False Advertising
I was going to buy a $99 Groupon, as a Christmas gift. The Groupon was for lipo laser, as a weight loss (non-invasive). The offer sounded too good to be true, plus it mentioned the staff being certified by Yolo Medical. Thank you for this article--people need to stay away from things that appear too good to be true. Thanks!

Fraudulent Representation and no FDA Approval
The company is a scam run by scammers. That's the bottom line. They take "measurements" of your body, wrap you in very tight elastic bands, apply a laser led paddles to your skin for 10 minutes, the retake your measurements before your body has a chance to re-expand from the very tightly wrapped elastic bands. Get the picture? Tightly wrapped elastic bands around your middle? Just go to the drug store and get some medical elastic wrap for sprained ankles and wrists. Wrap it very tightly around your middle for 10 minutes or more, take it off and yes, you will appear to be slightly thinner.
That farce of a company actually tells you, "Well, you must exercise and eat right or your inch reduction will not last". No kidding. If you end up losing actual fat and weight, it will not be from their bogus instrument, but from your diet and exercise.
Best to avoid this company and anything that is associated with their name. They stole their company name from a bar in Ft. Lauderdale and never got USA FDA approval for their product, but told everyone they were getting it. Clinics actually using this Laser may be violating US Law. Now I understand they are no longer selling in the USA, as they are a Canadian Company and may have lost US Distribution on this bogus product, but beware. These scam deals to lose weight by their medical laser still exist. Take that wasted money and put it toward decent lean food and some good running shoes and a Gym membership. You will actually lose meaningful weight, gain muscle, and not have given your hard earned money to dishonest scammers.
