No cooks for our daughters at Texas State DZ House
Upper Crust Food Service has shut down the company email address which they posted on their website to contact the company about recurring problems with cooks not showing up to cook meals as contracted. The cooks have even been taking food out of the DZ house to feed their own families. Send email with complaints to office@uppersrustfoodservice,com as shown on the website and the next day it was kicked back as undeliverable, address unknow. Here's the complaint:
Subject: Inadequate Support from Chef Staff - Delta Zeta Sorority - Texas State University _ San Marcos, Texas
Dear Mr. Guy, Mr. Tye and Upper Crust Food Service Management,
I believe that you may not be aware of a major issue that has been going all semester at my daughters sorority, Delta Zeta at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
There has been a lack of meal preparation nearly every week that your company is responsible for providing. This issue has been communicated to your local representative continuously over the last few months and the same issues keep occurring.
In order to provide clarity, these are the recurring issues: chef does not show up to prepare meals as scheduled; meals are not probably prepared and the food is often under cooked. Meal variety does not meet your own standards as you publish on your website and this has been communicated to your local representative as well. More than often than not, cold breakfast without proteins are the only available option if the chef / cook even shows up. It has been noticed that chef / cook duties are hindered by their children that they bring to the house when they are supposed be preparing meals.
Several other parents have reached out to address these issue to your local representative and to the sorority. Unfortunately, as a very concerned parent we are in a dilemma of contacting the same person over and over again and not getting any true results or resolution to this recurring lack of support or providing the services you under contract to provide.
I have reached out to the local San Antonio news station to get some added visibility to help get this issue resolved. DZ HQ is also copied as I am not sure that are aware that this is occurring at their chapter and they need to be informed.
Please advise as to how you can help resolve these issues.
Sincerely, a very concerned parent.
