Bad Representation

Most collection companies get bad reviews from debtors but does anyone ever question why this happens? Trident is a legitimate company with knowledgeable reps however as a result of debtors who DO NOT WANT TO PAY their bills the go on websites and bash the company. Not all collection reps are rude and just out to get money, I found that out after I contacted Trident and for once spoke with an agent that was more focused on helping me than just getting my money.I determined that I was a victim of fraud but it was based on a divorce.The rep offered me a settlement of 50% because unfortunately I was partly responsible for marrying a loser.
