Stop this
Tonight (1/17/12) was outrageous. Steve Harvey, who always favors the African American families over the white family, allowed an African American contestant in the final round to get the $20, 000 to retract an answer and then gave him unlimited time (the fellow took about 4 additional outside of the seconds) to come up with an answer. That answer won the family the $20, 000. Without being given the extra time, the chance to retract the bad response and to come up with a second one, they would not have won. I don't begrudge the family, who played a OK game otherwise, but what was allowed was against the rules. I've never seen any other family been permitted to retract an answer and come up with another one OUTSIDE of the 20 second time period. Earlier in the game, Harvey also encouraged another from the African American family to retract an answer and come up with another, which he did. That one was wrong and didn't help the family, but the one that got them the money was simply unfair since other families have not been given special treatment to win. HARVEY IS A RACIST ASS and the producers are as well for allowing it. Imagine if the races had been reversed...

I watch tv with my kids and Family Feud is one of our favorites. We even play it on playstation, x-box and cd! I think it's sad that most of the questions on the tv show are either directly or indirectly related to sex. This cannot just be coincidence! Please do a better job of finding questions to ask without focusing on subjects that I don't like explaining to my 2nd grader. I know that times have changed but I really don't think your target audience is young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who are looking for sex on tv! Thanks! A concerned mom in NC!

sexually explicit messges
Please, please stop it with the sex questions!! We all know the undertone of the questions that are televised and reviewed in our homes. Steve Harvey is a great host, but if he doesn't have any better subject to elaborate on, please, PLEASE get some different questions to use.
I will hardly watch this with my HUSBAND, much less, a child! Thank you for this consideration. About the reversed discrimination,
I don't have an opinion, simply because I do NOT watch the show when the circumstances allowing sexually-charged questions are being submitted.

Crude answers
We have watched and laughed at the Family Feud since Richard Dawson days and when Steve Harvey first took over we thought this is great, fresh and really funny. But the show has taken on a very crude tone lately and my wife and I are hesitant to watch it anymore as we usually have to switch it off part way through due to the crude answers to the surveys. I have always thought that it a sign of ignorance and desperation when humour resorted to crude sexual comments in an effort to be funny. Come on Feud surely you don't need to go there! If you keep it up you have lost a couple of loyal watchers.

KRUEGER / RILEY FAMILY 6-6-2012
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SITTING HERE WATCHING THE GAME THAT AIRED ON 6-6-2012 @ 10PM AND THE "KRUEGER" FAMILY HAD THE QUESTION "NAME A FOOD THAT SHOULD BE THE NATIONAL FOOD OF AMERICA" THEIR SON SAID "FRENCH FRIES" AND STEVE HARVEY SAID ......YOU CAN'T SAY FRENCH FRIES BECAUSE YOUR DAD SAID STEAK AND POTATOES.....SO THE KID CAME BACK WITH SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS WHICH WAS NOT THERE & IT WAS THEIR 3RD STRIKE.
WHEN STEVE WALKED OVER TO THE "RILEY FAMILY" THEIR ANSWER TO "STEAL" THE QUESTION WAS "FRENCH FRIES" STEVE JUST LOOKED AT HER BUT THEN SAID "FRENCH FRIES" AND IT WAS UP ON THE BOARD WHICH ALLOWED THEM TO GET THE POINTS AND THAT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR TO THE KRUEGER FAMILY.......THEY SHOULD HAVE WON THE GAME ......NOT THE RILEY FAMILY.......REVERSE DISCRIMINATION OR WHAT????? THAT WHOLE SCENARIO WAS COMPLETE BULL SH*** ..........
THE KRUEGER FAMILY SHOULD BE INVITED BACK TO PLAY................ BECAUSE THE DAD'S ANSWER WAS ONLY SAID AS "STEAK" NOT THE WAY HE SAID IT........"STEAK & POTATOES" WHEN THE RILEY'S SAID THE SAME ANSWER "FRENCH FRES" FRENCH FRIES/POTATOES WAS UP ON THE BOARD AND THE POINTS WERE AWARDED TO THE "RILEY FAMILY"
I HAVE "NEVER" SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN IN ALL THE YEARS THAT I HAVE WATCHED THIS SHOW AND I FEEL THAT IT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED............THE QUESTION WAS ABOUT MIDWAY THROUGH THE SHOW THAT AIRED AT 10PM & THE QUESTION WAS ASKED @ 10:13 PM ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT JUNE 6, 2012

