Customer Service

I called up Globe customer service yesterday 12/12/11 to renew my plan under gflex 1200. I was informed that my current plan is no longer available and I need to either download my plan to 999 or upgrade to plan 1799. I insist to retain my plan 1200 and pay the remaining cost of iphone 4s but it was explained to me that this plan is no longer offered. Leaving no choice, I decided to upgrade my plan to 1799 (once I claim the iphone 4s by end of december).

TODAY, 12/13/11 4:31PM, I received a text message from 2327 informing me...
" iPhone 4S news: Be the first to get the new iphone 4S. You may get the iphone 4S 16GB BLACK free under your current plan of G-flex 1200. Upon confirmation, your account will be recontracted for 24 months + any remaining months in your contract. Note all iphone 4s plans need to have a minimum of P99 powersurf. Please text IPHONE4S YES then send to 2327 for FREE to confirm availment on or before 9:00 am tomorrow. December 14. "

Called up customer service to confirm this message. But i was only informed that the plan 1200 is no longer available. We argued for about 30 mins and ended up the conversation with unresolved issues.

How could GLOBE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN ... by sending messages to their subscribers that aren't correct? You are misleading your customers.

i wanted to have detailed bill because i wanted to check if they are billing me correctly for the texts and internet use that i consumed (i just want to affirm that the number of texts and internet use are accurate to what they bill me). i called the csr last nov and said that they will send me a detailed invoice but until now they didnt provide me one. i called the today bec i didnt get any feedback or update and they told me that i have to submit subpoena from nbi, court order, letter of request, copy of valid id, pix and submit it to their legal dept. will all that hassle, they said that there is still no assurance that they will send me detailed invoices. such a big demand from a very small request . in the first place, i have the right to know the date and time of my text and internet and they are giving a lot of hassle for just knowing that

zero customer service at Emall

Exactly the same problem:
I have requested for a personal plan 1799 and an iPhone 4S on Wednesday 4th of January. I have been given a reference and told that it will take 5 days to proceed (3 days for validation, 2 days for delivery). They also confirmed that you had the phone in stock then.
My first follow-up was Friday, Jan 6 and a new reference ID was then given. After 13 days and despite numerous calls during which nobody was able to tell me when it will be delivered, I have received a text, saying that the application was now validated and that the phone was going to be delivered in 1 to 2 weeks!
I've sent then an email and received the standard message "We will get back to you within 24 hours." and guess what? It's been more than 24 hours ago...
This delays are outrageous. For an IT company, their process seem to be out of age and totally inefficient.
In any other country, if you don't get your plan and phone in the hour, you go straight to the competitor...
That's what I will be doing now, switching also my 500 company lines to Smart.

You are all correct!!! Globe telecom has really a negative sales services especially after sales. Our school had a bundle plan with globe.We, the faculty members, got a laptop and plug in plan good for two years. Upon delivery, one modem was already defective. Three days after, my laptop upon installation of the OS had crashed.We complained to the sales representative but without action. We also visited the Globe office and complained about it. We told them we would return the unit since it was not in good condition. The sales rep just said that we can't return that. He said we should go to Davao Hp center for the laptop to be repaired.Our concern was because we transact only with Globe and not with Hp; therefore, Globe telecom must be the one to find ways to repair the unit.I have gone to their office many times but still they are not giving us appropriate action to our problem.Even the billing section has no proper coordination with the other department because they cannot even update their customers' problems and complaints.I think they lack proper coordination with teir other departments. They are really disgusting!!

Mobile internet

I registered to SUPERSURF50. However, i never had the chance to use the internet as my kbps is 0.00. what a heck this globe services are. Been experiencing this for more than 3 years. Im just expecting of any changes to be introduced by the Globe Telecom, thus, i am still trying to use it. The thing is, im losing much (money) without benefitting from it

Customer Service

Our Wimax 4G is fine for off peak useage here in San Pablo Laguna, but during busy times it almost stops?
We have moved from the Batangas area where the service slowed down at times but was useable. I appreciate that busy times will happen but not slow so much that emailing is impossible.
What it means is that Globe are selling services to customers and not providing the "bandwidth" to accommodate them.
So much for 4G 24/7 internet.
Will need to change for a better supplier. Any offers?

Services of Globe Telecom

My name is Teresita Santos, I'm a plan 499 subscriber, I would like to complain about my billing, I visited Globe Sm North Edsa but then there's a lot of complainants and your customer service cannot accommodate more, so what to do where to call and how, I'm also a working mom so really its very hard to find time. There's a globe agent kept on calling me at home but i was not around and he is asking me to pay a big amount of money when I checked its not my account, I only subscribed 499 plan and he is insisting that my plan is 2, 499. What is this? How inconsistent your company is?

