Politically driven trash show
On 1/8/19 Steve Harvey flew his true political and racist color's on today's airing of Family Feud,
Steve asked" What would a dog do after seeing Donald Trumpd hair".
I would guess tomorrows show will be, "What would a dog do after seeing Michelle Obama's buck teeth"

My family loves watching Family Feud and even play the board game, until tonight's episode. The show airing on 1/8/19 had a question : what would your dog do if it saw Donald Trump's hair? What kind of question is that? Harvey and the contestants were nothing but rude and disrespectful. The way people treat any one that has the hard job of president should never be so childish and rude. We couldn't even believe it was a question. We are done watching Family Feud. Why do people think they need to push politics down everyone's throats?? I hope everyone that saw this show and found it ridiculous and offensive stops watching it. Producers should know better than letting their derangement syndrome get in the way of a fun game.

Respect
I have been a fan of Family Feud since the days of Richard Dawson. Love the show! Love Steve Harvey BUT...the last show I watched was disgraceful and promoted the producers' political biases. The questions was "What would you do if you met Donald Trump (PRESIDENT TRUMP) the contestants proceeded to bash our duly elected president. This is totally unacceptable. Let me stop right here and tell you I am not a Republican, I am an Indepent Constitution voter.
This show shows children and all viewers to disrespect our country's duly elected officials. It is not funny. Our country has degenerated into hateful displays. If you don'tlike the officials elected, get to the polls and vote for someone else.
Other countries see us mocking ourselves; what can we expect them to do?
Grow up producers; this is not junior high. I quit watching Family as of now and I am sad to do it.

I thought it was just me!
I started noticing how Steve Harvey tells certain families when they lose 'Y'all make me proud' and 'Y'all look good on TV'. It does seem like he only says that to certain families, but I thought maybe it was just me, but I see some of the other comments on here are saying the same thing! I'm just curious why he makes those comments only to certain families. Overall, I think he is funny, but he does like to use curse words often, even though it is FAMILY Feud.

Screamers
We watch Family Feud and it is very irritating when the contestants scream! When there are screamers we turn the channel until there is a family playing who don’t have family members who scream and squeal at every answer. The producers need to tell contestants not to scream. We are embarrassed at some of the questions and answers.....It used to be a family show. I would not watch this show with my grandchildren.

Family Feud and Steve Harvey needs some sensitivity training
The questions have gotten questionable and sometimes crude. Steve Harvey plays up the crude, drags it on, laughs at his own jokes too much and insults contestants by calling them stupid and telling them to shut up. On 1-31-19 at 3pm for example the first question was "Tell me a mean name Kermit might call Miss Piggy when they're having a fight." What a great why to teach our kids to bully by name calling. Next the question was where do you do take off your clothes (suggestive). Regina said slip and slid with Mr Wiggle. Harvey spent 3 1/2 minutes embarrassing her. He said he called his Russell the wonder muscle. When he was younger he called it notorious BIG, just Notorious for short. All this time everyone was laughing at her. Shame on you Mr Harvey.Clean it up and rein in Mr Harvey please.

Discrepancy
Steve skipped the girl on the end during the episode aired on 11Feb18. The 4th lady answered the question then he skipped to the first person instead of the 5th person.

Judges?
I've been watching family feud for years and up until the latest shows with Steve Harvey as host I've noticed that when start with the question and when one slaps the buzzer first you shouldn't be allowed to answer after the buzzer/ strike. It shows that an African American person can answer way after the buzz but an Caucasian person isn't allowed to answer after the buzz. Anytime the strike/buzz goes off you don't get to answer that's the rules and always been for many years. If anyone actually watches the show they would know it's the judges decision on if get to answer after buzz or not it's not Steve Harvey. So I would highly recommend the producers of the show take a look at most of episodes and see for them self's on what's going on before myself or someone else files a lawsuit against the show.

Hodges Family 2 18 14
Why did the Hodges on episode 122 on 2 17 14 lost to the Allen family who won 5 games in a row and won the car. But on 2 18 14 the Hodges family was back one the feud again after losing to the Allen Family. This is very odd. The Allen Family is White and The Hodges are Black. I don't know if that has anything to with it or not. But I can tell The Allen Family won 5 in a row and the next day the Hodges were back in the same clothes. Their was no mention of a mistake being made in the previously show against the Allen's. And this episode the Hodges beat the Hoover family who is white. Seems like a theme going on here.

