Ak management £79 taken

I was looking for a loan when ak management contacted me I was told that I didn't have to pay the fee until I was approved and payed the loan I wanted I didn't get the loan at all I even contacted them but had no reply the on Friday last week I went to my bank and found that £79 had gone from my bank account so you can see Iam not happy as they have lied to me and took money that was needed for payments I want my money back and if I have to ill take ak management to court x

£79 has been taken from my account for a loan i havent even had. Is there a number i can ring to speak to someone about getting this money paid back into my account?

A.K Management

I have been charged same amount today 23 Feb 2013, It was my child benefit money,send them email. They said you have to choose the lenders from email already sent by them. How can they charge without my consent. I did not allow them. I am not working and on Job Seekers Allowance this is huge amount for me. Any one can stop them doing this for other people.

small claims

Good evening everyone. I always check out companies that ask for so called, brokers fees, and in doing so would like you all to know that this is probably a company scam, but you can get your money back by taking the company to a small claims court. (If the amount is over £50). It will probably cost you money to start with but you can claim it back off them though the courts or go to your local CAB for advise. In the past I have been scammed by these type of people but have been successful in claiming my money back. Hope this helps you all.

£79 taken again

I have had the same unfortunate experience guys but have made so head way with getting a refund and below is the email conversation i had with them yesterday starting with my original email at the bottom. Hopefully some of you are in the cooling of period and can use this to get you money back too.

Thank you for your recent written confirmation of your cancellation. I am sorry to hear that you no longer wish to be a customer of AK Management (UK) Ltd and can confirm that we have authorised a refund for you in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

For data protection purposes, as well as for your own security, we do not like our customers to email any sensitive information, such as card details. Please can you call 01442 449009 and provide your original card payment details to us over the phone. The Accounts department will then be in contact once this information has been received, to confirm when the refund will be crediting your account.

Please note:

With reference to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and in accordance with our Terms & Conditions; as your appointed loan finding service provider, we are entitled to retain £5.00 of your initial Consultation fee for administration. You are entitled to the remaining Consultation fee as a refund and this will be processed within 30 days from the date of your initial Cancelation.
If at any time you would like us to re-assess your circumstances and see if there are any new loan products out there for you, please let us know by emailing [email protected] The lending market changes all the time and we will always aim to match you to the very best lenders for your circumstances.
Alternatively, if at any time you would like us to re-assess your circumstances and look at alternative financial products suitable for your circumstances, please let us know by calling 01442 449009. You would never be charged again for our services.

I can confirm I wish to cancel the application for the third time now and want you to process my refund minus the £5 administration fee. You now have to refund me the remanding £74 by the 3rd April 2013 (30 days).



If you have not refunded me the £74 by the above stated date as per your terms and conditions, I will take this further and have already completed the paperwork to take your company to the small claims court to get my money back.



I will also contact trading standards and the financial ombudsman service. I am very sorry about this but your company is quick to take the money even when a loan has not been found, but seem to take a while to return it when it is clearly your error.

You are entitled to the remaining service fee as a refund and as you have cancelled within 14 days this will be processed within 30 days of your initial cancellation for you.
Alternatively, our Consultation Service lasts for a minimum 6 months and therefore, as your appointed loan finding service provider, Money Essentials will continue to identify lenders suitable for your circumstances until you are happy with a lender we have matched you to and have received payout of a loan.

I do wish to cancel any application I have with you today (4th March 2013), the distress i have had today on not being able to pay for a car repair when the money should have been in my account until you took the £79 from it. This has meant the car is still at the garage and I have had to find another way home and borrow the money to pay for it tomorrow.



I accept the refund less your £5 admin fee as per your terms and conditions.



Please can you inform me of when and how I will receive my refund as I need the money to pay back the person I borrowed from to get my car repaired.

The information Customers provide during their application is carefully analysed; If there were no products on the lending panel that would suit a customer’s circumstances, the Customer would never get to the stage of the application where they were asked to schedule a payment.


What Happens Next?
If you decide you do wish to continue with our services and wish for us to send you more suitable lenders, please let us know and we will send you as many Loan options in the UK as available to you. Alternatively, please feel free to call us on 01442 449 009 to discuss your options in more detail. Remember, because of our service so far, there are lenders on our panel waiting to pay out a Loan to you and we are eager to help you make this happen.


If you decide this isn't good enough, then I am very sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service and you are of course entitled to cancel your Loan application. I am sitting in a car garage at the moment with no means of paying my bill due to the fact your comapny has taken £79 out of my bank account.

I want to cancel any agreement we have.



I spoke to a member of your staff on 22nd of February enquiring about a loan. There were no funds in my bank until today and you have taken the £79. I have not been able to get the loan due to bad credit and not being able to get a suitable guarantor.



