2017 Christmas Season
For years I have loved Hallmark Movies -especially the Christmas movies. But I have to vent my displeasure with what seems to be the new super recipe being followed this season. The movies this year are boring, predictable, unrealistic, and no longer are anything that anyone can relate to and embrace. Your actors are saddled with scripts that vary only by location. And your very elegant and beautiful actors are so perfect with their manes of gorgeous hair and super thin and trim bodies, runway wardrobes and huge white smiles are off-putting. What happened to the wonderful character actors? What happened to the actors that, were able to act- that were something the audience could relate to? I have not shed one tear this year watching and I have watched them all this season so far. I find myself only enjoying the older ones even though I have watched them over and over. So good bye Hallmark Christmas. I am turning off my TV and there are still eight days before Christmas.

people of color do fall in Love, no?
I know u don't have to have people of color as lead actors to succeed with your movies, but having them says something about your humanity. My wife watches all the time and I know she would love to see someone that looks like her falling in love. Do better, and reflect the world we're living in; it's almost as if you're saying, no color allowed except menially. Yes, u have enough White viewers to keep ur ratings up and don't need color people's viewership, so u stay stuck up, and not care to feature color as leads. I do understand, I lived here long enough in the land of pretenders and 'actors.'

Home for Christmas Day
I just want to say Thank you for all the wonderful Christmas movies that played on the Hallmark and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channels. I think I watched most of them at least twice. I think you should have a Christmas movie on every weekend,
I know it will be a show I can enjoy. I am however disappointed in you choosing the show Psych, I think the show has no sense to it at all. Perhaps there are people who will watch it but I certainly will not. I probably never watched any station but the 2 Hallmark stations more than an hour or 2 a week while the Christmas shows were on. I only wish that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries would continue the Christmas shows this week also. Thank you so much for such Wonderful entertainment.
Sincerely
Celie Schultz

Full House Marathon???
It's New Year's day and all that's been on is the Rose Parade and now a Full House Marathon for the foreseeable future??? This is an add-on, pay-for channel...We need a combination of movies and shows.

Mystery movies
I miss the murder mystery with Brooke Shields. Also I haven't seen advertisement for Murder she Baked for the upcoming season.
Please do not tell me you discontinued that program too. Love Teagarden and Gourmet Detective mysteries.

Hallmark can do better!!!
Please, you have got to be kidding...Full House and The Middle during prime time at night after all the wonderful movies that have been shown during November and December, even during the week. Why doesn't your channel show at least one good Hallmark movie at night Monday through Thursday all year long? So, so disappointing. You would then control TV viewing at night every day of the week. Friday through Sunday is wonderful. Full House and The Middle during the week do not stack up to the good movies I know Hallmark can offer.

Hate your new lineup
I would like to see the Hallmark movies back on. I am so upset that you replaced them with Full House and Psych. I never changed the channel from Hallmark until you came up with the new lineup. I work all day and go to bed early. By the time the movies come back on it is time for me to go to bed. So therefore, I do not watch the Hallmark Channels anymore during the week which makes me sad. Please put my movies back on!

Frustrated with Programming
Let me start by saying I love the Hallmark Channels. I love the family values, the fact that I don't have to listen to vulgar language and that I don't have to turn to another channel while my kids are in the room. Once I changed cable packages to lower my monthly bill only to call back the next day and have it switched back because it did not include the Hallmark Channel. Then we changed cable companies all together, and I was so happy to have both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. That being said, I am so frustrated with the program schedules and the way you play the same movies over and over and over. This year alone you have played A Country Wedding at least five times, and as much as I love that one, there are so many great movies that are not being aired. I was especially frustrated the last two Christmases with how you would play a movie in the evening and then again the next afternoon, and some older movies multiple times throughout the season. I understand playing the newest movies multiple times, but why do you have to play A Boyfriend for Christmas (2004) so many times and not even air much newer movies such as Silver Bells, The Gift of the Magi, Christmas in Conway, or November Christmas (I could name more) all season long? I assume you are trying to compete with subscription services such as Hulu and Netflix with the new Hallmark Now service, but I already pay an outrageous amount of money for cable each month and do not subscribe to movie services. What's the fun in that anyway; I like knowing that a movie is coming on and that there are people around the country watching it at the same time as me. I do love Christmas movies airing early though, but I did find myself switching to other channels just because you played so many of the same movies over and over and over (and not even the ones I wanted to see). I understand you can't please every person that watches Hallmark, but whoever is making these scheduling decisions really should reconsider what a detriment their poor choices are in not airing a bigger variety of movies all year long.

Once Upon A Prince
I am a huge Hallmark movie fan, watch them all, love them! So it really bothers me to say I could not finish “Once Upon a Prince.” You would have to go pretty far to find two main characters who had less chemistry. It was almost painful to watch. In fact, it was so painful, I quit watching. Who is casting now? To be this far off usually someone new is doing the casting. Anyway, I won’t give up on Hallmark. I have too many years invested in you to give up now.

Beach House
I guess I have had my head in the sand and didn't realize that Hallmark had gone Politically Correct. It looks like in 2015 you started having ads with gay/lesbians in them. Even gay men raising a baby!
I watch Hallmark movies all the time and guess I usually skip past the commercials since I usually tape them but as I was watching the movie "Beach House" I watched the commercials and about fell off my chair.
I could not believe a "family based" company had gays in a sweet commercial....BAM! there it was smack dab in the commercial.
I guess you will be working on bringing "gay" movies to us in the future so you can really be PC.
I am so disappointed to see a company that was founded by the Hall brothers who were religious men come to such a low point. I am sure they are turning over in their graves.
There are other companies that hold fast to their convictions and not "give in" to the gay movement but I guess your moral compass is broken. So very very sad!
As kids watch your commercials they now see that gay is okay...flaunt it, make it normal.
Maybe you needed more money from the gay community to keep you going. The gays are certainly proud of you showing them as normal as I researched your ads.
SHAME ON YOU!

