Horrible Windows
Window World of Atlanta has installed 4 of my rental properties and multiple properties of my clients. I am a realtor so I recommend them daily, not once out of the 12+ jobs from window world, have I had or recieved a complaint. They are a WONDERFUL people to do business with. I recommend contacting their office for any issues and they will handle them.

Horrible Windows
We have been contacted by former installers of Window World Pittsburgh seeking employment. The installer told us that when windows were measured wrong, which happens often at Window World, the installer is told to make it fit. Window World pays their installers $25.00 per window. Most window dealers here in Pittsburgh pay $80.00 to $100.00 per window. Window World advertises any size double hung for $189.00. What they fail to mention is the additional charges. The $189.00 window has $11.00 shipping and handling added on at the beginning. They charge $65.00 for aluminum trim, $79.00 for Low-E glass and then add $150.00 for an assurance fee. Do the math 1 window with low-e glass and aluminum trim costs $494.00. Why they ever let this company back into the Better Business Bureau is beyond my pay grade.

Window World Rip off
I had the same experience recently. Advertise $189 per window plus $11 shipping and handling plus $150 "assurance fee" (what is this complete nonsense?) plus $79 per window for a $2 aluminum cap. Wow....unbelievable!!!!! Once the salesman lies to me...that is it...He just lost another sale.

Total Rip-Off, Unqualified Installers, Apalling Craftsmanship, Mediocre Windows
Installed 3 windows on my townhouse several years ago. 2 missed install appointments with no call. Called the supplied contact number at the showroom, passed to Mr Moran and was told they would be there at the next appointment. Showed up 3 hours late, destroyed the wallboard around every window they installed, used aluminum flashing bent on a 90 degree angle to "cap" the windows, then hammered my alum siding flat so the flashing fits flat. Installer told me this is how "they" told us to do it (referring to the owners). It rained the next day and every window poured water into my house, had to file an eventual insurance claiom and was denied due to the pictures I gave them of the window install - they thought I installed the windows myself.
When the install was completed, I was embarrassed to have the windows on my house. I could see daylight from inside my house all around the edge of the windows, spent $400.00 fixing the resulting water and plaster damage due to their lack of repsonse to my complaints.
Called and tried to speak with the Morans and no response, eventually called Coporate. They wer eobviously not happy and within a day did get a call from the senior Moran telling me it will be taken care of - new guys arrive, told me they thought I installed the myself due to the poor install. Told me they were told by Pat Moran to just fix the capping to "shut him up" but when they got there, told me they had ot come back tomorrow bc the windows needed pulled out and reinstalled.
Fast forward to the senior Moran telling me that he would comp a good deal of the costs incurred - total lie. I eventually complaned to BBB and senior Moran actually called me screaming at me over the phone and said I'd not get a penny from him bc I filed the complaint. I should have sued just to get him to "shut-up". I will be happy to send anyone pictures of the install, feel free to contact me.
Bought the Low-E and argon at a premium and oculd feel huge amounts of heat coming through the window. Low-E glazing degraded within a year. Sure you can stand on a window, and, yes, you do HIDE behind your windows.
