Boycotting until Dukes are back!
I am writing this to let you know, that you have lost a customer and from what I see online you have lost a WHOLE lot more than just me! What kind of company are you??? You pull one of the most ICONIC TV shows in history over a stupid flag that some people say are offensive!!??? REALLY?? I find cancelling the show OFFENSIVE, what will do for me?? OH thats right nothing, because my opinion no longer matters!! This is AMERICA, we have a right to freedom of speech, we have a right to our own opinions, and we are supposed to be protected with such rights, but when you go and take a show off the air because one group finds if offensive, you are saying that freedom of speech does not matter! Tell me how it matters for your shows and what you want to say but it does not matter for anyone else??????? I have boycotted Walmart for their views, and I now am boycotting your station completely.. I personally don't even care about the flag, I was born in Cincinnati Ohio so it has little meaning to me, however this is about our freedoms as Americans, and you are a part of the problem that are taking those freedoms away! If we choose to take away all things that others find offensive, there will be nothing left, because EVERYTHING will offend someone sometime!! We need to pay attention to our history and just sweep it under the rug, because those who choose to ignore history, are BOUND to REPEAT IT!! I hope you will reconsider not only because I love the TV show, but because we need to stop the downward spiral our country is on right now!

Pulling Dukes of Hazzard
Why pull the Dukes of Hazzard? Because some stupid kid did something in South Carolina and just so happened that the news media found the most inflammatory picture they could of him and spread it around the world. The Dukes of Hazzard has nothing to do with race. The Confederate Flag didn't ask for that kid to go and kill 9 people. IT'S JUST A FLAG. You can pull it, take it off the air, take it down from state buildings but it will CHANGE NOT ONE THING. It's not the flag that has hate. It's people. I'm a proud southerner and to me the flag represents the south of today not of 150 years ago. It represents a group of people be they black, white, brown, red, or purple who come to together in times of need. Who know how to make some awesome food, who know how to have a good time and how to take care of their neighbors. Yes there are racist people but that is true EVERYWHERE and not in the south. Hate and racism is in a person's heart and soul not in a flag and until idiots figure that nothing will change. And yes that means your network is on the side of idiots. PUT THE DUKES OF HAZZARD BACK ON THE AIR and stop pandering to the media. I will wave my flag not in hate but in pride for the people of the south. ALL PEOPLE OF THE SOUTH.

Really? Pulling the show just because of a bunch of radical liberal nuts complain about a flag that is part of this nation's history?
It's like a new tee shirt on sale now that has a picture of the Southern battle flag on it and says: "If this flag offends you, you need a history lesson".
You know the likes of Stalin and Hitler rewrote history too.

This is absurd! I will never tune into TVland Until
Dukes of hazzard is put back on the air! I am generally a daily watcher, but no more. I've sat through many innapropriate commercials on your station to watch a good show like Dukes of Hazzard. A lying sinning priest is okay but a car with a rebel flag isn't? They're just good ol' boys as the song goes. Put the show back on or you'll lose tremendous amounts of viewers!

no dukes, then tvland is useless to me. the show was a comedy and the dukes had morals to teach children today, what a shame you would let a painting of a flag on top of a car to stop airing a clean show. your board who voted on this is a total joke. where do they get these dumb asses.

I can't believe you guys cancelled Dukes of Hazard reruns. I understand you are doing it in response to the confederate flag issue, but I thought you guys had some sanity. I know of no one, black,white,red,yellow or purple that find this show offensive. Shame on you and I won't be watching your channel for a while.

I am very saddened to hear that you have stooped to the level of removing a wholesome,family oriented show from your channel lineup! The problem with this country is people and organizations such as yourself, who WILL NOT stand up for what is right and use your voice! EVERYBODY seems to think they know what the flag stands for, but few actually KNOW and understand its purpose! Im trying to raise 5 boys in a corrupt world and sometimes the only thing on tv they can actually watch is the older shows where there isn't violence, drugs, drinking, and "uncontrollable" sex! If you think you need to remove a show because of a flag, just so you don't "offend" people, then maybe you should remove a show who's star is gay in real life, because it's offensive also! I pray you have the truth revealed to you about what you actually stand for

No Dukes? No Me!
The Dukes of Hazzard is one of the most harmless shows ever aired. You are going to create WAY more controversy by dropping the show than you would have ever endured by airing the harmless TV show and just kept your mouths shut. Your other programing has gotten so bad that the Dukes of Hazzard was the only reason that I came back to TVLand. our "Original " sitcoms are the worst sitcoms on ANY channel. And the way you add more time to everything you air, just so you can throw in another 15 minute of commercials for every 44 minute show, makes it impossible to see the whole program if you only have an hour to spare. I will be boycotting TVLAND and EVERY sponsor that you show commercials for. And I encourage EVERYONE to do the same. JUST SAY NO TO TVLAND

