Stay Away.....Scam....Scam....Scam
We went to a home show....filled out a raffle ticket to win a free vacation, big mistake! Got a call that we won a free vacation. We were told it wasn't a time share, but it essentially was, just had a new name. They told us we wouldn't have to buy anything and it would only take an hour to an hour and a half to go look at amenities. Lies....lies....lies. First of all the sales guy was the biggest crap talker I've ever heard. He basically kidnaps you, takes you to the Columbia for lunch, then asks you to leave a tip on a bill you don't even see....totally unprofessional. They put you up in a terrible room with an uncomfortable bed, but then show you a plush suite and tell you that the plush ones are the ones you will get. Then, after about 2 hrs, they take you back to the sales office where they fill you with more lies about $150.00 cruises and rooms all over the world for $299.00. We were stupid and bought into it....after spending 5 1/2 hours and $800.00 down payment, we got our package and went home. Excited about being able to get some inexpensive travel, I started my research. I found nothing under $500.00 worth a damn and I could have found better deals on Expedia. Then I started looking at reviews and started reading all of the negative reviews. We decided to cancel since we were still within our cancellation period....10 days. Thank goodness we had the for-thought to send the book, and bag that they give you when you purchase, because when we got the reconciliation statement from them, we found they would have charged us $75.00 just for the book if its not returned at the time of cancellation. Its not worth the free weekend in the crappy room. We couldn't check in until 4pm the night you arrive, you spend the whole day with the idiot sales guy which ruined our plans to spend the day in Orlando, and you have to check out by 11am the next day. Stupid for falling for the scam, but it did feel better knowing the sales guy thought he was getting a commission from us and then we yanked that back by cancelling.....win!

SCAM ALERT - DO NOT DO THIS
As others have stated, DO NOT DO THIS!! We did, only to find out that everything they told us at the meeting was false - there is nothing available, even in non-prime time, for the prices they showed us. On top of that, they told us that the cruise prices, which were pretty good, were INCLUDING all other fees, taxes, and port charges. NOT TRUE. They are liars and frauds who prey on people with lies and high pressure tactics. We were fools and are working through our credit card company to get our money refunded. It is unfortunate that people like this cannot use their talents in a more productive and honest way, but I guess that is the way of the world. Please note that most, or all, of the positive "spin" is retracted later, by former employees who state they were forced to do this as part of their employment!!

VACATION VILLAGE VOYAGES
This is a #SCAM! They (Vacation Village Voyages) present products that are not even available in the website they sell you. Example "PACKAGES" tab that goes to Not Available. You can rent a car or a vacant timeshare for the same or less than the amount they con you into during the 3 hour or more presentation. You can go on the same public car, hotel, airline websites they use for less than the $$$$$$ you waste on their program. #BEWARE!
