Horrible
My name is Tinnieh Guajardo and back in July I had booked a vacation to Las Vegas which included lodging through your agency. The deal was $199 for check in at The Berkley on October 5th and check out on October 8th. There was an odd post to the credit card I used for this transaction which appeared as though the transaction had been disputed. I immediately called my credit card company to verify that the transaction was in fact actual and true. I gave them instruction to proceed with the transaction and release funds. My credit card returned the payment to Vacation Villages on September 2nd. Then, I called Vacation Villages at 702-826-5454 to confirm my reservation since I had never seen an email confirmation. I was told that the reservation was canceled because the payment was not received. As I proceed to verify that the payment had indeed been sent to the Merchant's bank, Vacation Villages; the lady I was speaking to was either chewing gum, or eating food because she was making smacking noises over the phone. The two representatives I had spoke to were the most rude, unprofessional customer services representatives I have ever had to speak with. They were not helpful and made me feel as though I was a bother to them. They made me feel as I was lying and wrong about the fact that the Merchant, Vacation Villages had received my payment. I felt that at any moment they would hang up on me. Also, they would repeatedly sigh over the phone when I would ask a question and had tones of annoyance in their voices. When they requested for me to hold as they spoke with their manager I could hear laughing and the use of vulgar language in the background.
Aside from how horrible the experience was with the representatives I have a canceled reservation. As a matter of fact, the representatives were trying to get me to pay for the entire trip all over again; which I declined because I do not think it to be fair that I have to pay twice for the trip. Besides, they told me that the original hotel, The Berkley was no longer available. I knew this was not true because I called the hotel myself and verified that there was room. The Berkley still had my reservation pending and it was not a cancel on their end. The reason I had to book with Berkley is because I am going with a group of girls for my bachelorette party and we already have one reservation for The Berkley with Vacation Villages. We all wanted to be in the same hotel. However, representatives for Vacation Villages argued there was no room at The Berkley. There is a pleasant young lady by the name of Dariana who attempted to speak with Vacation Villages to explain that there was in fact room available at The Berkley. She will confirm that the level of professionalism and customer service is unexceptional. I am very embarrassed for Vacation Villages because it's representatives are extremely unprofessional and incompetent! I am extremely unsatisfied with the my entire experience!