Customer Service

Globe's signal is so poor, repairs had been going on and off for almost a year now in Meycauayan. You call their hotline and reply would always be the same "technical concerns and repairs ongoing, with no definite date of completion"... we use our wymax only on weekends and we encounter difficulties connecting almost every month... really plan on transferring coz paying almost a thousand a month for eight times use per month is getting to be too much-considering the poor service we got! hey globe people, wake up! and fix this problem before you run out of clients!!!

Customer Service

Our Wymax had been having difficulties on and off for almost a year now, really planning on transferring to another service provider soon as contract ends this month... Imagine paying almost a thousand monthly (which we get to use only on weekends when we come home to Meycauayan) and getting continuous good service for, say- 4 months only out of almost a year now? Hey globe people, wake up before you run out of clients!!! All answers that the customer care people could give me was "sorry for the inconvenience but repairs ongoing"and no definite date or time for its completion... it was like calling globe's customer service for almost every weekend!! getting to be too tiring!!! Are you guys from other areas here in the Philippines getting same problems too?

REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Not about iPhone but Globe's Customer Service.

I have an existing DSL Plan 995 which I was using for 2 yrs now. Since April, connection is always on and off. The modem doesn't connect right away, you have to switch it on and off several times. Last Monday, I went to Globe to inquire about their Plan 1099 which comes with landline. The CSR suggested "Upgrading" our subscription and we were told to pay P550 for conversion fee. This is okay with us but the problem started when the CSR failed to mention that there is no modem to be installed, despite my specific question whether a modem and a phone will be installed. All he said was "someone will come to your house to do the installation".

2 days after, the phone was installed but the modem was not replaced. WTF? If I applied for a new line, I will get a new modem, a new phone, freebie, they will use several meters of wire from their mainbox to my house, and I only have to pay P500 installation fee. And yet when I paid P550, I only get the phone, 4 inches of wire to connect the splitter from my existing jack and the splitter itself. Mas mahal na fee, mas tinipid ang service and they expect customer loyalty.

Now here is the rub. I want to terminate the subscription and yet I couldn't use the Globe Landline to call the Account Termination Hotline (02 7301300) because the "phone has been restricted" in placing NDD calls. Yet when I called the Customer Service Hotline (which cannot process Termination), I was told that the (02) 7301300 is a toll-free number from any Globe Landline and that my account was put on "Pending". But when I inquired why was my account on "pending" they said that they cannot assist me since the are currently conducting systems enhancement.

I sent Globe an email about this, using their online form, but until now I haven't received a reply from them.

Talking about customer service. Talk to Globe?!!! I think you'll have better chances of calling hell.

Globe telecom's loyalty cellphone scam

I am a 1599 postpaid plan subscriber, my 2-year postpaid plan contract with Globe was supposed to finish 3 months ago but they told me my contract cannot be terminated because they keep on insisting that I availed their loyalty cellphone thru someone in somewhere that i never saw and that means my contract with them will be extended. How could that be! They didn't even call me to confirm that I'm really getting the cellphone. I asked for the documents they required to that someone why they've just easily gave the loyalty cellphone. Whenever I call them they'll just keep on telling me that the case is still umder investigation, I believe that it is an inside job a scam and they are truly disgusting!Until now they keep on sending me my monthly bill.

service has been cut off

Brua, Jr a globe plan 1500 subscriber, my line has been cut off due to my unpaid accounts of 2 months but its not my fault because i did not receive my monthly bill (statement of accounts) (July- August 2012) which is the basis for the preparation of our payments in government transaction. I called up globe Tagum City but until now, no documents being sent and the line still terminated. Billing Complaints and Poor Customer Service.

