they'll charge you $90 a month and you won't know
They send an ad on facebook to try a sample of their cream for 4.98 shipping. You click "terms and conditions." Who reads this legalese? Come to find out when you get your credit card bill you've been charged 89.00. You call them. You find out that in the "terms and conditions" you agreed that if you do not notify them to cancel within 14 days of ordering (not receipt of the half-ounce jar) you are signed up for $95 a month subscription to this product. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

additional info on Velaire
I talked to them. The person said, no I cannot return the product. I called my credit card company. They said they cannot remove the first $89 but they will not accept further charges from them. I called Velaire back. They said ok, my subscription is canceled. The credit card person said he himself gets calls on this type of thing every day, not only about Velaire, about numerous similar scams. My daughter told me, it's already a known thing. So please everybody, do not order samples of cosmetics. .

Velaire Scam
I ordered samples via the Mark Levin Radio Show on ad in their site. Mark Levin is completely ethical, but does not realize he is advertising for Velaire, a very unethical company. I ordered samples on this site and paid $4.95 and $3.95 for them. Next thing I knew I had a charge on my bank account of $89.71, apparently a monthly recurring charge!! I called them, and they told me they do not sell samples and could only cancel future shipments. I am working with my bank on dispute on this charge. I never noticed anything on the site that indicated I would e signing up for this...the writing must have been tiny, or put in a ton of writing where they know people do not notice this. I am in the personal care industry, and cannot believe that scams like this come from this company.
What a shame! PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE I DID.

Velaire's Ordering procedures are a scam
Velaire's customer service is certainly NOT service oriented. Their original website which I used to order my sample, was not conducive to scrolling down to the tiny print regarding the two week trial period. When I called the company, I was told that they would give me a discount of the 89.71 price to 50 dollars. I told them that since I did not know the ingredients, I would have to pass and asked for my money back--which i never authorized. I have in writing that they would return my money but that never happened and so I had to dispute the purchase. Then once I disputed it, they told me that they could not return my money since they didn't want to get a bad reputation if they should lose. After many months, Visa sided with Velaire, most probably my bank did not pass on all the proper documention to them. So I opened up the dispute and again lost. Visa saw their new website which had the trial period marked in much bigger trype. I was told by my bank that there are calims against Velaire all over Arizona.
Warning: do not buy the sample from Velaire!!! It is a fraudulent company that promises to work with you but never intends to do so!!!!!