CAN'T UNDERSTAND
I find it very hard to understand Steve Harvey when he talks. I would think that a game show host would be required to clearly speak the English language, instead of slurring out unfamiliar words. He speaks in a "black dialect" . Again, I would think he would be required to speak clearly and intelligently, that's his job. exp. "We have a goo show today" ...and many more.

Love the show but...
I love the Family Feud and watch it faithfully. I do believe that the questions lend themselves to sexual content which is inappropriate for persons under 17. I was scheduled to audition as a family contestant and declined to do so for fear that the questions would be too embarrassing. I know that Harvey does not pick the questions, but I think the writers tailor them to his comedic background to boost ratings.
I don't know if he prefers Black contestants or if they just make good straight people for his jokes (because they get them)...better writers is what the show needs. And they also need to raise the pot to $25,000...$20,000 after taxes is not much money for five people. Make it worth their while.

@BlackBart: Seriously? Damn right Steve Harvey is RACIST! He shows more excitement for Black winners than White winners. He's more empathetic when a Black Family loses. He wastes time talking & allowing black family more time to think about answers. He takes extra time to explain "Step by Step" details before Black Families play for "Big Money". When a Black Family loses he always takes time to personally tell them how sorry he is before heading over to the winning White Family. Just one of THOUSANDS of examples was the episode where the Black Lady kept trying to give the same answer that had already been given... remember the "Tell me another way people say Mother" (MOMMY. Mommie, MAMA, NA-NA, Nana, Nanny) episode? He gave her at least 5 or more chances to give different answers. He wasted more time doing a dance and singing a song while the audience joined in..... Allowing her more time, in hopes that she would come up with a correct answer. Yes, Steve Harvey is RACIST! And anyone who cannot see that is simply blind or VERY NAIVE! And to you "BlackBart", No, Steve Harvey is NOT a Comedian! He's repeats the same crap over & over and it's not funny! A REAL Comedian constantly delivers new material to keep his act fresh, and his audience laughing. Steve Harvey is making a poor, pathetic, Stale, Boring attempt at being funny. He's a Vulgar, Self Centered, egotistical, Racist! Oh, and BTW @BlackBart, the reason 60% of prisoners are Black is because they commit more crimes, therefor there are more of them incarcerated. @Timeforachange *AMEN* You spoke the TRUTH!

And trust me when I say we are NOT worried nor do we fear that the "Black Man" may be "LOOKED UP TO AS BETTER" because that will never happen. Why? Because "MOST" Blacks are so damn busy trying to use a past that existed before they were born, to get special treatment that they are not entitled to, and compensation for actions that caused harm to people that are no longer living, due to Slavery & treatment of slaves, when none of us had anything to do with it! You can't have a future because you're stuck living in the shadows of your ancestor's past! Further more, if you studied your history, you would know that the first slaves were WHITE IRISH.... I am WHITE IRISH.... but I don't run around screaming "I'M ENTITLED" because MY ancestors were slaves! I've never owned another human being. I'm sure you've never been bought & sold, or been a slave to a white master either. So why not move on to the present & future? The past cannot be changed, but it can be heavy as hell if you spend your entire life dragging it around with you.

These comments are totally ridiculous. First , the term racist is incorrectly used. If anything it maybe called prejudice. The fact that America has had predominantly all white tv for decades years is unfair. And during those magnificent " make America great again" they could never acknowledge the racism they created. Now here we have a black man on a game show that finally has more black families ( well to do black families at that) and you people want to blantanly cry racism!??!? Just plain sickos!!!!

Family Feud and Buzzing in
I used to like Family Feud. I feel that Steve Harvey favors the black families. The other day I watched the show. Up at the podium were 2 men, one black and one white. The white man buzzed in first, and he was buzzed off immediately. He did not even get a half second to answer. Then another time, with the same contestants, the black man buzzed in first. He was given way more time before the buzzer went off. That had to be a setup. This show has really gone downhill. One thing that really bothers me about Steve Harvey is that when someone answers in an off color way, Steve Harvey acts like he never heard of the off color answer the black person is giving. Come on, now.

