BOYCOTTING TV LAND
TV Land used to be a network I wasn't afraid to have on in front of my child. Many of their promotions for other shows are not appropriate for children. Now, in light of them banning the "Dukes of Hazzard" for fear of offending anyone while constantly promoting the show "Impastor," I no longer want them on my television. Why is it ok to offend a large segment of the population with a blatantly anti-Christian program while removing reruns of a show that no reasonable person would call racist? I am very disappointed in you, TV Land. However, instead of going on a crusade against your network, I will do what a conservative person would do. I just won't watch anymore.

Family TV?
TV Land was once my favorite channel...a good wholesome family channel that showed television shows from the 50's,60's and 70's. What used to be a channel anyone in my family could watch has now become littered with trashy, immoral shows. I cannot believe it would even think to air a show like the upcoming "Impastor". You should be ashamed !!!

Your channel is no longer a family friendly station. Your programs are full of inappropriate material and language. Even if you are watching something that is okay, the commercials are not!! I cannot believe that you choose to create such trash. I never thought I'd see the day when TVLand was not okay for my kids and family to,watch. So sad and shame on you!!

IMPASTOR
Your pathetic mockery of Christianity with this new show IMPASTOR is somewhat surprising to me. Not to see a show of this type being advertised on television, no I fully expect to see this sort of filth now days, but a station that shows classic shows like Gunsmoke, then in turn runs garbage such as this during their commercial. Well, I guess it just took me by surprise. Silly me, why should it though? Just remember, to all who are calling the shots at TV LAND and to the actors and actresses that stoop so low as to be in this sort of trash. YOU WILL ANSWER FOR IT ON BENDED KNEE! JESUS CHRIST WILL HAVE HIS JUDGMENT ON THOSE WHO WOULD DARE MAKE A MOCKERY OF HIM AND THE HOLY BIBLE. But I can just imagine if anyone actually takes the time to read this rant, they will likely roll their eyes and blow it off as non-sense. Hey better yet, you people like to be "bold" and attack Christianity right? Why don't you really rub that yellow off your bellies and make a show that mocks Muslims? Oh of course not, you wouldn't dare do that would you? And the saddest thing is that Muslims are completely wrong. Only Jesus Christ is the way to the Father, NOT Mohammad. But you'll bow to them mercifully. You poor poor fools.

Are you bothering to read these reviews?
I've been reading the various comments provided by viewers. I, too, spent numerous hours with my family watching TV Land in order to view classic shows. Our children truly enjoyed programing rich with humor and/or relating to family life. Shows like I Love Lucy, Hazel, Leave it to Beaver, and Dick Van Dyke (to name a few), are so superior to many on the networks today. One could count on TV Land to provide this type of entertainment. What happened?? Many of your original sitcoms are vulgar and silly. Commercial ads are overwhelming. You've even resorted to scheduling programs at 8:12 pm for example in order to provide more ads.
Please consider bring back the classics shows..viewers need an alternative to what is provided on the other networks.

I don't know why you insist on putting anti- Christian programming on such as the Impastor. Poking fun at Christianity in such a low fashion is despicable. I guess it is just part of your liberal agenda to destroy the USA, Christianity, and the minds of our youth. I for one, can't stand any of your amoral shows. Go back to the late fifties and early sixties re-runs. Keep Everybody Loves Raymond and get rid of Gilligan's Island. Your fan base was built on twice is nice re-runs, not the garbage you show now.

TV land used to be the best!What happened to the Nanny?I can be in the worst mood watching that show cheers me up every time.Also lately you show the same Golden Girls on Sunday that you had on,on Saturday what's up with that?I also agree with everyone else stop putting the new shows on!They don't do anything for TV Land it should be about older shows we all loved!!

