hi there, i just received a terrifying news fron truworths that i am blacklisted due to their poor service i paid my account in full last year august and in november they sent me a confirmation letter telling me that my account is paid in full so later in september i received a call from Nashlyn Mullins and a manager from Truworths telling me that i over paid the account i must go get my R865.00 back so i went as per request so yesterday i tried applying for a credit card and i was told thta i owe truworths an amount of R1069.00 and i am handed over to more lawyres so i went to the store and they told me its late they will call me back today i received a call from a rude lady who told me it is my fault that truworths told me to go get the money back they cannot help me i must go pay the money i owe them so please can someone advise me of any lawyers who can help me regarding this nonsnesne from Truworths please

I'm so pissed off @truworths because I lost my job and I cld not pay my account.last year I finally managed to settle my debt and some lady said I wld be cleared but to my suprise when I tried to buy a car this month they said I'm blacklisted.when they want their money yhey will call u a thousand times but to write me a simple clearance letter is so difficult !! I will never ever have a truworths acc in my life!

Good day I had an account with Truwoths and finished paying it. I realised now that I have an outstanding amount of R100 which is registered as a default on my account. I cannot understand how that is possible because I personnaly went in and payed the full amount directly at the store. Please assist my ID number 7806230425087. To whom it may concern I was a holder of a truworths acc that later went to arrears two years ago it was paid up to my suprise my name hasn't been cleared up to date.l recently went to truworths to inquire what to do'l was given a number of the attorney who handled my acc, in return the attorneys told me that they did send me a clearance letter on my e-mail acc but to my suprise l did not receive that e-mail on the 11 of sep my e-mail add is [email protected] and my I. D no 7606076368080 pls this has ruined my name.l need your help at list to have that letter resent to my e-mail add. Thank you.

plans that I don't know off
I complain about the plans that are changing or sabotaging my account every purchase I do happens to have another plan that I'm unaware of it they say I've got 2 six months plan and a 12 month plan. The thing is I only applied for the twelve month plan and this other plans u just be given by the front-liners when u purchase without any given word from you and they expect you to change that within 30 days which you also don't know about and that's how they make money with us poor people been taken advantage off now my account is going to be in arrears because I can not afford what someone has planned for me.I spoke to one of the managers who really knows that their staff can make mistakes but I must pay for their mistake. With about 8 years with them without faltering on the way until now its their reward because they see they can make money with me

fraudulent account application
I received an sms on the 21-12-2012 from truworths stating that my account has been approved ant that I should go to the nearest truworths store with my I.D Document to activate my account,however I did not apply for a Truworths account,this was fraudulently done in my name.How do I go about finding out who has used my personal details to apply for this account and if Truworths can trace the cell no that was used to apply for this account?

I had sent through an sms with my I.D no and name to 37122 as advertised on national TV. I then received the following response "Congratulations S MOODLEY, ur account has been approved with a R900 credit limit subject to affordability. To shop visit any Truworths store with ur ID book." I went to the truworths store at brooklyn mall , Pta. The cashier had put my details on the computer and told me " your account is declined " I found the sms response from truworths to be extremely misleading and humiliating. A service of this nature should not be allowed . And should not even be broadcast on TV.

Current balance
On the 22nd of February 2013 at Truworths in Eastgate Shopping Centre I wanted to buy few things unfortunately I could not because someone has blocked my account. The staff from Truworths phoned Head office to clarify us and they told us to call Truworths in Cape gate. We phoned but nobody answered. I asked the staff to print out for me the current balance which says I owe R1640.71, I even got an SMS on the 22nd ofFebruary 2013 that reminds me of paying the amount of R294.00 before the 3rd of March 2013. On the 4th of March I paid the amount of R300 in Pretoria at Truworths Church street and still showing the balance of R1340.71. On the 8th of March 2013 I bought a Cobalt Tregging with the amount of R240.00 but when I get home and check the slip it shows my current balance of R6580.71. On the 12 of March at 09:54am I phoned the Truworths Customer Service about this matter and they told me that there is nothing much that they can do but I must just pay that balance. Further more they told me that Truworths Cape gate refunded me the amount of R5000 and I told the lady that I was in Cape Town in December I'm not staying there how did it happen? I told her that I've paid the amount of R5000 in December 2012 at Cape gate Truworths,she told me that whoever who was capturing the money in the store captured R10000 instead of R5000. You can imagine from December to March nobody called me to explain until they decide to increase my current balance. I believe that this is not fare to me as a customer and I always pay this account on time. My account number is 10100349897035

