Bad return policy and customer service
I have to agree with most of these comments. Just got back from Burlington (MA) Mall and they refused to accept a shirt back one week after Christmas, with receipt from 12-21, because it didn't have a tag, which may or may not have been there in the first place. I'm now going to go upstairs and go through the rest of the 12-21 purchase to return everything with a tag out of spite.

Lousy Lululemon Return Policy
My friend introduced me to your products this year, and I bought a bunch of stuff, all of it very nice. I gave her a top for Christmas, which I bought online. She was sick and just today (1/14) we went to exchange the top for a smaller size. I could not believe that the time for holiday returns had passed -- the deadline was JANUARY 8???? There was no flexibility at the store, and my purchase was a waste.
I think their return policy is unbelievably obnoxious, and I don't know how they get away with it, but neither I nor my friend will be buying from them again.
Good luck insulting your customers, Lulu. Bye.

LuLuLemon Horrible Return Policy
My mother purchased a jacket for my sister - for her Bday. It was the wrong size unfortunately. Also unfortunate - my sister and mother didn't know the return policy.
My sister was told she couldnt exchange it or return it - and we all called the company and were told the same thing. In fact, we were told to sell the new with tags jacket on EBAY!
My experience was soo poor that I decided to start a blog on Lululemon customer service - feel free to share your story.

Bad return policy and customer service
I will never wear luluemn's sub-standard clothing again. All that I have is going to the bin because I don't even want to donate the items to charity and have someone else put up with their poor fabrics and workmanship. I complained to a store in Australia about how a wrap of theirs is leaving black fluff every where; anything I wear underneath the garment turns black and gets covered in black fluff The shop assistant proudly told me she has three of the same item i was complainng about and politely told me that's how the wrap is - it just continues to shed fluff !! I can't see their success continuing long term. I think this is a short term brand.

Bad return policy and customer service
I received two very nice yoga tops for Christmas, with the tags still on, still in the tissue paper and the gift receipt staples to the tag. Their tops run small and all I wanted was to exchange the tops for a larger size. I was told that they will not return or exchange after 14 days, even for equal value. I will do all my shopping at Athleta from now on as they have a lifetime guarantee and excellent products. I will be encouraging others to do the same.

Bad return policy and customer service
I phoned up one day to a Austrailain store for product information, i simply wanted to know if they had a Skirt in store (if so i would have brought it) the guy on the phone was so rude to me, had a big attitude and didnt even bother to look for the garment. went in to see if it was there after he told me "no... we dont even have it yet it hasnt come in austraila" i found it was there and it has been in stock for several weeks now. luckly the girls that served me were very very nice and helpful. the product is very expensive but i havent had any problems as of yet with the fabric or make so im pretty happy with it.

Horrible Customer Service & Return Policy
I got the lululemon hoodie for my Bday, but I did not like the colour. Lululemon refused to exchanged or return without the receipt. I asked to talk the manager and there was one girl she introduce herself as the manager of the store. She was the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE and Unprofessional as the manager of Lululemon. I never shop at LULULEMON AGAIN. ..........

Customer Service
I recently went to purchase a pair of cropped capris, and normally I wear a size 8-10 in lulu clothing. However, the sales associate insisted that I buy the size 12 and kept telling me that 12 was definitely the right size for me. Not wanting to be rude I trusted her judgement, thinking maybe she knew something I didn't about the way these pants were supposed to fit. Well, it's my first time wearing them and I realized I should have trusted my own judgement because there is so much extra material around my hips and backside, and they fall down as I walk. Such a shame since the clothing isn't exactly cheap, and now, since I took the tags off, I can no longer return them! The people working in the change rooms should really take more time when helping customers and also consider how strongly people (like myself) trust in their opinions. After all, they are supposed to be the experts.

Poor return policy for a gift
I am the mother of 5 daughters. All my daughters went together on Lululemon outfit for my birthday gift. One of the items my daughters bought me was a Lululemon tank top. When I went to put it on to my work out, it fit oddly. I took it back to the store w/tags on in the gift bag and was condescendingly informed by the store manager of their strict no return policy without a receipt. I asked, "can't you just exchange it for a different size or another top?" I was again told of the strict no return policy/no exchange policy either. I was not aware of the company policy regarding returning of merchandise with in 14 days of purchase. I asked the store manager how does your return policy work for gifts? She said the same. I told her their policy discourages buying a gift from their store for someone. She seemed to care less. By the way, I tried to resolve this by calling their customer service person, to which they repeated the same mantra.
So, here is my resolution. I informed all 5 daughters what a terrible company policy Lululemon has and therefore no more buying any more Lululemon products for all of us. I told my daughters I am sticking with nordstrom as i would never have had to encounter any of the dissatisfaction and condescending attitude. No more Lululemon for us! By the way, I have also influenced my sister's decision to no longer buy Lululemon products. One would think in this economy that Lululemon would change their policy to retain their customer base! Guess not. They lost 7 customers today and forever.

