I'm afraid they do seem shady
I ordered from Vitamins Because because their rates seemed pretty incredible. However, I was a little wary the quality of their website does not instill confidence. But I still ordered. A few days later I called the company and was told they make the vitamins at the time of order. Hmmmm....???? The man also told me that all their products are non-GMO, but the bottle labels do not make that statement. And yes, all the different vitamins taste and look alike.... Hmmmm....
I have requested to return the vitamins--wish me luck.

About the capsules
I bought quite a few of Vitamins Because products. I too began to wonder at all the white capsules, especially on products you KNOW are supposed to be a different color, such as B complex is always a yellow/orange color as is curcumin from turmeric. I actually called to ask them why their b complex was white. While I was waiting on the line I was looking at the B complex bottle. I noticed a light orange ring around the inside of the cap. Hmmm? I opened a capsule and voila!! It was an opaque white gelatin capsule filled with a brilliant orange powder. I then did the same to my curcumin. It also was yellow. Then I checked my astaxzanthin. A dark red powder was inside.
Wow, 3 for 3 concerns immediately mitigated. Heck they could even say the opaque white capsules help minimize light exposure of the product, because numerous nutrients are degraded by light exposure. I still have some concerns, but no as bad as before I realized they were using opaque white capsules for their products.