I have been reading your terms and conditions under section 1d i have the right to cancel within 14 days



1d. Under the Financial Services (Distant Marketing) Regulations 2004, You have the right to cancel the Agreement within 14 days of receiving these terms and conditions. You can write to,tell us verbally or email us. In this event We will refund your fee within 30 days of the date on which We receive your request to cancel your application. Any written requests should be made to: Compliance Manager, A K Management (UK) Ltd, 1st Floor, St James House, Northbridge Road, Berkhamsted HP4 1EF. "Days" here include Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.



I understand that from section 7a i will only be refunded £74 which i want asap sue to you keeping a £5 admin fee



7a. You have the right to cancel this agreement under section 1d. You may also end this agreement at any time and for any reason thereafter, by giving Us written notice by post or email which You may serve at any time whether or not You believe We may have been in breach of our obligations under this Agreement. In the event of cancellation under this section 7a, we will discontinue any further referrals or future consultations on Your behalf. We will refund You any Fees already paid to Us that are cleared funds, where We have been in breach of our obligations under this Agreement. We reserve the right to retain £5 of the One-Off Fee total for administration purposes.



So i wish to end this agreement due to the fact of not being able to get the required loan (as in section 7a any reason).



I have not entered into a credit agreement with anyone due to above reasons and state your term and conditions 7b



7b. If You have applied and cancelled through A K Management (UK) Ltd, trading as Money Essentials for a loan finding service through one of our subsidiary companies, we will comply at all times with the Credit Consumer Act 1974. You will be refunded (if requested), regardless if We have fulfilled Our obligations under this Agreement, if you have not entered into a Credit Agreement with one of the service providers We introduce You to within 6 months of the commencement of the Agreement.



I am wish to end the agreement today and state section 9.

9. The effect of ending the Agreement 9a. When this Agreement ends, our duties and obligations under this Agreement will come to an end. Your One-Off Fee will be returned in full, only if we failed to perform our obligations under the Agreement due to no fault of Your own. If we did fulfil Our obligations under the Agreement, Your One-Off Fee will be returned to You in full (less £5 for administration) by Us, unless section 7b applies. You will not have to pay Us any more money. 9b. Any agreements You have in place with Our referred service providers will still stand 9c. If You cancel or end this Agreement with Us, it is Your responsibility to cancel the scheduled One-Off Fee to service Your Consultation with Your bank. 9d. If your financial circumstances change during the Term of this Agreement We may refer You to our Insurance Providers, Utility Firms, Pension Providers, Debt Advisors, Insolvency Practitioners or any other Financial Service Providers to identify a solution which better meets your needs at that time.



I expect the £79 fee to be returned to my bank less £5 admin fee within 30 days as stated in section 1d.



I have spoken to (perri in loan customer services) who has informed me to email you as you dont take calls.

Having not heard of you, and certainally not had a loan from you £79.00 has been taken from my account having tried to contact and had no luck this is now in the hands of the bank and fraud department.

£79 taken out of my bank account today

nobody even rang me at all god knows where they got my account details from I never gave them out they took £79 out of my bank account today 8th July 2013 this has made me ill I am disabled on benefits rang them she really did not want to know I wanted her to fax my bank no way would she do that with my bank details this company they are lieing robbing thieves and now Ihave very little left to live on the bastards I know have to wait until this £79 clears in my bank and then ring the bank back this is horrendous and I feel sick dont suppose they will ever refund a disabled lady on benefits aged 60 bloody awful I never wanted a loan in the first place and I never got no offers of a loan horrendous AK Management

refund of 79,00 taken from my account when i never took out the loan

I applied for a loan and was told I would have to pay 79,00 charge which would not come out of my account until I had the loan money. I didn't have the loan in the end and received no payment but they still took the charges from my account and as I am disabled and unemployed I cannot afford to loose the money I am now further in debt because of this company

Report this company to Trading Standards I have. I also emailed them quoting this law The Financial Services Distance Marketing Regulations 2004 this is the law that says you have 14 days cooling off period from the date you receive any paperwork not the date of he phone conversation as they tried to tell me.

87 pound has been took out of my account and left me wwith nothing no body told me money was going to be took of me I'm really annoyed as I'm left with nothing I intend to get them done for fraud !!

This company are nothing but scammers I had a call from this company saying they could get me a loan as was having trouble getting due to poor credit, I didn't agree to anything and only gave them my bank details as they told me it was to do a credit check then I had to wait for an email and reply and I could get a loan but no mention of charging me £79 and now my bank is saying it's my fault as giving out details is accepting their terms and conditions but are doing a investigation and now I have to close my account which is a pain but not only I keep having money taken out for other loan company's and I have never heard of them and Deffo didn't agree to them taking money out of my account so so far I have £140 taken what a bloody joke something needs to be done about these sort of companies might even write to watchdog x
