Globe Telecoms... kinawawa ninyo father ko.
Last Oct2013, I escalated a case on excess internet charges amounting to Php 4,000++ (apparently made from May-June2013)
Since my father is a senior citizen already, it is absurd that he will use all those internet usage. So I requested Globe to review and reconsider.
My father diligently paid for the monthly charges but left the contested amount unpaid.
Since there is unpaid amount, Globe system automatically disconnects his line, so every month, I have to call them to reconnect. (It takes from 45mins to 1 hour to reconnect and most of the time, the lines were dropped) Intentionally or unintentionally... go figure.
Every month that I call, i would followup on my escalated case. The Reps will tell me that they will do a followup and put notes that I have been waiting since last year, that i will be prioritized, etc... And they would tell me to wait 24-48 hours so that their support team will call me back. (THIS STARTED LAST YEAR NOV 2013)
Every disconnection, I will call them back,,, and patiently and respectfully request to followup my escalated case.
One hotline representative even told me to be thankful that it was not disapproved so meaning, I still have a chance.
Another hotline rep told me that he has the authority to waive certain % off if I pay certain amount immediately. (It sounded dubious so I decided to wait instead for the resolution of the case)
Some reps are every heplful, but in the end, nothing happens. No return call again, no resolution, no definite time.
Yesterday, we finally gave up. YES GLOBE TELECOMS, YOU WIN. Paid the 10T++ bill (includes the 4T disputed amount) just to end this nightmare. My father doesnt want to owe money to anyone. I personally gave up of ever hearing from the support team anyway, too disappointed on how Globe treated us.
I called Globe today, followed up on the case, The Rep said he can only make a followup. I told him I had been doing that for several times already, I asked if he can waive the contested amount like what the last guy offered.(I JUST WANT TO CHECK IF PWEDE TALAGA GAWIN NG REP) The rep I called today said they do not have authority to waive any amount if a case is escalated. (This case was escalated last year so why did the previous Rep said he can waive if i settle that day) Parang naglolokohan na lang tayo. Our conversation ended up similarly... he can only make a report and follow it up. They cannot call the support team or transfer me to their support team.
Who are these support team anyway. Why are they not allowed to be called on? Do they have standards on how an excess internet charge case be handled, days, weeks, months? At present, I have been waiting for SEVEN MONTHS.
I decided to call disconnection afterwards, again relayed whatever happened and asked if she can help me out. She can just do a followup also. I said to just disconnect the line since we paid the 10T++ already. Now, she said for the May-June bill... I need to settle additional 1300. And since I paid yesterday, pasok daw ito sa cut-off sa June-July, so I will now be billed another month.
So i now owe Globe additional 2600. 1300 for being disconnected. And another 1300 because I paid within the June-July billing cycle. (UNBELIEVABLE!) I asked her to check if there was any usage. She said none. NOT EVEN ONE TEXT MESSAGE for those two month period.
I explained the entire situation again and that I have been waiting for 7 months for the resolution. But again, sorry she cannot do anything.
We finally ended up permanently disconnecting the account, and my excess internet charge case for review is automatically cancelled. I cannot even contest to review the monthly charges I am being asked to pay for month of June and July. This is how
This is what I endured with GLOBE TELECOMS. This is hard earned money we are talking about. All this while, I never shouted or swore to all the Reps Ive talked to. I endured this for so long, nasuya na ako. Others would still contest, we just finally gave up. you win GLOBE, take my father's hard earned money......

useless call center service
Globe needs to spend more for customer service. Customers need not wait for call center agents to pick up calls after more than 20 minutes on hold. Wtf. They also keep on changing plans offered which is convenient for them but not for their consumers- they earn more from customers without really improving their service. I think Globe sucks. They are as corrupt as local government officials. Thanks for nothing, Globe.

LAG MOBILE DATA NETWORK
Why Globe? Why does everytime I subscribed on your supersurf50..and when I used it,it keeps on lag? Like opening a google page..so lag. Got really pissed off. Im within the city with good globe connection. This is way too much..spending money for nothing.

Shit service
Globe are the shittiest mobile network I have ever had the misfortune of coming across, my wife and I try to use Skype to talk most days but the service is extremely bad, I am from the UK if Globe opporated here they would be out of business in no time atall, nothing's note than a bunch of amateures as far as I can see, my heart goes out to the poor people/ customers in the Philippines, Globe treat customers like shit, this company needs to go to the wall,
