overcharge
I received unknown calls and I wanted to stop it. I called to my phone company which was wakanetwork.com and asked them to block the number from which I received calls. They asked me $100 for this service!! Any other company does it for free!!
People, be careful dealing with them!

The service is awful!
Wakanetwork.com change their phone numbers very often so that no one could call them, and they also charge you $10 if you do.

wakanetwork
wakanetwork calls saying you filled out a survey and they want to give you free gas and other coupons, but you had to fill out information on their website, name, address and credit card number. I stopped at the credit card which I won't give out due to the economy and too many scams. The number called from was, 578-121-8324. The person was very pushy.

Won't let me cancel the account
I wanted to cancel everything with this company, but when I called them, they made me wait for half and hour and then hung up. The e-mails that I sent them can not be delivered. I suppose because of a fake address.

liars and thieves
I will never recommend this company to anyone! Received their gift card for $50 but I could use their service just for $10. Another $40 they took as additional charged which is ridiculous! I've never seen something like this before! Moreover, ;later I found several unauthorised charges made my them and they never refunded me money they illegally charged!

Scam
Received a phone call from www.wakanetwork.com phone number 1-877-332-1490. Offering 100.00 gas voucher along with a 10.00 gift card from Walmart...I was told by the representative, a fee of 2.99 would be assessed to my debit card for belonging to this premium club, and to recieve all as stated above, she said a email would be sent out in the next 10 minuts after call,She recommended to me, once I receive the email I could look things over and she suggested if I am not happy with what they had to offer to call and cancel right away, and I would still recieve the offers she did discuss with me. That was at 7:06 PM, checked email numerous times, and by 9:15 PM, still no email. Know I am wondering after I gave her my credit card number, no email, it was time to call them and find out what is going on, I called at 9:20 PM, I was told give it till tomorrow morning, so I did that check email at 10:00 AM today and still no email, so I called again stating I still had not recieved the email that was promised by the representative, and explained I want to cancel this order at aspects. She came back and asked why, I again explained why, and she came back and said my $2.99 has now been credited to my account, I asked for a confirmation number and she gave me one. Beware...there is no such thing as live chat, and if you email them from their website, as error occurs everytime..

Just wanted to share the phone number I have, and when you do cancel ASK for the confirmation number.....1-877-332-1490..You can also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau online. Once you do cancel check you banking statements just in case there are charges from this company..Good Luck everyone, I wish I would have checked this site out before jumping on a wagon that sounded like a great deal...

wakanetwork.com
I was told on December 15,2012 I would receive coupons by email, plus get other info. in mail after filling out info. Five days later I am still waiting for such. I called ID no. on my phone. The Sylvia I talked to told me when I talked to her she was in Daytona, FL. but the number is an Alabama number! She hung up on me when I told her I needed membership cancelled. I called the 1-877-332-1490 number on the 15th also and an "Angela" supposedly CANCELED for me and gave me a confirmation number for such. I certainly hope it is as I am too old and do not have the funds to be "SCAMMED" which I feel that I have! I was a FOOL to fall for this deal! I think reps for this company -- if there is such --should be honest and forthright and not bring disgrace to co. Please let me know how to make certain that I will have no payments made, or who to contact to help me! Thanks!

I stopped at the credit card which I won't give out due to the scam. calls don't get answered and they want to charge your credit card more than the shipping.

Raid on a call center
Call center raided by cops in Cebu for selling bogus gift cards to Americans
By Chito O. Aragon

CEBU CITY, Philippines—Police raided an outbound call center company at the Cebu Business Park in Cebu City Thursday on suspicion that it duped Americans into buying bogus gift cards.
But Glenn Villariza, lawyer of Interface Techno-Phil Inc. located on the second floor of Keppel Building, denied the company was engaged in illegal activity. “As far as I know, their operation was legal,” he said.
Operatives of the Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) seized more than 300 computers and invited for questioning almost 100 employees who were later released.
Senior Inspector Michael Virtudazo, chief of ACG in Central Visayas ([email protected]), said the owners and officers of the call center company, which had been operating for three years, would be charged with violation of Republic Act 8484, an act regulating the issuance and use of access devices and prohibiting fraudulent acts.
The raid was done on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Ramon Daomilas Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 11.
Virtudazo, chief of ACG in Central Visayas, said the operation stemmed from the tip received by five employees of the company that Interface Techno-Phil was duping their customers.
Two of these employees signed an affidavit that convinced the judge to issue a search warrant, said Virtudazo.
He said the call center agents would call customers in the US and ask them to buy a registration card, which would cost $2.99 excluding processing fees in exchange for $100 gift card vouchers for all gasoline stations in the US, gift cards exclusive for Wallmark Grocery, and other freebies.
After the customers bought the cards through credit cards, the call center agents would no longer communicate with them.
During questioning, some agents complained that they only received P150 a day in wage. Regular employees allegedly didn’t have SSS and Pag-Ibig coverage.
