Hotel Bargains

This company is disgusting I stupidly purchased the vouchers under the pretence that If i bought two meals I would receive free accommodation what a load of rubbish. none of the accommodation caters for family's as I was told over the phone as if I am going to put my young children in another room on there own how ridiculous. Being a single mother of 4 children who can never take my children on holidays I believed the lies and got scammed big time. So I lost out on $240 that I could of put towards a holiday for us but instead got 20 useless vouchers instead. Hopefully they will be shut down I would love 60 minutes to run a story on them. When I tried to call them it took months to get through. I tried ti email but when you press that option on the site it doesn't do anything these people pray on people who cannot afford holidays under normal circumstances they will come undone. Anyway I am going through department of fair trading waiting to get my money back from the scammers. i have one word for you hotel Bargains ... Karma.

Hotel Bargains Queensland marketing team misleading the consumers

Hotel Bargains Queensland marketing team misleading the consumers.
I received my membership info 10 days after purchase. So, I didn’t have any chance to check their deals. When I checked Hotelbargain deals, I really surprised as their deals are all more expensive than any other deals. So, I was really confused why I need Hotelbargain vouchers. It would be much cheaper if I purchased it from other booking websites (hotel.com, booking.com) or even from the hotel itself!!! I was still within my 10 business day cooling off period. I called them and asked for cancellation. But the customer service was really rude and never try to resolve my problem and told me NOT 10 business days and my claim is not correct (No help at all!!!) . I am going to call Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) on 1300 302 502 and Customer affair Queensland to open this case for further investigation. Please do so if you are in same situation

Hotel Bargains Scam

We had same situation as well. Hotel Bargains Queensland marketing team misled us and gave us info which was not correct at all. They normally send you info after cooling-off period so you don’t have time to check. So be aware !!! If you have already did and not happy, Report it to the ACCC Infocentre on 1300 302 502 or visit the report a scam page on SCAMwatch

Scam

We had same situataion and although we were told that Hotelbargain can give us a good family deal, we couldn't find any deals to take our two kids as they didn't have any deals for four people.

Beware, scam, Cheats, rude

Super scam - I received a couple of calls from these guys. They are not even located in Southport (as they claim). They expect us to believe they are based in Australia. lol... They talk fast and very smartly try to take our credit card details. Not sure how many Australian residents have fallen for this silly game of theirs. They say the same story to all - to check out their ABN number and ASIC and all. I called up a couple of hotels listed in their website. And they have not even heard about a company called Hotel Bargain and neither do they offer rooms at such unbelievable rates. Please don't fall into their trap.

Ripoff hotel

Stayed at a "nice" very overpriced hotel was ok to begin with except small things started to happen air con and stove wouldnt work maid knocked my products off the tables, we signed an agreement with them stateing we would not smoke in the room which we didn't our clothes probably smelled, they had. I proof whatsoever were just trying to make a quick $$ upon departure they chafed us an extra $250 for " the room smelling of smoke" I had already spent $700 for 4 nights They promised also upon departure that they would not charge us but the moment we left they did, I just don't want this to happen to anyone else where hotels think they can make a quick buck off hard workers, after all there was no proof and this IS my money not theirs.

Please do not fall for these scammers. There is no such thing as free .These are overseas telemarketers with a base in Australia and will try every possible way to rip the innocent people. Please call the bank for which they give the details and get the bank and police involved and try get them at their first contact.we did not call their bank at that time and was scammed.

hotelbartgains

i have had 6 attemps to tried to book one particular hotel, all different dates and all have declined.
So i went to another website(Wotiff) and all those dates appeared available.i have been able to book the exact same room
via this site for a date i was previously declined using hotelbargains.i ended up paying $30.00 more then what hotelbargains advertised it would be available for.i am annoyed, because there is some form of a scam there,as the room was available but not to me via hotelbargains.
Maybe the hotels dont want to do business with them for some reason,if so they should request there hotel be removed from the current listing...just my thoughts...!
i will enjoy my weekend away even at the higher cost...!
i would like to hear from others if this has happened to them also....cheers.

Scam scam scam

This Hotel Bargains deals are nothing but a scam. They tell you lies and then after they get your money, they say that they have listened to the recording of the telephone call of when you signed up, and you were told the correct information. This is lies lies lies. They take everyones money under false pretences. Keep your money and dont go anywhere near Hotel Bargains. I lost $249 and so did my brother, and I am so annoyed with myself for being so gullible in believing their lies

Fraud, Sham, Dishonesty

Hotels2go, Bargain Breaks, Sales PARADIGM, Sensational Stays, Freedom Escapes, Lance Martin, Caroline Esmond -- they are all one and the same - all shams and unethical, they fail dismally one business after another - they are bankrupt, corrupt, big liars and very dishonest -- they are not to be trusted - they are scheming to take your money at all times. Not only that, they treat their staff horribly - my brother worked briefly with them in southport and never got paid his entitlements when he resigned - they need to be reported to the ombudsmen, Australian Tax Office, Fair Trading, the police and they belong only in one place - jail !!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH ANY OF THESE COMPANIES OR PERSONS OR YOU WIL LIVE TO REGRET IT !!!!!

S C A M 100%

I wish I would never have to deal with this Company again, very rude, pushy, dishonest, RIP off. Complained to supervisor, of course, she is the worse one of all of them. Asked her to take my name off their records and contacts, she said that is impossible because we have signed for two years and names will be taken off after two years. I wish we knew that before handing them my credit card details. Can't get through to call them to make a booking, when finally did after few days, they took my details and said someone will call me within 48 hours to arrange booking. Still waiting for their call after 5 days. There was only one hotel doing "meal deal" on Gold Coast while they left me under the impression that every hotel is doing this deal when they asked me to sign in. PLEASE DONT FALL TO THIS SCAM LIKE I DID

Hotel Bargains

I were promised vouchers for 35 nights at a choice of 450 hotels across Australia of New Zealand providing I buy at least one meal at the hotel for the price of $359.00. When the vouchers were received it was $10.00 discount coupons on reservations.
What I got was nothing what was promised to us. Upon receipt of the vouchers I tried contacting the telephone number given to me and are now unable to contact them via telephone. I am extremely angry at the misrepresentation and dishonesty of these people.

Hotel Bargains

It would appear Hotel Bargains ars not accessible by telephone, when I try the contacts on the web page it simply doesn't t work. They have no email address and a Post office box in Southport, which I m sure when t make enquiries will get no response. I still had over $200.00 of vouchers to use? I was sucked in I did use it once in Newcastle and once in Sydney but defiantly not worth the hassle.

extra charges to your account

Beware of the false advertisement, and if you dont, be ready for extra fees to be charged to your debit/credit card for the "reservation". This is not a deal in any way. They take your money and then are rude and wont give it back when confronted with their unauthorized charges to your checking/debit/credit cards. Stay clear of this place

Lance Martin, Girish and Latha

These 3 guys are big time cheaters. Lance from Australia prepares the plan and Girish (who is dumb and wife's pet, by the way Latha and Girsh are wife and husband) and Latha from India, executes his plan. They make money cheating other peoples hard earned money and also do not pay their employees (who fell in to the trap of this couple). Wish someone could take this issue with concerned officials/government and shut this company and put these cheaters behind the bars. GOD will not forgive them. They are making money cheating thousands of poor peoples hard earned money. They may also sell your personal info if someone offers them more money. BEWARE OF THESE RIPPERS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
