Tree felling
As residents of a Tingdene residential park in Wiltshire many of us have been dismayed that drastic alterations to the landscaping around our homes are suddenly undertaken without any consultation with us or even without the courtesy of being informed of the company's plans for this area in which we live.
Recently several huge old oak trees have been felled and shrubbery cleared away. We - the residents - don't know why. We of course accept that changes have to happen. Maybe a roadway is needed, or parking or space for new homes - who knows? We don't. We are not unreasonable people but most of us chose to live here because of the secluded woodland nature of the site - we love the trees and associated wildlife. Now, today, we have seen marks on more trees, indicating imminent felling. One huge old tree in particular close to three of our homes has been marked and none of us who live in these three homes can see a reason that it should go, whatever the planned development. We would really like the opportunity to talk to someone from Tingdene about it. How can we get in touch with them? Do you know? If so can you get in touch here. Or - Tingdene - if you read this then please come and talk to us.
