False Information
Unfortunately many of you will be reading this after you have signed a contract with Absolute and given them a payment as a deposit for the amount due. This will be because your 90 minute demo turned into a 5 hour marathon and you really just wanted to get on with your holiday. If you have paid a deposit on your credit card, contact your bank and cancel the transaction...and if you have agreed for Absolute to take out further funds then cancel your credit card. Despite what you hear there is a 7 day cooling off period in Thailand and a 10 day cooling off period given by both Visa and Mastercard. Absolute will deny this but deal with your bank. Send a registered letter to Absolute and their trustee that you are cancelling the agreement under the cooling off period. You will receive threats from Absolute advising you that you have stolen anything that you have been given from them and you will be arrested etc. These are just intimidation tactics that they use, and have used for anyone who has disputed their contract. If you are still in the country advise the local Police and get acknowledgement from them of your complaint. Give all the details to your bank and avoid dealing with Absolute, just deal with your bank who will handle the dispute for you. You are the banks customer and they do not want you to be an unhappy customer. It will take some time but it worked for us and we lost nothing other than time. Also, if you know anyone who is travelling to places where Absolute and any other similar organisations like them, make sure you advise them to walk away from anyone who is offering them a great deal.

Absolute Destinations, Q Signature Resort
I too have just returned to NZ after signing up with Absolute only to research online and hear NUMEROUS accounts of unhappy customers. I feel confused, embarrassed and gutted. We truly thought we were investing in the future holiday happiness of our new family and now here we are $4500 out of pocket, $6500 left still to pay wondering what the hell we are going to do. We have sought legal advice and cancelled our credit card. Visa are currently trying to trace the withdrawals to see if they can get it reimbursed but Im not holding my breath. I received an email today from Irene in Koh Samui saying our next payment is due even though we said we wanted to cancel. She said there is no cancellation clause and therefore we have to keep paying! We have 2 young babies, are trying to build a new home and things are very tight, we knew we would have to make huge sacrifices to become members but were prepared to do so when we thought it was legit. We DEF cannot afford to spend thousands on something we dont get any value back from. I know it is our fault being suckered into this but I was on my first holiday away with my husband, just the 2 of us, we were totally blindsided and naive and I just want to warn others out there not to be so convinced of something without doing your homework. I would have researched online but they kept us in a presentation from 9am-1pm, several salespeople putting the pressure on, then once we finally caved just so we could leave the room, they had a car come around and drive us to another office where we had to sign documents straight away! There was no time to talk, discuss it, research it or get any independant legal advice. I am beyond stressed trying to figure out what to do and just want our money back. If we cant get it and they keep chasing us for the rest I am launching a FULL SCALE attack on them via social media and online sites. I have a travel blog, use Facebook and Twitter constantly and create websites for a job so I will have no choice but to use the skills & experience I have to try and warn off others. If I cant get a happy resolution I just hope I can help others not go through this as well! I would love to hear from anyone who might have advice or their own stories to share, perhaps strength in numbers may achieve some results!
The worst part is the rest of the holiday was magical and now this has tainted it, everytime I think about our trip I feel sick. : (

False Information
My wife and 2 kids went to Phuket for a holiday with Absolute Vacation Club.
We were meant to be staying at a beautiful resort on a private Island.
When we arrived in Phuket there was no one at the Airport as promised, so we took a taxi at our expense. When we arrived at Absolute they said that the Island had no water and no electricity, so we had to stay in the Sea Pearl Hotel an absolute shi# hole.
We later went over to the Village Coconut Island were we was greeted in a very profession manner and saw for ourselves wat a beautiful place .
My advise to any one who has purchased with Absolute do not listen to their cock and ball story go and check the Village Coconut Island, they will treat you with the holiday of a life time so much so we took them up on there wonderful Vacation club.
Please don't go to Absolute or listen to any of there lies.
The Village Coconut Island all day all Year.
Thanks again.
