanian don't waste your time. I'm warning you..for as long as Erinda, Oxana, Hero, Becca F and J Lo are still in Timbercreek they'll create a conspiracy just to oust you. These guys have no mercy. They're a bunch of fake individuals who only favors whom they choose.
The latest thing I heard was a about a Filipino whom they terminated for the same old lousy reason. When you look at the Core Values of Timbercreek you'll be amazed but these Core Values are mere words....but never been put into action. Maybe it's just a show off. I hope someone in authority would look into this company and find out what's actually happening. Please investigate how your employees deal with your contractors. Don't be fooled. Seems like there's a Mafia who's doing an inside job. I pity the owners and stakeholders of Timbercreek because some of their employees are doing their jobs simply for their own selfish interests worst is...they are sugar coating everything they say just to make it appear that they are doing good when on the contrary..what they do is as bad as racism and bullying. We all know that everyone qualified has the right to be hired and get employed but this fake people of Timbercreek can place you in a job and can easily terminate you when they want.its easy for them to create a scenario to make people believe that what they did is just right. When in reality the victim remains unfairly treated and gets terminated with hurt and disrespect.

I moved out from these nasty crooks 2 years ago, but I'll gladly write a review. Where to start? The workers. Nasty, ignorant and power-trippers. They don't listen to a word you have to say, they don't take your complaints seriously and they speak to you like you've owed them money for the last few years.
It all made sense why the building was so badly managed and it was clearly reflected; disgusting floor, insects taking over, elevators not functioning (cockroaches, bed bugs infestation on every floor) and of course... rats! I could hear them going over my head through the ceiling at nighttime. The gym? You can find the insects working out as well. The pool? Some drowned, some tanning.. water and general pool area had a deterring smell..
I hope the entire timbercrooks management and their buildings collapse. Not up to health and safety standards. I am glad I thrashed the apartment before leaving. Catch Covid and go to hell.
