Bait and Switch
I followed the instructions and decided to see if my timeshare "qualified" for a cash offer. Seemed like a reasonable thing to find out, since they put that option in BOLD LETTERS:
"Does Your Timeshare Unit Qualify for an Instant Cash Offer?
If you're selling your timeshare property, please contact us now (1-800-581-7330) for a CASH OFFER to purchase your timeshare."
--
I called, and the man on the phone started off immediately with "you don't want to accept any cash offer" and I said er, that's why I called. Then he became quite condescending, asking if I wanted to be led down the right path or the wrong path, blah blah blah. I hung up. Anyway, the website is misleading and a waste of time. I know of about 30 sold properties in the same timeshare in the last six months, and they reported 0 sales in 18 months.
Just a heads up.

RUDE
So, I just got off the phone with Joanna Wylie (something like that), and in the middle of my conversation, she called me silly and hung up on me! WTF kind of person does that, a RUDE one!! I am trying to sell my timeshare, I started to look into it last year, I put it away for a few months, and I started again, you know trying to sell it. I DO NOT want to pay any monies up front. I told her that and was trying to explain that, when you go on line to do some research on how to sell your timeshare, you come up with some companies that do NOT charge an upfront fee. I don't know if they are legit or not, I don't even know if that information is accurate, all I was trying to do is explain to her, that, it is very intimidating and all Ms Joanna had was name calling and hung up on me.
BTW, they charge a fee of 1595.00 up front.
