Scam
I was contacted by Winners readers Service and offered a supposedly great deal on some magagzines, little did I know I would not be able to cancel for 5 years which I had never been told and then to make matters worse it would end up costing me almost $900.00 !!! And if that wasnt bad enough half the time I dont even get the magazines. So I refused to pay them because I wasnt recieving these magazines and one day recieved a call from a man at theyre office who proceeded to threaten me with a law suit and told me if I wanted to defend myself against them in this law suit I would have to fly to Arizona, ( Which was a fat lie) anyways by the end of the conversation I was so freaked out by the possibility of a law suit that I ended up faxing him all my bank info ( stupid) but he told me if I didnt comply that day that he could longer help me and my husband would be sued and probably have his wages garnished, come to find out after a helpful conversation with the better buisness bureau that these people are liers and that it was illegal for him to lie in order to collect a debt and that the company had a "F" rating with the better buisness bureau. So buyers beware I will Never make a mistake like that one again!!

pay pay pay but where are all the magazines I'm suppose to be getting?
I have been trying to get out from under these people for a few years! Every time I think I have "paid them off' they find some new reason why I still need to send them money. I was conned into 'extending ' my service ( my fault, should have known better) . Quote them: "The magazine package we are sending you is FREE, except... I have to help defray the cost of shipping for $20.50 a month. Right now I get : Seventeen ( every so often) Women's Health ( just was told this one was my last issue unless I renew subscription. What subscription? I thought these were FREE and I only pay part of shipping cost) And how can that make them free? And when they call to offer you these "extensions ' and I say "no" I'm told I still owe them so many years or months of payments if I don't extend.I now have a 'deal' with them to pay off this mess by Nov. , 2012, but I don't trust them not to pull something else.. Who knows how many hundreds of my dollars they have gotten and I may have received 10 magazines over the years.

Harassment and fraud
I have been harassed by this so called company. I have been receiving magazines which I never ordered, and then began to receive bills for them. When I called and asked what was going on, the man on the phone said I had to pay the bills. I told him that I never ordered anything from them, and he threatened me with a recorded tape that he had of me making the order. He played the tape, and it was clear that it is not my voice. But he still insisted that I had to pay him. The bills which I received were printed on cheap paper. This is definitely a scam, and I’m not going to fall for it.

magazines
The Winner Readers, are not a winner with me, They would say that I qualified for a bonus. The bonus that they tell me is that I can get more magazine, for the same price as the ones I'm getting, to me that is not a bonus. A bonus should be something like a gift, or something that is, totally free, without any cost. Winners Readers are very good at getting you to order more magazines.