Steve Harvey is not racist
I was equally upset when the Krueger family lost when they said fries and got an "x" and the opposing family said fries and won. However, I don't believe Steve Harvey was to blame. There are judges off camera that that decide if an answer will be allowed. Harvey even looked off camera and said "she said we can't accept that answer. You can also tell when the opposing family said "French fries" he looked at them like really they just an "x" for that same answer. But then you could tell that he got directions off stage to accept the answer. My husband and I were joking that the Krueger family must have pissed off the producers earlier. All that being said, I saw a black family also get "screwed" and we're invited back a week later. Hopefully we will see the Krueger family on a future episode of family feud.

Too Much Sexual Content
As a child, I loved Family Feud and thought it would be a great family show to watch with my husband and son. That is not the case anymore. It seems like every other question is about sex; this is not family content and will not be watching the show anymore sadly.

Too Much Sexual Content
Just like a previous comment, I too have watched Family Feud since childhood and I think it's ridiculous that just about every question has some sort of sexual connotation. It's disgusting to think that this is the only way we can express ourselves. Is it that the writers/creators are just lazy or do they think that the "Americans" that they are surveying only have one thing on their minds. Either way it's a shame and someone should really do something about it.

Too Much Sexual Content
I, too, have watched Family Feud since childhood. I feel as though they are trying to keep up with the times & target a younger audience by using sex. They are losing many long-time watchers. I feel that this should continue to be a family show, on during the day, & not have all of the sexual innuendos. I was absolutely disgusted by an answer on the board recently that I do not believe could possibly be appropriate for TV. After sharing that with a family member, she informed me that she, too, had recently seen something on the board that was equally disgusting. Is this what Family Feud has come to? In the words of my friend, "It's just one more example of the moral unraveling of the fabric of America".

Family Feud now x rated
Is it me or has this show stepped way over the line, since Harvey took over I've gotten a crash course on sex and sexual devices...almost every show now has to bring not just sex into the question but the devices and sizes of men's "you know what's" into these questions. Way to go Family Feud I thought this was a family game show, what a joke!! Don't get me wrong when it comes to sex - it's a beautiful thing when you are an adult behind closed doors ( there's a time and place for it )...but here in Boston the show aires at 3pm to 4pm just when the 10 year olds are walking through the door from school ... what insane "complete Idiot" thinks it's ok to let kids possibly see this stuff ? No wonder why we have 16 yr olds having kids when we put it in their face on stupid game show's and supposedly Family game shows and all over Tv for that matter. We are creating an age bracket of young mothers who can't even drive let alone get a job worthy of supporting kids with what the "reality costs" are in this day and age for raising kids properly. Seems Family Feud is doing their part in trashing true commonsense values in our Families people.

steve harvey's comments
I enjoy watching family feud with steve harvey, however, I believe he needs to curb derogatory comments to contestants.
For example, i watched a repeat of a game that aired December 24 with the Brown family from Chicago. Steve called a contestant stupid when he responded to a question that asked "name something you wouldn't do again if your wife asked you to." The response was get married. Steve told the guy he was "stupid" and the answer was up on the board.
Many families are already under pressure and these comments could affect their self esteem. Let's use kind words. Thanks.

Steve Harvey favors black families
Steve Harvey! You are not slick! Does the Kreuger family sound familiar to you? French fries? You denied the family that answer but yet let the stupid black family answer with French fries for the win! Grimey ass! Giving the black lazy people the win! Black people don't like to work so they have to hustle for free money! Complete BS! Steve Harvey you suck! I can't believe the producers allow that! Unbelievable!

Family Fued has always been this way
I hate Steve Harvey but don't blame him for how the game is played. There have always been suggestive questions and families coming up with messed up answers. I came here looking for legitimate complaints like how Steve slows the game down to a snail's pace or how he gets upset/shocked over silly answers but I guess you guys are just like him, maybe even worse. Thanks for making me sorta, halfway defend this guy. Now I feel sick.

