yeah trafford sucks
I totally agree with all these complaints, as I am a Trafford victim. They are beyond disgusting. I am just waiting for a mass lawsuit against this company. My book would help so many people and maybe it has but where in the hell are my royalties for all my hard work and dedication.
I spoke to an attorney and he said to revise it and have it published elsewhere. My problem is: Who can I trust? Will they rip me off too?
I want recourse on this.

fraudulant with actual sales
I agree with you! I found my book on 26, 000 sites. For the last 14 months Trafford was behind on their posting of statements. Then the news came, zero sales for that year and a half! I was aware of disappearing sales back in 2009 so I made it a point to buy a book once a month through local book stores and on-line distributors. Along with friends that saved their receipts. So I have proof! I tried contacting royalty hunters but they say they won't touch it for under a million! Like you, I would see 15 new 5 used on Amazon. So being a good company that they are they informed me that, in order for a customer to sell a new or used book, they must have purchased it first, not speculation sales. Trafford states in their guide lines, when ever a book is printed you earn a royalty! Not when ever the book sells but when it is printed. So all the books of yours you see for sale where printed first. Time for a class action lawsuit!

Trafford Publishing are liars
These guys will do their utmost to get your signature on a contract to publish your book. Don't trust them. They're going to promise that they'll pay you the royalties but they wouldn't! They are just liars! Don't use these guys, they must be avoided, there are other publishers out there!

fraudulent publisher!
I used their services for book printing. I paid them money and printing supposed to be done in two months. Actually they just took my deposit and never printed my book. I am waiting more than three months now and every time i contacted them I just receive apologizes and fake promises. I will never recommend his company to anyone!

Everything about them is fake
Everything, from the cutesy names of their consultants to the five star reviews they receive, is fake. This is a sleazy, deceptive company out to harm authors, take their money, and when it's all said and done, take their royalties.
If you try to complain, they will resort to emotional bullying tactics, boldly accosting you from the safety of their phone lines, with their offices on the other side of the world. They will never lose; the author will. They will NEVER let you go and it will NEVER be enough money.
Stay far away from this scam.

Class-action law suit
I have had books published by Trafford and have NEVER received a royalty payment.
What is the best procedure to start a class-action suit against this company?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It seems there are more than enough people who would be willing to sign on.

I HAVE PUBLISHED 4 BOOKS WITH TRAFFORD AND. ONE MONTH I HAD 470 UNIQUE VISITORS ON MY BOOK WEBSITE WITH A REPORT FROM TRAFFORD OF A FEW E-BOOKS SALES; YES, SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG BECAUSE NOW I'M BOMBARDED WITH PHONE & EMAILS FROM (I PRESUME) FORMER MEMBERS OF THEIR AUTHOR SOLUTIONS (HOW ELSE WOULD THEY HAVE THIS INFO?). I'VE CHECKED THESE COMPANIES AND FIND CUSTOMERS THAT GOT MUCH WORST DEALS THAN I DID IN THIS REGARD: IT WAS SOMETHING OF A NIGHTMARE TO GET IT RIGHT BUT I'M VERY PROUD OF THE END PRODUCTS OF MY BOOKS AND ALSO THAT TRAFFORD STAFF WOULD DO OVER AND OVER FOR NO ADDITIONAL COST ALL THE ERRORS I FOUND IN THEIR WORK.I LOVE THE WEB PAGES THEY CREATED AND THE WAY MY BOOKS APPEAR AT BARNES & NOBLE, ETC. I'VE FOUND MY BOOKS IN MANY PLACES ALSO AND SOLD AS USED LIBRARY BOOKS..MY QUESTION IF THEY ARE USED WHERE IS MY MONEY FROM WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY BOUGHT IT? I'VE ALSO FOUND MY BOOKS PUBLISHED IN FRENCH AND THE GERMAN? LANGUAGE. RIGHT NOW, I'M REDOING MY BOOKS AND PLAN TO PUBLISH THEM UNDER DIFFERENT TITLES WITH SOMEONE ELSE. FRANKLY I TRULY WISH TRAFFORD WAS A GOOD AND HONEST PUBLISHER.

Royalties
I had a book published with trafford publishing in 2009 after 2 years of going back and forth to get it published It sold well as per yahoo google and amazon however I got no royalties from Trafford they claimed no little or no sales Has anyone else had that problem?