JERKS
Was given a shirt by my mother for my birthday. It did not fit right, and honestly I didn't love it. I went to the store today to simply exchange the brand new shirt with tags and was told I could not. They said i was lucky that I would be allowed to exchnage for a larger size. I was outraged being spoken to like ths over a 60 dollar shirt, I called my mother and asked how she paid to which she replied credit card. I then took the shirt and handed it to the woman( manager, what a joke!) and said here is your shirt, I will handle this with my credit card compnay and walked out. She said that it was "illegal" for me to leave the shirt, to which I said oh yeah call the police. These f**ing snobs, tomorrow I call the credit card company and let them know I wont be paying and the shirt is back at the POS store!

CRUEL CLERK AT LULULEMON
Bought some pants for a relative and since I am not the "right" size for LuluLemon the clerk, who had been a kind and chatty to the previous customer, was barely civil to me and said "oh, these aren't for you, right?" In one sentence she managed to make me feel as if I had no business in their shop and to feel even worse about myself than I already do. She, of course, had no idea I used to wear their clothes before my arthritis and joint replacement changed my ability to do the cardio and workouts I used to do to stay fit--she had no idea that I still do yoga, but because LuluLemon is sizist and thinks that anyone bigger than a size 12 is undeserving of decent workout clothing, well, I must be in the wrong place so get out. I was truly upset by this, but realise that they will always see someone who doesn't fit their coroporate idea of who should wear their clothes, as an outsider. It's just unfortunate I had to be subjected to this just for a birthday gift...

Hemming Policy
Hypocritical Hemming Policy
I bought a pair of Star runner tights that has folded accordian like pleats on the bottom of each leg & the sales person said they couldn't hem them b/c of the design detail at the bottom of the leg & that removing their own design would constitute a 're-design' and considered 'hemming'. Catch 22? They rave about their free hemming policy but "re-define" the definition of hemming as they go & only stand up to their store policies if it is in their best interest & beneficial to their bottom line. Absolute Piss Poor business practice Lululemon & an excellent way of keeping your clients happy.

Worst Return Policy EVER--Will Never Shop There Again!
This company is so full of themselves and has awful customer service. The fact that I chose to spend my money with them for a gift that needed to be exchanged for something that was MORE expensive and told NO even though the tag was still on the item was a slap in the face. I will take my money elsewhere and never support this business. By the way I was exchanging a cheap beanie for an expensive jacket that was 3X more. Their loss, not mine.

Rain jacket
I paid 200.00 for a rain jacket for my 80 yrs young mom on line. She was away at the time, so upon her return, I surprised her with Lulu. My mom tells me she really liked the product, but the size is incorrect. The surprise was on me. Now I find out, I cannot return for correct size. Yup, a real nice kick in the face. Now I am stuck with this product and I have to buy her something else. My mom asked if I was exchanging for a larger size. I said mom, Lulu will not exchange.
I cannot return the product, so I would buy her something from another place. As of today, this loyal Lulu customer is no more.
Spread the word! Customers are not first with Lulu. Let's hope they get the message.

Return Policy and horrible quality of clothing
I hope that soon everyone will stop shopping at Lululemon. I purchased a pair of Capri Yoga pants (size 12) which s normally the size I wear. After wearing them 1 time the waist nearly went to my chest! I tried to exchange them, as they cost $82, but that is when I found out about the return policy (there really isn't one) I then bought a size 10, and those were still big!! I wrote a letter to customer service, they pretty much said "too bad, so sad". I bought my daughter 2 pair also, they fit her, but unfortunately after you wash them, they look like they are 5 years old!! They have all these little material balls on the waist. Lululemon has overpriced, poor quality merchandise, and the most unacceptable customer service I have ever experienced! Needless to say I bought 4 pairs of Yoga pants and a Jacket for $130....over $600 , and they have the nerve to treat their customer's as if they could care less about them!! I will never step foot in that store ever again!! Please spread the word. Here is what CEO Christine Day said:
The piece quotes Ms. Day as saying, "We aren't Nordstrom. We aren't your personal shopper." Lululemon's return policy is "very strict": no products accepted after 14 days, and all must be unwashed and unworn, with original tags.
Honestly she should consider trying to be like Nordstrom, they have an awesome reputation and the best customer experience of any other retailer. Consumers love Nordstrom!! Customers hate Lululemon, my hope is that they will go under, they do not deserve to continue to operate and steal the consumer's money! Please let all your friends and family know, post it, blog it, let's do whatever we can to put this business out of commission!!

Worst Return Policy
My husband had purchased two outfits for me for Christmas. I didn't anticipate a problem in returning the items for store credit because I had all the tags attached and gift receipts. I was told that because of their evolving inventory and return policy, I would couldn't even get a store credit. I will never shop at Lululemon ever again and will tell others as well of their poor return policy.