Dukes of Hazzard
I have CANCELLED my TV Land channel after the left wing bigoted 'LIBTARDS' cancelled the Dukes of Hazzard show over the Confederate flag issue. The owners or management in charge of shows shown on TV Land are OBVIOUSLY cowards and caved in to the 'LIBTARD' agenda in cancelling this show.
I hope that a HUGE number of TV Land viewers CANCELL this channel, OR, just STOP VIEWING IT so it COLLAPSES!

The new shows are so dis respectful. Take the Dukes of Hazard off because of a flag but make a new show with a pastor that is gay , COME ON , what are you thinking !! A gay person and a pastor is as different as as night and a sunny day them 2 things should not be in the same sentence !! Need to show the old shows like Andy , Jefferson's , Bonanza , etc !! No new shows , they are no good . Stick with the program the way it was when it started.

Disappointed in TVLand
I too disagree with pulling The Dukes of Hazzard. I think it was too quick a reaction and way over the top. My main issue today, however, is the new programming. I miss the old days of TV Land only running old classic TV shows. I don't know when it was decided to create original series for the channel, but I think it completely ruins the appeal of the station. The newest one, "Impastor" is definitely going too far. I realize it airs at 9:00 p.m., however, I was stunned to see that the main character used profanity (f*** and s***). F*** was censored but s*** was not. It was used twice. I can't believe either word was used at all, censored or otherwise. Not to mention how very disrespectful and offensive the show is. It makes a mockery of Christians and pastors, Each time I see a promo for the show I am more offended. The topics that are being addressed and the vulgar references being made are absolutely unacceptable. I have never purchased the movie channels because of the non-censoring. I certainly don't want to start seeing it on basic cable programming. I won't even get into the other new shows like "The Exes" and
Hot In Cleveland" which I also find unacceptable.
Please continue airing family shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, The Andy Griffith Show, etc. These are the shows I think the viewers really want to see. I hope that the powers that be will see fit to remove "Impastor" from it's programming. TVLand is not the place for shows like this. Thank you.

Repeat shows
I watch tvland every single night. This is ridiculous that I see the same exact shows night after night. I watch everyone loves Raymond and king of queens which is one of my favorites but who wants to see the same show every damn night. U will definitely lose ratings because I know a lot of people who are also not going to deal with this. This happens all the damn time and now I'm tired of it. There are so many episodes u could be playing.

The only newer show worth watching is The Exes, BUT, good luck catching it, because they are to busy shoving the other disgusting shows down our throats. It's not even on On Demand, but the other crappy shows are. In my household, we will NOT watch trash, especially shows that make living a lie okay.
Also, bring back WINGS!!!!!!

First off I'm pissed about the fact there is no where to complain on the site which proves u dont care but then when u play normal shows I like u repeat the same damn episodes night after night do u realize ppl watch the same canned every night and now won't so u will lose ratings a lot which can lose ur air show. I cannot believe the amount of profanity and lack of respect for Christianity I am currently watching with the new appalling show Impastor. I have never heard such disgusting language as I have heard on this show. TV land, you have lost your "family" rating in my book. As a teacher of elementary school children, I am always monitoring to see if things are age appropriate and even worthy of watching. I have noticed that many of your shows have become more sexual, but this show takes the cake. It is disgusting, and as a fan of The Andy Griffith Show and other CLEAN FAMILY entertainment, I will not subject myself or my children to such profanity and mockery of Christianity. TV Land, you have lost one more loyal viewer because of the trash you are now broadcasting.

Please get the horrible show Impastor off your station. What is wrong with you people. You are getting pretty bad, even Family Feud is trash.
It is a shame you can't hold your head up and refuse to show these disgusting shows and commercials. Act like grown ups and decent people.

Stick to the old shows
I watch tv mostly between 8 and 12oclock nightly and I like the old sitcoms such as Sanford and son, the Jeffersons, Archie bunker, mamas family, the golden girls. I don't understand why you are putting all the new shows on. I thought this network was for old shows. It was at one time. Please put some of these shows on during this time so I will have something to watch. Thanks, sincerely, mark