Channel’s Refusal to Reflect America’s Diversity in their Programming
Although I enjoy watching old TV shows like Columbo, Matlock and Murder She Wrote, this channel’s continued refusal to address their lack of diversity and place any minorities in a leading role, in any of their holiday and/or mystery movies, is troubling and insulting!
The CEO claims to take Diversity and Inclusion seriously but his actions clearly demostraste that he does not.
I understand that ratings are what’s important, so I will stop watching this channel until I see major changes!

Diagnosis Murder
I stopped watching your tv channels, you took my show away Diagnosis Murder I've had back surgery and being in pain it gave me something to look forward watch to distract my pain I found it on metv so I watch that channel now. who wants to pay for paid tv channel mot me, your losing loyal customers I might cancel your channels all together who wants to watch Murder she wrote which takes the whole day up, Monk is stupid, Psych is even worse, there all stupid and Murder she wrote who wants to watch that old hag I'm glad there are other channels I can watch. You're losing all your loyal customers good luck with that they won't be back either and this is from a real psychic. You took my Diagnosis Murder you couldnt keep that one on and honor Barry Van Dyke who died last year of Kidney failure.Your channel sucks now won't be watching it anymore Matlock is on Metv, get so I'm mot missing anything and so is Hart to Hart, bring back Diagnosis Murder and get rid of Murder she wrote and I'll consider start watching your channel again and I used to watch home til you got rid of Christina Fererra I enjoyed her. Good luck when you lose all your faithful customer that are leaving or canceling even if I still have it I'm still not going to watch it.

Ridiculous Christmas Overload
To the exclusion of all other programming - except for one - to present nothing for 24 hours but CHRISTMAS MOVIES - is ridiculous!
It boggles my mind to think that the only regular program left on, is that 4 HOUR 'mindless collection of nothing' on HOME & FAMILY!?
I watch the Golden Girls every morning at 8:00 and wonder why they would start showing Christmas Movies at 8 AM?
I think all of this is really a 'cop-out' for easy programming. Really - all they have to do is pop in videos and it sure makes for an easy 'work day'. This goes on for 2 months before Christmas and now we have to put up with the same thing in JULY!!!
Maybe most of the staff goes on a 2 month vacation... I wonder if their CEO is any older than 19 ??
I will not be watching the Hallmark Channel.

Angry Golden Girls fan
I’m not happy and have never made a complaint towards a tv channel but I felt I had to because I’m completely outraged by this Christmas in July mess!! It’s ridiculous and u replace Golden girls that usually airs at 10 pm -11 and then Frazier and putting on all these Christmas shows in the summer!!! I wanna just ask the person who thought of this idea ..Are u nuts ???Christmas comes only once a year and it takes the fun out of Christmas when you try to bring it around any othe time than in December.. it’s just stupid to watch all these Christmas shows when it’s not even Christmas!!! And the fact you replaced my fav shows I always watch late at night outrages me!

Where are my people
I am an avid Hallmark channel viewer but it is getting a little tiring watching nothing but pretty white people(with a token other nationality sprinkled in sometimes)on every movie. I am willing to bet you that Blacks, Latinos and Asians celebrate Christmas, have lost loves, are single fathers and mothers, etc. Where are the bi-racial couples? Hallmark Channel is the WHITEST channel and it is somewhat disheartening.

Hallmark Channel
Love your movies and oldie series like Murder She Wrote, Monk, Hart to Hart, Matlock, Father Dowling Mysteries, Diagnosis Murder etc. Could you add some more of these old series? Some that come to mind are Castle, Magnum P.I., Walker Texas Ranger, Charlies Angels, Six Million Dollar Man, McGyver, bring back Perry Mason Movies, and old mystery movies with Andy Griffith (he did several). These would add some new material and fit with your program philosophy. Could you also access some old theater movies that fit your program model? I am an avid fan of all your channels and love your focus on Christmas movies. Please occasionally bring back your older Christmas movies and mix them in with the newer movies rather than so much repeating of a few. Your channel is unique in that it really honors the Christmas season with appropriate family holiday movies. Who wants to watch Cheers and I Love Lucy at Christmas time!! What a relief to have your channels with NO reality shows and silly game shows. Your provide real and sensible entertainment for the entire family. You may want to flip or rotate the late night and morning/mid-day programming every other season so your viewers who work during the day have options for viewing alternate shows that are not available when they are home. Thank you for the excellent programming and mystery series of which you continue to add new episodes each year.
A real fan and loyal follower....

More Meaningful Christmas Movies
I am a HUGE lover of Hallmark Christmas movies, just ask my children! (They secretly are fans, too) When they come home for Christmas it's one of the things they look forward to. That being said, I was a little disappointed with the stories in last years Christmas movies. I know this comment is coming too late for this years line-up, but hopefully it will be considered in the future. I enjoy all the love stories, but Christmas movies should have more than just a love story. There are so many good Christmas inspirational stories that would make excellent movies. Last Christmas season I had an operation so was laid up for a little bit and watched many movies. I happened upon one on your channel that was from quite a few years back and starred Patricia Heaton as a reporter. I don't remember the title. This movie was a love story, but there was so much more to the story than love. Please bring more of those Christmas stories back!!!!!