Horrible Customer Service...This Loyal Lulu Fan is NO MORE
I LOVE Lululemon clothing..In fact, I am planning to fill an empty closet of ALL Lululemon. I HAVE spent Hundreds if not Thousands of Lululemon clothing line because it's comfortable and great for travelling...but Lululemon literally BURNED me today
I got an item on SALE which is the Tidal Pullover for $74.00 Lululemon Athletica Scottsdale Quarter only to find out ** 30 mins ** later Lululemon Athletica Biltmore has the SAME shirt for $34.00.
Spoke to the manager @ Lululemon @ Biltmore location and she stands on the "NO PRICE ADJUSTMENT" policy and there is NOTHING that they can do.. So pretty much, I lost out on a difference of $40.00..I was STUNNED. I called the customer service line and I have gotten the same response. I have REALIZED how HORRIBLE Lululemons customers service and Return/Exchange Policy is NOW....and from reading and researching from loyal customers who turned away from lululemon...
My "love affair" with Lululemon will come to an END. I LOVE their clothing and I even obsessively talk about how "great" this clothing is to my peers..I'm a LOYAL customer whenever I LOVE a product, I STICK with it...BUT...when its BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE like this happens.. I take my $$$ elsewhere.. I wish I knew then, what I know NOW...I'd never BUY or STEP @ Lululemon.

AMAZINGLY AWFUL RETURN SERVICE
I can't believe how awful their return service is. They almost made me cry. They try to tell me that I washed the thing wrong - are you serious right now? Never order from this store online or in person.

I'm Done
I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars over the last 6 years at this company. As of today, I am completely done with them.
I attempted to make a return (within the "holiday" return time frame). The tags were on and I had the receipt. However, I didn't have the credit card with me that it was purchased on. A friend had bought it for me. I was with him. I'm an instructor so it showed my instructor discount on the receipt....linked to me. My friend lives out of state. They would not refund the 2 items. Their comment was that it had to go back to the original card. What difference did it make with whose card it was returned on?? I had MY identification. I'm trying to figure out how someone could possibly scam them this way and just don't see it. I was so disgusted by it. I let my five year old pick out some scarves for herself and some other stuff. My FIVE year old. That's how much I didn't want the $300 worth of merchandise. I'm done. They're a-holes. Shop at Athleta....and they are expanding locations. More variety and awesome quality.!

Poor business practice and liars
I bought a scuba during their one day sale. Realizing after having done the transaction that the system changed my size to a smaller one, I decide to chat with an educator who reassured me that the item would fit (he compared it to another lulu hoodie) and confirmed that I would be able to exchange the product if it didn't fit.
I receive the hoodie, and guess what...it doesn't fit. I realize that they no longer have my color in a bigger size, I called all stores around my area and none have the same color. Anyways, I go online today and notice a color that in a bigger size. I start a chat to ask about doing an exchange...I am spoke to by an educator like I was a piece of crap. Wow! Not only that but I am being told that exchanges or not possible..WTF...so basically I am told to either refund the hoodie or go to a store to exchange...wait wait aren't you the same company?
Needless to say, lululemon you are a bunch of a**holes, my business with is done. Oh and stop saying to your customers that you value them, that's a load of crap. Keep it up guys, you'll be going out lf business if you keep spitting on the people that actually pay for your salaries.

Smelly Store
The posted store hours say 11am Sunday. In the window was an added sign that says "meditating until 11am" Well at 11:08am they opened the doors as yoga ladies were first still picking up their mats and with all the racks still pushed off the floor. As if this wasn't bad enough, the store reeked hot, sweaty and not ready for business. The offensive odor should not have to be tolerated by the first customers walking through the door plus it is apparent there was attempt to deodorize or sanitize anything! The yoga instructor/cashier/store manager? came over at one point as the racks were still being put back in place and said "sorry we ran late" ( this is NOT the first time) and I told her " it was not good enough, you are running a retail store" She literally ran away from me as fast as she could without any attempt to ask what she could do for me today and the rest of the staff didn't ask if I needed any help either. Very Very poor experience.

Very Bad Custom service & Cheap quality
I have been spent more then USD $ 2500 in total of my three time shopping of the lululemon yoga mats in the showroom and the shop in Hong Kong.
Been complaining same problem for three times but they have given me a very ridiculous answer from ths sales person of lululemon. Everytime I buy the mats from them and I found scratch on them so I told them that should not be happen with a new item, and they told me that it will be scratch when you use it anyway... I was very shock they can speak like that, what kind of customer service is this... I request to get me a new one but they said they put all the mats out from their stock on the shelf so that means all of their mats are selling with scratch.. I am very upset about a big name of yoga products can be like this... The people working in the Hong Kong Lululemon are so unprofessional, don't tell me this is kind of lululemon company policy to sell mats out with problems...
I tried to suggest them to put something to protect the mats but they said no way we do not do that.. Just so horrible customer service...
Does know is that happen in the other coutry as well and where I can make complain..I still keep all the receipt with me..

Don't buy lululemon during SALE
I just bought a jacket/wrap during lululemon sale and I notice the next day there was a price drop $20. Even thought it says FINAL SALE** - means no price adjustment or no return according to the person 'Caeli' that I chat with online. There is no where on the website said that it is said that 'no price adjustment or no return' on the website. So kindly take note when you buy lululemon products during sale or 'we made too much' as it means just that.
Don't get cheated. $20 may not seem like much but when you can just get another piece with the lower price is so disappointing. Well it may seem to be first come first serve, there is such thing if you want to have a sale why do tier pricing and then pissed off customers. I guess for me it is a lesson learned. So beware.