hi my name is Angela and i lost my job last year and i couldn't pay my account due to that and you guys have been calling me none stop even though i went to the Truworths store in Rustenburg and explain the situation and also the call center people that i numerously telling you that i'll pay as soon as possible but instead you keep adding more interest even when somebody tells you that she can't right now but promise to settle this as soon as i get a job so please if you can stop adding too many interest as i know i'm owing you but the more you put many the difficult is for me to pay.My card number is 10100517057343

call centre people are rude, irritating and swear on customers, i hate numerous phone call asking when am i going to pay my account, firstly truworths offered me account without applying, i received an sms stating that my account was approved (fraudulant account application) and i pay accordingly. I get paid month end and i do payment every month and finish within 6 months period and i dont see purpose of call centre contacting me.
this is too much for me and i going to settle my last installment and close this account, no wonder customers are pulling out from truworths. my acount is 10100353678240, i will save money for my children.
I hope truworths will consider taking Nomsa and the rest of your call centre employees back school to study customer care.

i went to open an account at truworths gugulethu square for the first time in my life, to my surprised i was informed that i have an account with truworths, i demand to see the file,copy of the id together with any signatures were put thereon together with footage because the contract you have should show the date and time the account was opened.this will make you see that i dont have account with truworths and clear my name please

My name is Nomsa Cele I am not happy with the service that I receive from Truworths. Truworths has phoned me several times about my account that is on arrears and I only missed one month without paying but before that truworths use to deduct twice in my account and I didnt ask to be paid back. So am sad the way i am being treated by Truworths. I just want Truworths to know that once I finish to pay off my remaining instalment I will cancel my account and will never have any contact that I will make with Truworths. My name is Nhlanhla Radebe I am not happy. Truworths and MBD has phoned me several times about my account that I Have payed and closed since 2008. I even explained the reason to everyone that has contacted me from MBD i no longer know who should i explain to cause your people somehow not understanding what i say to them. i even took the last payment slip to truwoths Maponya trying to make them stop but till todate i still get the calls. my email address is [email protected]

automatic credit increase
truwoths stores embarrassed me 2 times with this thing of automatic credit increase, i went to truwoths store to do shopping for my niece tjoo!!! that day i will never forget. my niece spend lot of time fitting the clothes she want because i know i had enough credit tjoo!! when it was time to pay they told me i had nothing left on my acc,i told them i dont understand because 7 days ago i had lot of credit.The second time they make me a fool, truwoths send me sms about credit increase i reply then a consultant call me said i had credit increase then i went to truwoths store the following day for shopping only to find out i didnt get incresse i just have to increase my installment because they gave me automatic increase 3 months back, the worse part they even took the credit i had so i had nothing on my account, what makes me angry is the fact that they dont tell me straight they have to increase my installment because of the automatic credit increase i received. In that way was going to be better but now they are beeing rude to me and i'm going to close my acc as soon i settle my bill.

tired of phone calls
I am tired of truworths who does'nt want 2 understand the customers problems, when i was working I used to pay my account, now I don't afford to pay the money that is needed, but am paying what ever i have, but now they always phone me asking if when am I gonna pay the full amount, but I wish I can have the money then i'll pay and close the account bcoz am tired of being harrassed every day.my email address is [email protected]

I received a terrible service in truworths church street on 29-03-16.i went at 9am to pay for my account bt the shop was still closed,we waited till 9:15 and then we asked the security,what time does the shop opens,he responded,and said he does not know we must wait so we can speak to the manager.We waited and we decided to go because some of us were rushing to work,that is the main reason why most of us are not able to pay for the accounts on time.Make sure that you sort this problem,before you loose customers.Thanks Sinegugu
