Lucid American Fund investors
Does anyone know if the Lucid American Fund has clamied bankrupcy yet? I'm trying to get in touch with the investors to pull together and issue a claim to force bankrupcy so we can at least use the loss as a tax deduction. Let me know if your interested.

I also trying to look for Lucid American Fund bankruptcy claim, but all I found is the Fort McMurry one's, and not the Lucid American one. I went on to this site: https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/bsf-osb.nsf/eng/home and paid $8 to the search.

Also,I am also trying to use it as a loss of tax dedcution. I talked to CRA, and as long as you can proof you lost the investment money due to fraud, my guess is article or court order document, you should able to use the money you lost as a deductible for other capital gains, and not your regular income tax. Kind of sucks that for me I don't have any other capital gains, I can't get any tax refund unless I invest again.
Just email me, see if we can figure out something from the loss. Most of the posts on this forum are focus on the Fort McMurry investment, I think they are facing slightly different situation.

Lucid American Fund FRAUD
Good luck ever finding anything about this other than through the criminal courts. This was an out and out fraud, no properties purchased with funds either going to support coffee shops, chuck wagons /stampede parties, YaYa Calgary, and such or cash directly into the pockets of Adam Drybrough and Blaine Kennedy. Drybrough also spent a lot of money buying and hiring "friends" since this delusional, self engrandizing pathetic worm can only pay people to associate with him. They are all long gone now, none will be visiting Adam in jail.

I see today the courts are starting to hand out prison time for ponzi operators.
Michael Choddrowski is doing 6 years in jail for a little 2.5 mil fraud.
He has to pay back 1.6 mil.
I wonder what will be handed down for the 30 to 50 million Kennedy and Drybourgh
stole?
Shame that it takes so long to prove the obvious theft of millions of dollars.
If you read the Ft. Mac. bankruptcy you can see that they were not smart enough to
even try to cover the theft of 4 million. Kennedy wanted it so he took it.
I wonder what rock these two are hiding under?
You cannot leave the country which crimminal charges.
I'm thinking a van down by the river would be nice in the spring.
The homeless would most likely be upset to have these two parasites for
neighbours however.

Has their been any progress with bringing these two motherfuckers to being held accountable for where all the money went?
I guess being a lying thieving unscrupulous low level scum piece of shit does pay after all. Put an ad in the paper, take peoples money, squander it how you see fit, hide a good portion of it from the authorities and lie, avoid contact, hide from your investors. dont pay anybody, suppliers, staff, taxes. sounds like a scheme that would happen in some third world country. I find it amazing that lucid can still advertise that they are a viable business. Lucid rentals only manages these suites. Years ago at one of their investor presentations I was told they owned 100 properties in alberta that they rented them out and generated huge income for the company. Another flat out false statement from these con artists. All they did was manage a few properties for other people and collect a fee.

We doubt this was ever a real business, just a legitimate looking front. All phone numbers are out of order so this business is as dead as the rest of Lucid. Drybough and Kennedy now are spending most of their time trying to stay out of jail and keeping stolen cash hidden. They are due to plea in criminal court April 23. Court dates have continually been put off since November so who knows if they will manage to drag this out further. We are confident that these guys will not get off lightly and will eventually find themselves in jail. The ASC wants to make an example of them, go to jail and find hidden cash. Hey AGD and BRK, was it all worth it to be big shots for a few years? We hope you suffer for the rest of your pathetic lives. Karma is a bitch and you will get yours.