I have been reading a lot of the reviews some appear to be racist. I see a couple of problems with the current show. It goes right to the Producers of the show .I put the blame on them because they are after Ratings.It is simple low Ratings and your soon off the air.Family Feud used to be a Family Show but it is no longer a Family Show. What really ticks me off is that Steve Harvey acts sometimes like he is bothered by some of the sexual exploited questions.HE IS NOT. He would not be hosting the show if he was.The show has survived but reading these reviews tells me a lot of people have stopped watching the show. The only way the R Rated questions will stop is by 1 Writing or Calling the station you watch the show on.2 Write the Companies whose products are featured in the commercials.3 If possible if their is a way to reach Steve Harvey either by E-Mail or otherwise contact him.Tell him you have or your producers turned Family Feud into an Adult Program. The old expression comes into play here.Evil will triumph if Good people stand by and do nothing.DO NOT wait for the Show to change by itself it will not.I have no problem with African-American Families competing every Show against Caucasian Families .Their should be more Hispanic and I see very little Asian Families on.The one Asian family I did see won the Car and 40k to boot.Thanks we are all Americans we need to get along.We did not come out of our Mothers Womb as Racists someone influenced us to become that way.

Steve Harvey Criticism
I like Steve Harvey well enough although I certainly don't think he's as funny as HE thinks he is. Lately, however, I've noticed that he seems angry all the time. He constantly rebukes the players for what he considers "dumb" answers, and more often than not, they seem embarrassed. He rolls his eyes at them, gets huffy if they don't quickly stand in the correct spot or if they seem too excited (which, I'm pretty sure, is the way the producers encourage them to act). He seems bored and burned out. He has to force himself to smile and play nice. Time to retire, Buddy.

There is NO way this family should EVER have been shown on TV. TARA was the most ARROGANT and BULLYING person I have ever seen on ANY game show. She screams like an idiot when they get an answer right that the other team got wrong. When they win ... she comes out pointing at the family who lost. If you cant get control of your players ... you are going to lose one of your BEST fans.
Had I been a member of your audience, you would have had to throw me out.

How far Family Feud has fallen
Family Feud, once a great program has disintegrated into unwatchable trash. Sometimes it turns into The Gong Show when
Contestants want to “sing”, “play” a musical instrument, or otherwise perform. Then there is the screaming. I know the contestants are supposed to be excited and enthusiastic, but the screaming is over the top! Now to a more serious reason for the decline,namely, the sexually explicit questions. Most families do not want to subject children to that trash especially on a “family friendly” program. If that is the type of show they want to produce,it should be on later at night. Another issues is that most of the time the families are not introduced. In previous versions the host would introduce the family and then the Captain would introduce each family member. As far as Steve Harvey is concerned, he is more interested in getting air time for himself rather than hosting a game show. Obviously, the host is an important element of the game and the personality will come out naturally. The main reason people people tune in is to watch a friendly game not watch an alleged comedian perform. If necessary, a quick story or joke at the beginning of the program would work.I don’t think it is totally fair to criticize Mr. Harvey for using Black slang. But it should not be overdone. I do tend to agree with others who say that Black families get preferential treatment on the show. I have seen where Black families have been given longer to answer a question or given multiple chances to give a correct answer. In addition if a Black family looses to a white family, the host is saddened and sympathetic. When a Black family wins, the host is as excited as is the family. Some of the questions are written or about things that tend to favor Black families.
In a day when race is such a divisive and controversial issue always having a Black family compete against a white family is a questionable practice at best. I am not saying Family Feud should be taken off the air or hire another host. They are free to produce & present the show as they see fit. But I do think the issues so many current and former viewers have presented need to be considered in order to improve the show. I guess I miss the show when the most controversial thing was the host kissing all the female contestants.

Show promotes prejudice and racism
Why always pit blacks against whites? Thought this nation was supposed to be trying to come together .
This show used to be good when Richard Dawson was host. Now it is a shame and disgrace!!!
