LOUD MUSIC
I am joining the MANY folks who are complaining about the LOUD music that is playing throughout most of your Hallmark movies. It is so irritating and it is not the norm for showing movies to have this loud and annoying music playing throughout the show. It certainly takes away from it, makes it harder to hear the audio and is just plain unnecessary. Why do you feel that this has to be done???? I can see that you have had many complaints about this subject, so do our complaints just fall on deaf ears or will you consider removing this music from the filming?? I have personally started to watch a movie that really drew my attention and looked like it would be good, only to be so irritated and annoyed at the music, and have turned it off. That is not going to help your ratings at all. I have asked others their view on this subject and it is amazing how many people agree with me and dislike this music being played throughout the movie. PLEASE, will you listen to your fans (at least fans for now) and consider stopping this music? It would be greatly appreciated and you would have a movie fan back again. Thank you , Sally

Extremely loud background music
Last year we were told that the new shows would not have loud background music. So when will this happen? I can't hear the words spoken in the story because the music is louder than a rock concert. Why can't we have shows without background music?

Commercials
The commercials are so loud they just about blow you out of your seat. I thought there was a law put in place about loud commercials.

Christmas shows
Dear Hallmark. I was so disappointed that we I missed Murder She Wrote, Golden Girls and Perry Mason from Novenmber to the end of December. I hated those stupid XMAS SHOWS. Was it really necessary to show them 24/7. I stopped watching your channel for the entire time. Now you have Hart to Hart on which is OK however the old programing was much better with Murder She Wrote and Perry Mason. Anyway PLEASE ......NO MORE MONTH LONG XMAS SHOWS.

I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW TIRED I AM OF THE HOLIDAYS BEFORE THEY EVEN ARRIVE, THANKS TO YOUR OVER-SATURATION OF MADE FOR T.V. MOVIES FOR WEEKS AND MONTHS BEFORE. Background noise
Wants with the background noise. For some outdoor scenes it like they are near an airport. Also sounds like the microphone is in a large pipe.

EXTREMELY LOUD & IRRITATING MOVIE BACKGROUND MUSIC
I would really enjoy watching your station so much more If I could hear what is being said while watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies! The music takes over the entire show and in order to hear the dialogue the volume has to be turned up so much that it can be heard all the way outside! I'm sure someone out of all those highly educated people, hired/working at the station, knows how's to remedy this problem. From the previous reviews I've read, this problem should have been taken care of long ago. I'd hate to think someone is just to lazy to do their job!!! Please turn the loud music way down, ASAP! Also, I'd hate to think this complaint will more than likely fall on deaf ears, so depending on your actions, I hope I can thank you in advance for your attention to this most irritating problem or will this be just another "thanks for nothing"!!! Please, please, please remove those totally stupid "romantic" shows that are taking the place of the award winning shows: Golden Girls, Frasier, Cheers and Lucy. Just what is the age group you are targeting? 5-8 year olds? Get a grip people! In my viewing area I was able to see my favorite shows (listed above) from midnight to past 5a.m. Perfect time for an adult.
Get rid of this brain dead stuff - it's a disgrace to anyone that enjoys tv!

They are the same! WITCHRAFT IS MEANT TO CONTROL PEOPLE AND OVERRIDE THEIR PERSONAL WILL AND DECISIONS. There is no difference between "good" and "bad" witchcraft. They are equally an abomination to God.

Lack of Diversity
When there is so much diversity in this country and in this world, I don't understand why the hallmark channel movies all revolve around white characters??? It's really, really boring!!! I'm tired of seeing different iterations of the same old stories using the same small group of actors cast in the staring roles over and over again. African Americans have love stories! Latinos have love stories! Asian Americans have love stories! Cultures throughout the world have love stories! Halmark thinks they are addressing the issue of diversity by giving small roles to actors cast as, for example, a Black coworker or a Latino restaurant owner. That's not good enough! There are so many wonderful stories you could tell that would not be the same, old, tired, retreads of the same old stories. To an film company that is supposed to represent Americana, you are missing so much of America is.

The music is too loud and interrupts the story. It upsets your stomach and gives you a headache. You can't hardly understand the lyrics either, as if we cared.

Loud music
Evidently all the complaints about the loud (music?) noise that drowns out the voices goes unanswered, ignored, forgotten, or whatever...you name it...because it seems to be getting worse on all your HD programming. You have convinced us, just 2 of us, but loyal viewers since the channel began...we are 84+ yeas old...but we will not be for much longer if something isn't done to correct this music/dialogue situation. Background music is supposed to be in the background...evidently someone in charge does not understand that! Sorry, but whoever is responsible has ruined it for a multitude of people...those who have already expressed their displeasure, and those who do not have internet access to complain through . Not watching and no further purchase of advertiser's products, of which we use. We will be writing to those companies about this situation. Is anyone there reading the complaints???

