Poor Customer Service
These people are pure scum. There are free registry cleaners that are merely useless, but usually do no harm. I have seen Uniblue's rubbish destroy several Windows installations, although usually it can be removed one way or another. It is sad you had to reinstall everything to fix what started out as a simple problem. But don't feel bad, I have had to clean up after several customers who tried a variety of other ineffective things, including getting rid of Uniblue. The first thing you might consider when you have a problem is System Restore, built into Windows. You can undo this if it makes things worse. Installing more layers of junk is usually not a good idea. If you really want to spend money, call a local pro, but only after you research the problem. Most can be fixed easily without downloading any dodgy software.

causing conputer to stop.
Try System Restore to revert your machine back to a date before it was infected with Uniblue. Boot up in Safe Mode if you can't do this in normal mode.
