Hi All,
Be careful if IBSN asks you for a deductible to support your Audit. Its another branch of their fraud unit that will lure you into paying $200 deductible but will dump you after payment is made. Don't pay, save your money, it may help you settle your taxes with IRS.

hey laxmi, u r a bigest fraud. shut up ur mouth. i wuld say no one should go with IBSN, they simply take more money and file ur tax hich are not allowed as per law. thein when custmer get IRS notice they simply ignore.

These IBSN guys are total fraud. They took my money last year and NEVER FILED TAX, DONT FILE WITH THEM.

I have similar problem. I have filed my 2010 through IBSN and got Audit from IRS. They have charged me $200 to support me for the Audit process. They told me that they have faxed my documents to IRS. I got a letter from IRS to pay $3300, which includes Penalty and Interest. I was told by IRS SPOC that they haven't received any documents from any one. I sent so many mails and calls. No response. Infact, I gave the fax number to send the docs. It is very frusating. I will wait one more week, else, I will meet a lawyer to file a law suit/cheating case on IBSN. Also, planning to give a complaint to IRS and BBB

I got a IRS AUDIT ..There is no action from your guys...Tomorrow is last Date to Respond to IRS AUDIT..
I am really feeling very bad about this...
I am an IBSN regular customer..I am filing my tax return from the past 3 years...

I have filled my tax prepration in IBSN last year. After tax prepration fee payment they asked me to send the documents for filling. Documents returned to me stating the company which was operating in chennai Shreeram infotech, tamabram is closed. Was surprised. then i felt yeah, there is something wrong with this company. i called to US, India and any number displayed in the IBSN website and to my luck there was not even a single response for almost an year. So i decided to register for this year tax filling and i got a mail & call back immediately (With on couple of hours). i said my problem they redirected me to send a mail to some id (i thought am going to end up in same situation), i sent couple of mails and no response till now. I sent couple of mails to Laxmi who is repsonding here that her compnay is best in clase, even she has not responded. I sent mails to all the escalation e-mail address in IBSN however i didn't even get even a single response. I work for wipro and i have mailed all my friends in US and those who returned from US to stop using IBSN as they are only keen in collecting the taxation fee and not ready to provide any service.
Who ever reading this, pls. stay away from IBSN. you can get any other tax provider who can really help you.

i also got audit for 2 years, IBSN is responding to calls and emails. On top of paying tax preparation fees, i also paid for unlimited representation. They are not even responding to emails. Not sure what to do. Today was my last day to respond.
i am so frustrated. Any advise as to what to do next will help
For all people wanting to file tax returns with IBSN
STAY away from IBSN. Not a trust worthy firm
None of them are in US. u can't even file complaints against the firm for fraudulent tax preparation

I am in the same situation. IBSN won't respond. Infact today was my last day for audit. They didn't do anything.. i have to call the IRS office tomorrow and pay the fees.
IBSN plan was to cheat all of us clearly.
look at the math here
100000 clients for IBSN as claimed by laxmi... $400 tax preparation fee... which means they make $400, 000, 000. They have no reason to worry because they are based out of india. i spoke to ibsn staff who says laxmi and ramesh all present in india. So they are not traceable also.
I am filing a complaint with IRS on this particular tax preparer

Hi All,
I am also in the same boat. Got IRS query and no response from IBSN. I feel let down by IBSN.
They are not responding to any emails or calls. I have been filing my taxes with IBSN for last 6 years.
I had even recommended ISBN to my friends who also got audit this year and are now in a fix. I really feel bad for recommending IBSN to them and feel sorry for them.
NEVER GO WITH IBSN, they just want money for filing and don't bother about customers.
This is a word from a customer for 6 year. This is how you are treated and left in middle of a turmoil all alone.

DONT FILE with IBSN... REAL cheats...
Ask your friends and colleague not to file with them
They don't repay the penalty and interest even if its their fault, coz they will ask for documents only when audit comes and not when you file return.
So an individual will also not know what document is required to claim the expenses when the return is filed until the audit comes.
Once audit comes, IBSN will treat you very very badly, all of them are placed offshore and no one bothers to take a individual care to address your concerns. They will ask you to provide documents which are not available. they won't tell you this while filing (bear in mind).
They will ask you to pay more money again for representation when audit comes even if you had paid for unlimited representation.

Exactly ... because of the fraudulent activity of IBSN.. Most of IBSN clients are getting audited. These guys are a big time fraudulent company. They keep asking more money for representation

IBSN is big time cheater. School graduates in Hyderabad are filling returns with no knowledge of taxation.
Do not care to explain implication of deductions they recommend you to take. Do not check or ask if taxpayer is eligible or not. Just to have % of refund, they file fraudulent returns.
First question IRS officer asked me for 2010 return prepared by IBSN, if they told fee before filling return or based on refund ?
IBSN customers going to be in trouble because IRS have got to know quality of IBSN and i think that;s why i was picked for Audit.

Total Fraud company, don't ever make any attempt to file your tax with IBSN...for god sake, go to other tax consultants and not IBSN..stay away from IBSN...if you have any word to erase from your mind...just erase IBSN...

They most definitely are a cheating company. I got an audit for my 2008 filing for which i paid extra money for Audit support. I contact IBSN and they keep promising to resolve the issue but no appeal draft was sent to me. IRS sent me a final notice and still they haven't provided me with the appeal. It has been 2 months. Do NOT trust them and file taxes with them. You WILL be audited and will lose more money than you ever imagined.

IBSN folks are crooks, cheats, liars and thieves. For me they showed a very high return in their tax summary document in 2010 on some vague ground and when I paid the fee I saw there is a drastic difference in the tax document. When I tried calling and pinging them as to why there is difference, they were completely irresponsive. After waiting for 1.5 months finally I have decided to file my return through Turbo Tax and when I was finally able to reach their finance person (Tony), I was asking my fees back and he says he will have somebody from finance team get back to me shortly, nobody contacted me, then once I called up and spoke with a representative, he mentioned he will put a note in my file such that the fee can be adjusted on the tax year 2011. Same thing has been repeated in 2011, after they sent the summary with an elevated amount as return I asked them to adjust last year’s fee with this year and send me the tax document. Called up lot of times, spoke with lot of folks, sent emails to their finance person, and sent emails to Laxmi Palaypu. Nobody responded. I know my money (>$300) has been gone to drain. Request to all of you, NEVER EVER FILE RETURN THROUGH IBSN, THEY WILL SIMPLY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND RUN AWAY.

I been with IBSN for last 7 years and paid more than $2500 dollars and giving hard time for last 2 years. Finally I endup with lots of queries from IRS and they all are simple MATH errors and NO RESPONSE FROM IBSN..ALL OF THEM ARE NON EXPERIENCED STAFF AND PLAYING WITH US TAX PLAYERS>>>

IBSN doesn't care for its clients.. They are only after money... They will ask you to pay more money every time u go them ...staffs of IBSN are very careless and very inexperienced.
Many of my friends who filed using IBSN service has got IRS query including me and IBSN is just hiding from all of them including me
DONT FILE WITH IBSN for your own good
And if IBSN is viewing these message don't try to provide justification... There cannot be 79 pages of complaints without you being like that

I am also having the same problem with IBSN and they have made no attempt to contact me or uphold the tax representation I paid for in the event of an IRS examination which is currently the issue. I am also planning to take legal action, so if you are interested in being involved in a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against IBSN you can email me at [email protected]. I am starting a petition for anyone who has been wronged by this company and is having to pay thousands because of their errors. If this sounds like what is happening to you then sign the petition and lets start legal action. I have tried to call and email them several times and no answer, they are frauds.