Why is the competition always african american versus white, and never any asians or latinos. This is an example of ultimate twisted
discrimination, grossly disproportionate to US population ratios.

Invalid Answer accepted
On Thursday, Feb 14, 2013, by the way Steve Harvey comments, you can see he favors the Black Family over the White Family. The Topic statement was, Name a reason why the ex-wife would run into the ex-husband.
The Black Family that was playing which gave the Answer "Rekindle the Relationship" was the wrong Answer, yet the judges gave the credit to the Black Family.
Rekindling a relationship does NOT necessarily mean one is having sex, and Rekindling a Relationship is NOT HAVING CASUAL sex. In fact, casual sex doesn't constitute a relationship and is usually with more than one person, Rekindling a Relationship does not involve casual sex but intiment sex. . Therefore the acceptance of the answer was wrong and constitutes a STRIKE, which in this case did not happen.. Therefore, rules were broken by allowing a wrong answer. I consider this a form of fraud, and staging the game illegally.

Sexual content is not too strong for adults and makes the show funny!
It is up to parents to block the show from their children if they object to the content.
Teens have been getting pregnant for decades and decades. Yup even before Steve
started hosting this show. Parents tend to point the blame anywhere
But at the family unit. Do your job as a parent!

Kruger/Riley family
Same comment on 6/6/12. Show aired again tonight. So unfair......I also agree that he shows favoritism towards black family. My husband noticed it too. He actually told a black family that he was rooting for them when they lost. I promise we will not watch this show again as long as Steve Harvey is the host.

crude
38 M. I have been a fan since childhood. I have been surprised at the amount of crude questions and answers on the show recently. I think it is a misguided attempt to attract the "coveted 18 - 49 demographic". I fall in that category and when I want sexually suggestive or explicit entertainment, there are a few better options than The Family Feud. I watch The Feud when i want to relax with my kids, watch a gameshow and have a few laughs. Besides, it really adds nothing to the fun of the game.

The Love family on Family Feud
I have watched the Love family (a family of black police officers) lose twice yet they keep returning! Plus on the question tonight "What would your last meal be?" (and this is for the steal and win) they answered chocolate cake and the answer on the board was chocolate candy and they gave it to them giving them the win! Is this rigged toward this minority family? Something just isn't right! It always seems to be black vs. white too!

Why is it still called "Family" Feud?
All the comments about too many sex related questions are valid. What family can sit and watch this show without someone being embarrassed? Tonight, there was a question about items flushed down a toilet and Steve Harvey was laughing as a young girl answered the question. Steve Harvey voiced his opposition about atheists on the Tyra Banks show and questioned their "moral barometer". Why doesn't he use that moral barometer on his own show? Oh, I know, he agrees with and apparently enjoys the sexual topics. Can the entertainment industry be funny without being dirty?

Fast Money Round Response by Pope Family 4/22/13
I LOVE Family Feud and absolutely LOVE the new host, Steve Harvey. I believe the judges erred on this show by buzzing one of Teri Pope's answers during the fast money round. Question was something like...Name something that babies love to throw. Teri's answer was "Ball". Judges "buzzed" her because they said that answer is the same as "Rattles", which her partner, Tresa, said earlier. Therefore the answer was not allowed. My question is... when did ball and rattle become the same thing? Later we found out that "Toys" was the number one answer for that question. The Pope family missed out on winning $20,000 because I think a ball is a toy, right? I hope the Pope family will be given an opportunity to return and play again. This was unfair.

Family Feud Questions
I have watched the show for decades but notice in the past year or two, the questions have gotten more and more off color. I somerimes watch it with my grand children and that's a shame the showmhas become so dirty since it's called "FAMILY Feud". I am also embarrassed for many of the contestants who sometimes have their children on the show with the family. Please clean up the show.

Steve Harvey on Family Feud
I got onto this thread by watching Steve play favorites with the black vs the white families. Time and again he allows black families extra time to answer a question but not the white families. He also looks a ton more excited when blacks are winning vs whites. Yeah, I would say this guy is beyond racist.