Loud, irritating music
I was trying to watch a Hallmark movie and had to stop. The music in the background is SO irritating. I couldn't hear some of the words because the music was louder than the voices!!! The movies are good and fun to watch, so why the music? SO irritating. Please, please take it OFF so I can enjoy the movies. I've deleted 3 of them because of this.

Movies and Mysteries
I pay extra with Dish for this channel. I agree that the ads are way too loud. My main complaint is that the Ameope commercial is shone every few minutes and in the ad it makes a clicking noise that sounds like a cell phone and thats annoying too. If you don't stop showing these ads so often I will cancel my subscription to your channel.

Love the Christmas movies and regular movies...
I LOVE the Christmas movies and I look forward to them every November and I am sad to see them go in January. Also, I love the regular Hallmark movies and would love to have them on during the week - not just on weekends.

I object to relatively new advertising for the IUD Skyla. IUDs can prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.
Therefore, Skyla is not a contraceptive. It is an abortifacient.
I hope you will reconsider and drop this advertising from the Hallmark Channel which is supposed to be "Family Friendly."

I love the Hallmark Channel for the movies and content. But I have to say I was SHOCKED that no one in advertising would better research their audience to see who is pro-life. More and more the younger generation IS! The birth control Skyla currently being advertised on Hallmark is actually a form of abortifacatient. As shown on the commercial, the item, once inserted,does not allow a fertilized egg to implant on the uterus. Thus it aborts the "BABY"!
I'm so disappointed in Hallmark! Please remove the commercials before young, unknowing girls either abort their young, or tear their uterus' 😢...!

Please see if this can be changed...Your commercials are so loud, I have to keep the remote in my hand at night..Murder she wrote, & Hart to Hart are the worst..when I watch late at night.... I'm in a Condo, I do not want to disturb the neighbors, & I'm tired of having to hold a remote!! Why can't the commercials be the same as the movie, why does a commercial have to blast as 2:00 a.m., Hart to Hart is even louder...so many complaints of loudness, & you can't seem to adjust it for us...That is wrong, you will lose your audience!

Though most of your movies/series are ok there are two things i'd like comment on. First, where is the rest of America on your stations? you have appoximately 98% white on your stations why? The second thing I'd like comment on in on your mystery channel. Why on earht did you move Hart to Hart to the wee hours of the morning. I loved it on 1pm. you should have them take turns ex: 1pm diagnosis murder 2pm murder she wrote 3pm hart to hart 4pm columbo etc. or maybe mon 1pm-5pm hart to hart tues 1pm-5pm columbo weds 1-5 diagnosis murder stop having so much back to back it makes people not wantto watch it as much. it's fine on the week end but through the week there needs to be some mixtures. and really try to get more nationalities besides white people. even interacial couples will help. Thank you for reading my letter. .

we were promised "june wedings" HERE IT IS JUNE 6TH AND I'VE YET TO SEE ANY NEW MOVIES, I AM ESPECIALLY SICK AND TIRED OF THE HALLMARK WEDDING PREPARATION ON HOME AND FAMILY EVERY WEEK DAY MORNING, YOU CAN COUNT ON ONE VIEWER NOT WATCHING THE WEDDING, ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND BY THE WAY, I NOTICED THAT "WHEN CALLS THE HEART" IS ONLY 45 MINUTES THIS WEEK. THAT MEANS WITH THE RECAPPING, AND COMMERCIALS WE GET TO ONLY WATCH 20 MINUTES OF NEW MATERIAL.AND THAT IS A GENEROUS ESTIMATE. FOR FAITHFUL VIEWERS, IS IT NECESSARY TO RECAP.? IF YOU DON'T THINK WE FIGURED THAT OUT YOU DON'T THINK MUCH OF YOUR VIEWERS.!!!!!!!!

Movies and Mystries
I like watching your programs. They are "clean" shows and moral, except the ladies dresses are to low cut.
In the TV Guide it shows the original channel listing-- mostly the "Waltons" which I like the show but I think you should show the Movie & Mysteries in the TV listings. A lot of people aren't familiar with that channel.
You also show the same movies over and over. Why don't you show some of the older ones, they are also great, like Safe Harbor.