I spoke with almost 11 reps already from the reconnection department. The issue was - i requested for my service to be suspended last July 9, 2012 since my phone was stolen. So from July till Oct no charges should incur on the account since im not using my service. Last July i even spoke with a supervisor since there shouldn't be any charges that would incur since service was suspended, was assured since i claimed that there is no Terms and Conditions that was presented to me at the time that i had my stolen phone. So, im at ease that no charges would incur until the time that the service will be requested for recon on my end. So i recon my service last 24th of Oct 2012 and i have an overdue balance that time for only 801.00php for the pro rata charge last July. And new balance of $1829.00 for the usage from Oct 2012 to Nov 2012. Suddenly my service was disconnected last Nov 23, 2012 for non paymnt of my arrears for $801.00, i called globe cust service and s/w Jester(JAPS216) and committed with me that i can just settle $801.00 for my overdue usage for July 2012 and call back for service to be reconnected. I did that, called back and s/w different agents being transferred from one agent to another agent for almost 3FUCKING HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And nothing happened, even requested to s/w a supervisor but all of them have the same spiel of "My Supervisor is currently engagged on a call." Now, its been for almost 48 hrs that i don't have any service, kung masama lang akong tao tatakbuhan ko kayo! But not, i want your help guys. You're front liners are not even doing any effort. One of the largest Telecom in the Phil but you are abusing your customers. It doesn't mean na wala tayong consumer act sa Pinas eh gugulangan nyo customer's nyo, sorry not stupid enough para pagbayarin nyo sa bagay na dko gnamit. Im serious with this, hanggat di narreconnect service ko, dko kayo ttgilan.

Hi recently called globe cust service regarding my bill.. I was talkin to elizabeth and she gave me her employee i.d 55535. And in our conversation i requested for supervisor in charged and said that she will be looking for an available sup.agent then told me that she will transfer me to one of their sup. Was place on hold for more than 1 hr.  Stayed on line and line got disconnected... Hmffp and she sent me a transaction num. QBO12110054495..  And decided to call back cust service and briana assisted me on that call.,told her what happened on the previous call and asked her if the previous agent did try to transfer me to one of thier supervor. And was so dissapointed bec agent did not really transfer the call but just placed me on hold. Then disconnected the line after a period time and i requested briana if she will be able to transfer me.. And agent said that she was able to look for an avialble sup.. And sup will try to call me after a hour. Briana even provided me the name of the sup. Who will call. Sups. name is Fran fransico. As usualy I waited for hours  and no call back was made.. This only shows the integrity of globe service.. Poor customer service and incompetent people.. Globe sucks..

IPHONE 5 SHIPPING delayed

I received a call from Globe rep that I Iphone 5 will be delivered to my home address by 01/02/2013 thru AIR21. Ive waited all day but I did not rcv the unit. I called customer service and was advised it will be delivered the next day. So I waited the whole day on 01/03/13 still no Iphone was delivered. Called rep advised to wait on 01/04/12 still nothing was sent to my address. Called AIR21 and was advised they do deliver units only in 1 - 2 days time. I was advised to get the tracking number from Globe but Globe can't provide me any information. Now I was informed by Globe that phone is scheduled to be delivered 01/07/13. Hope I'll receive it. I cant wait evryday for the unit.

Identity Theft - Fraud Account

I had my postpaid plan (Plan 1799) back in January 8, 2011. It was all good and I even took another account with them (DSL). February of 2012, I learned that someone from Tuguegarao set up an account using my name (I got no friends or relatives from that place) on one of its Globe stores there. I asked the Globe store in SM Clark how did that happened - they were able to see and even show me that the IDs that the person used were completely different from the one I used - its of a different name. The manager at that store promised me that they will get this resolved and will give me a feedback. Knowing that they have proven to themselves that it was, in fact, an account fraudulently set up using my name, I became confident with them guys that it will be resolved (that just shows how much I trusted the company!). Too bad for me, I became too confident that I forgot to do a follow-up. December 2012, almost Christmas day, I called the Loyalty Department for any re-contracting offer, as my postpaid line is about to end in a few days. Then, I was SURPRISED, the Fraud Account still exists! They can't do the renewal of contract as their "System" won't allow them to do it because of an outstanding bill. The next days were really tiring and frustrating - I will always contact customer service, it ends up in 2 ways, either the agent or manager will say that this will be "escalated" and will be "investigated" or they will hang-up. I went over to the same Globe store at SM Clark, and to my surprise, they know the issue, but they didn't actually do any action. They say that they always keep in touch with the guys in Tuguegarao, but until when are they going to keep in touch and just solve the issue? I just can't believe that this happened to me. They clearly breached their own Privacy Policy stating that "Globe Telecom will not reveal, sell or provide, to any third party, any identifiable information pertaining to you personally, without your consent...". My contract has already expired, I wanted to renew my contract, but I'm having thoughts of not renewing my contract, and just continue fighting for that fraud account. I haven't asked this guys for any type of compensation, for all the money and time wasted, I just wanted my name cleared. I hope this instance doesn't happen to anyone (cross-fingers).