Pulling the Dukes of Hazzard show will make us so much safer. Those crazy boys driving that classic car, doing burn outs, and jumping streams. Oh my, I'm getting scared just typing it. Hanging out at the Boars Nest and watching Daisy serve drinks. I just can't stand for that. Pulling tricks on Roscoe and Boss Hog. That's just out of control. I knew Waylon Jennings was bad news if he was singing about those "good ole boys." Whew I feel better now. Can't wait for the NFL to get started back up. I feel a lot better watching those rapists, women beaters, murderers, and whatever crimes they committed this week

Pulling the Dukes over the flag on a car. Who are you so afraid of that you pull a show from the past. A show that had nothing to do with race! Quit all the nervous knee jerk stuff. Your decision to ban the Dukes of Hazard series based on a painted on flag is spineless and foolish. You cow down to a few progressive activists and anger a large portion of your viewing audience.
TV Land is now blocked on my set and will never be viewed again. I will be as vocal as possible to influence others to do the same. Stupid, stupid move to try and appease a small group of Nazi's who want to ban everything the don't agree with.

Tv land just hit a all time low dropping the Dukes. My kids love the Dukes, the only show that has true family values! I grew up watching this show. It's clean,funny and action packed. We don't have any shows like that anymore. I will not watch anything associated with tv land !!! you people suck !!!

Your network dropping Dukes of Hazard is just plain stupid, Everyone is just so scared of not being politically correct it has become a farce. Is their any business of any kind that doesn't have a backbone anymore? Dukes is like apple pie and chevrolet, nearly an iconic part of our country. Should we erase anything from our history books that might rub a particular group of people the wrong way concerning the south and civil war? I and my family are so fed up with your ignorant dropping of Dukes, has just lost you a long time viewer and to anyone else I can get to do the same. Your network executives that came up with this bright idea makes me sick at my stomach. OK time to raise my confederate flag.

I have seen several commercials where you are promoting your new show IMPASTOR. I am offended by this show and want it removed immediately!!! REMOVE IT! Stupid statement? There are several shows on TV that OFFEND me, but guess what??? I have a remote control and can turn the channel. SHAME ON YOU for taking Dukes of Hazzard off tv land. Maybe you should change your name to....Kool Aid Land...or Rainbow Land? Just sick.

How stupid to pull a show because of a flag. There is NOTHING racist about Duke of Hazzard. I use to love TVLand, now it has become very little good, old shows and way too much stupid, horrible, insulting, scummy sitcoms. Someone needs to be fired over all the stupid decisions on programming for tvland. I raised two girls watching cool old shows on tvland. We watch tvland less ands less because of the scummy, rotten sitcoms that are on tvland are not family friendly.

TVLand has been one of my favorite stations for years and the "Dukes of Hazzards' is one of the best shows ever. There isn't anything racist or derogatory about the show. However, if the confederate flag on the car is enough to get a show pulled, then I believe the Jefferson's should be pulled for the use of the word "honky". This is the most ridiculous and knee jerk move by TVLand and I'm sure will cost TVLand viewers.
Please keep the "Dukes of Hazzards" on the air.

Since TV Land has decided to no longer air episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard because someone might be offended, I’d like to add my equally absurd complaints… I’m offended by Three’s Company for its anti-gay jokes, Bonanza’s support of confederate sympathizers, The Jeffersons for its referral to honkies, Hogan’s Heroes for portraying Nazis as “nice guys”, Gunsmoke because guns are evil, and I Love Lucy for including a character who demeans his wife. I’m sure that TV Land has no plans to cancel any of these shows. They’re all enjoyable – as is Dukes of Hazzard. If your plan is to remove every show that offends anybody – you’re not going to have anything left to show.

It appears your company is out of touch w/commonsense Americans! WE ARE FED-UP AND SICKENED BY THE CONSTANT PC NONSENSE! Will you wake up and look at the real message of Dukes of Hazard and compare it w/the messages of today's shows! I can't watch most of the violent, sex driven trash that is being allowed on the screen! Some of this stuff is down right pornography and I am OFFENDED as the sickening liberal PC crowd expounds! But it seems it is only that what 1% that is listened to! I will be writing my TV service and tell them to remove you from their programming as I cannot support those that jump on the bandwagon every time the PC crowd whines! People w/commonsense and any knowledge of history have to understand the confederate flag is simply a symbol of Southern pride during our country's growing up years! There is absolutely NO racism connected to that flag - ask any Southerner and especially Governor Haley!
