Wind Mobile are thieves
I signed up with Wind in May 2015. They told me that they have to hold $150. for six months as a new customer and they will reimburse me in 6 months. I did not like this but agreed. I always paid my bill on time and everything appeared to be OK. On the 6th month, I paid my bill 5 days late because of a mix up. I had paid my previous mobile provider in error and when I noticed I did this, I corrected this and paid my Wind bill right away. When I called Wind to find out when they were going to send me my $150. back, they told me because my account was not in good standard, they were going to hang on to my money for another 6 months. I did not agree and asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor told me the same thing. I tried to explain what had happened and I told her that I had never made a late payment except for this time and it was just a few days. She did not care and told me I still had to wait another six months. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said I am talking to the highest level I could speak to and there is nothing she will do to help me. I told her that Wind is a thief and as soon as my 2 year contract is over, I will cancel my service and would never go back to them. Save yourself a lot of trouble and stay away from Wind.

Worse service on Ottawa Bank street and hunt club
I went to this location to enquire about switching my phone over. After lots of answers that did not make sense, the guy ask me if he could do a credit check, I asked is it a soft or hard query, as a hard query goes on your credit like you are seeking credit.
I ended up not signing for service because I did not like how the person was answering me.
I am registered with both credit bureau for monitoring so I received an alert email saying a new credit check has been made on Equifax.
I sent Wind Customer service a message thru their web site.
They answered and said they would escalate this issue.
No one ever got back to me and my score on Equifax has lowered by 20 points because I have a high score, nothing big will lower my score, even 1 credit check in 2 years.
DO NOT TRUST WHAT THE SALESPERSON SAY, THEY ARE NOT CONSISTANT IN THEIR ANSWER WHEN ASKING SAME QUESTIONS IN DIFFERENT TIMES IN THE CONVERSATION.
I THINK THE COMPANY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE.
the only reason they get interested people is their advertising and pricing, obviously, their network is not good so this is like a legal scam.

Paid but no high speed serviceservice
I have been fighting with Wind for the last couple weeks. I am so angry I would send a nuke thru the net if it worked. I paid on my prepaid internet on July 26th or 7th. The slow speed contiued as it was due the 24th. As of Aug 4th it has not gone to high speed. Think its time to send all these thieving sand dwellers back home. Anybody using the pay as you go, bend over, they are going to screw you somehow. I have several back to hi speed which includes august 4th 8th 9th 10th. Let alone when it should have started July 26 th. As for customer service it seems to be in someones house, if you hear thae babies crying, english is not even their 2nd language. Wind is only for the poor. No one else would even consider it.

Complaint
I recently got a phone from wind since they gad back to school plan. The sales person "Raghuraj Tapaswi" located at 2300 lawrence ave east.said if im not happy with the phone i can return it in 15bus days for full refund. After couple
Of days phone didnt have service and msgs wouldnt go thru, went back and returned the phone after 4 days from the day i bought it. The sales person didnt do full refund. He got the sim card with the phone but didnt refund for the sim
Card, and didnt cancel the plan. After a month i got an email inhave a bill to pay, i drove back
To the store and he said i have to call customer service. And its been a month and still they havent fixed the problem. I wont suggest wind to anyone. They have the worst service and the sales men dont know to how to do their job properly and are not helpful at all.

SCAM PROVIDER
This is the worst cell provider in the world. CRTC should ban Freedom Mobile.
One issue they cannot resolve in 4 months and I wasted a lot of time calling 611 and I have another issue wherein everytime i call the Alberta toll free number I got interupted with their voice message something like "top up". I tried to call Atco gas number it's the same damn thing.
I was supposed to get my money back of $38 and they promised 4 months ago that they will mail the cheque and everytime i call to make a follow up they keep saying I will get my refund cheque in 3 to 4 weeks (this was 4 months ago).
THIS IS PURELY SCAM.

Wind Sucks! Europe Data plan doesn't work as it promised
On May 16, I signed up a Wind mobile plan in Rome Italy and paid for €35 for 8 GB for monthly service (I signed up in the morning for €33, in the afternoon, when i was back to the store and needed help to insert my SIM card because it looks different than what i have - it's bigger have, they told me i don't have a balance. I told the customer service rep that i just signed up in the morning and paid 33€, and i haven't even used it yet and now you told me I don't have a balance? The Rep told me that the regular fee is €35, and the promotion was gone, i have to pay 2€ in order to have it worked, i don't know what that means but i did pay for 2€ and it worked only during when i was in Italy for 3 days). However it didn't work as the way it promised. On May 20, in the morning, when i entered Switzerland, I lost data connection and as a result I was not able to use data at all. I did ask so many times if i do need to do anything before i enter another counties in Europe when I signed up. I was told "No, you don't do anything but just enjoy the service". However it only lasted for 3 days when i was in Italy. I was able to have someone helped me to talk to the customer service and again they told me i don't have balance. That's ridiculous!!! According to my plan, i only used a little data, my plan is 8gb, and i have nearly whole 8gb left, how come they kept telling me i don't have balance? My Europe trip is not end until June 27. That was really horrible experience that i had with Wind in Italy and i wanted to complain. Wind is highly NOT recommended!!
