They hit my checking account
Does vanru work with anyone other than department of education student loans? Because they are calling 10-20 times a day and I do not have any student loan.

Just to follow-up on my previous complaint I registered on here March 10th, 2011. I called the corporate number, refused to send them any money, and wrote a dispute letter that I researched online for the wording, and have not heard from them since. Here's some info I recieved from my state board of financial aid. If Van Ru claims that they are calling about a student loan you can visit this site to find out WHO actually is owed for your loans at this time. www.nslds.ed.gov
If you don't recall your pin for the fafsa, then you can request at this site also. Or you can call this number 800 433 3243 and they can tell you if Van Ru has a right to collections toward your student loans.
By the way, the people at my state financial board here in Louisiana says they have never heard of this group at all related to collections.
