Damaged flowers & terrible Customer Service

I received a large boxed gift set (bouquet, vase & Laura Secord Fudge) today from my son through your company. When I opened the box, the flowers were ALL bent almost in half. Every single bloom was pointed directly to the floor. It looked as if whomever had boxed them up felt they did not have enough space for the vase and the long-stemmed flowers.....so they just bent the entire bunch! This was totally unnecessary as they could have simply inserted the flower stems into the vase, thus leaving more space at the top of the box for the flowers! I tried to contact Bloomex Online chat representative....this person, Liliane, was basically useless, did not offer any apology, replied to my questions with one or two-worded answers, if anything. She just repeated "Send photos to [email protected]". Twice I asked her where these flowers were packaged before being sent to my address......she refused to answer and then abruptly ended our conversation! I waited 10 minutes to see if she would try to get back to me....not so....then I tried the online chat feature again, and AGAIN I got "Liliane"! I asked her why we were disconnected in our previous chat.....quickly our conversation was again ended by her!
I have sent pics of my flowers in the box, as they arrived and also after I tried to arrange them in the vase.....hopeless. I have sent a copy of the chat transcript with the "ever-so-helpful Liliane" to Bloomex.ca managers. Now I will try to reach them by phone. I will post any further updates, good or bad. So far my experience with this company has been nothing but negative!
