Warranty
We purchased a sectional from Jordans in 2011 for about $2500. We also bought the furniture protection plan for an additional $225. What a mistake. They make it so hard to get our claims approved. Our kids got ink and mud stains on the chaise and I couldn't get the mud out entirely with the spot cleaner they gave us( I didn't even want to touch the ink). We reported that a day later but when the cleaner comes, he says they're accumulated and calls Uniters and leaves. Uniters denies my claim saying that we needed to report the condition of the sectional as a whole. How does that make sense? And how can the cleaner ( Duraclean) say that they're accumulated stains? Did he live in my house for the past year? We just wanted them to come clean the mud and ink but they wouldn't even do that even though we paid for the warranty. Don't bother with getting the plan. Jordans tries hard to sell it, every thing is covered they say. Apparently not.

Uniters is a SCAM
We purchased a dining room table and chairs from Macy's in St. Louis and a protection plan from Uniters. What a SCAM and a waste of money. We have grease spots on the table and on chair from a dinner party and when I called for the warranty company to clean the furniture, the tech came to my house, didn't clean anything, and he left. And then when I called and asked for someone else to come and remove the grease spot, I was told it is not covered because the spots were not reported at the same time and that I was exempt from reporting any other grease spots. Which is ridiculous because the warranty says you can have the same issue fixed repeatedly. I think they just deny. deny, deny when claims come in and then make it such a hassle to try to have anything fixed, you give up. How can I be told that someone will come fix the grease spot and then tell me it is not covered. IT IS A SCAM to get your money. Do not purchase one of these. June 9, 2015.
