recent request for a account
I just got the same letter, it stated I had applied for a Bill Me Later account through Express Scripts and the only number to contact is through Equifax, not WebBank, Bill Me Later, or Express Scripts. It all seems like a scam to scare people into buying a credit report to see what activity has occurred. Both WebBank and Bill Me Later (part of Paypal) should be reported for this.

recent request for a account
I also received this mysterious letter that reeks some sort of deceitful ploy. My 80 year old mother received one also, that says the same thing. I have never used paypal or bill me later, nor has my mother. I did respond by letter and am interested to see what sort of response I get. This could be quite an adventure. Here we go!
Good luck all!

Recent request for a account
My husband received the same letter stating he applied for a "bill me later" option through a copy "NewEgg" for over $1,000.00. He has never applied or gone to any site. How can they pull a credit report without a SS#? Only contact info is for the credit reporting company Equifax. This is scary.

Fradulant purchases on my billmelater account
I have had a billmelater account for almost a year now and I have really enjoyed having it because I do alot of internet shopping. I started with a $500.00 credit limit and I was gradually increased to $2500.00 in October. I purchased a twin bed and mattress for my daughter on walmart.com on 10-31-12. On 11-17-12 someone hacked into my walmart.com account and made 2 fraudulent purchases of $100.00 each which were charged to my billmelater account. I discovered this today when I tried to purchase christmas presents on wlamart.com and was declined. I immediately called billmelater and walmart.com and reported this activity. I was told that it will be investigated and I will not be able to ever use my billmelater account again nor will I ever be able to get a new one because of the nature of the account being the last 4 digits of my social security number and birthdate. I am very disappointed and was in tears talking to Derek at customer service about this calamity. I have to suffer because of theives. I think your company better find a way to protect their customers or you will end up having none.
