They are still Crooks
No matter how you look at it they are criminals who have taken millions of dollars from hard working people with no intention of following through with any these projects they instead funneled the money out of these projects to pay for their other business ventures and lavish lifestyles. Is a drug dealer who has never been caught still a criminal?

Troy I agree with your comment 100%. These guys were supposed to have had the investors best interests in mind when they took our money. They had snazzy presentations, colorful brochures and bullshitted us about what they were going to do with our monies given to them. How every single investment has failed has got to be proof that they conspired all along to scam investors out of millions. Raise the maximum amount from investors, don't pay in full for anything and pocket the money when it all falls apart. Every day that goes by without the ASC, police or regulators not intervening on behalf of investors is an affront to hard working honest canadians who were looking for a little better returns than what the banks, mutual funds, stocks were offering, who all have a terrible track record for investors. Proves once again that the system doesn't care shit about the average guy. The deck is stacked in favor of the big banks (record profits) , big corps (bail outs, tax breaks) and bureaucrats and politicians
with their faces so far in the trough they are incapable of helping us.
These ass clowns had a fiduciary duty to look after our investments. What did they do? When they finally allowed everything to collapse, they disappeared, hid like slithering snakes and we're impossible to get a hold of. When contacted they were arrogant, belligerent and complete assholes. Both are pieces of shit.

All you have to do is read Andrew Basi's last affidavit. This document clearly describes blatent theft, embezzlement and fraud. These crimes are so obvious that all that are missing are the criminal charges which I hope are coming soon. Keep on your MLA's and the ASC. I know of a few MLAs that have responed to investors along with Doug Horner, minister of finance and Jonathan Denis soliciter general. Awareness of Lucid's antics over the past four years is building at the highest levels of the Alberta Government. Keep up the pressure!

The Alberta Securities Commission left a loophole big enough to drive a semi full of money through.
The company used to move RRSP money through by Olympia Trust (Eyelogic) has over a hundred
shell companies moving cash through it. Not just Lucid.
If you look through the net you find other scam artists doing the same thing as Lucid. I.E. Harvest or Shire.
Investors were setup by the media advertising, Olympia trust, ASC.
Everybody took their cut. No one wanted to notice that this was a scam setup by a life long con artist.
In Quebec the securities commission was found negligent in protection of investors. I think The ASC
should be held to task on the disaster they created in the exempt market.
Many other frauds were developed at the same time. This is a much bigger issue then a con artist and
his 24 year old spoiled brat front man.

“Are we going to pay another man’s bill?”
That’s what Ken Garrett of United Enterprises Inc. wondered when he addressed Meadow Lake City Council Feb. 13 with regard to tax arrears and additional late charges associated with the former Meadow Lake Capri hotel.
United Enterprises, a North Battleford-based company, acquired the property located at 107 1st St. East in December and is working to repair and restore the neglected building in an effort to re-establish a hotel in Meadow Lake’s downtown.
“Pius Pfeifer built the Capri Hotel in 1971 and held the mortgage for several years before selling it to a consortium in Calgary,” Garrett said. “This group started to do something with it, but their plans soon fell apart. No payments were ever made to Pius or to (the City of) Meadow Lake and a lot of contractors were left holding the bag.”
As time passed, the vacant building fell into further disrepair. When United Enterprises took over Dec. 20, Garrett said work began in an effort to halt the damage.
“The entire electrical system has to be dismantled – the damage is astronomical.”
Last year’s assessed valued of the building was $377,700 while the land is valued at $26,200 for a total of $403,900. This translates into a $15,114.21 tax bill in 2011. This is far from the total amount owed to the city, however, as unpaid taxes (and related penalties) date back to 2009.
“I’m a little mad at you guys (council) because throughout ‘09, ‘10 and ‘11, you should have clamped down on these guys (previous owners),” Garrett remarked.
According to a report United Enterprises solicited from Mattila Appraisals Ltd. of North Battleford, the market value of the property in its current state is only $250,000.
“We have a market value and I realize there is a difference between a market value and an assessed value, and we’re past that part,” Garrett continued. “We’re in there, we’re repairing things. We’re going to make this hotel a very nice place. We’re dealing now with Travelodge, which would be a great addition to downtown Meadow Lake. This entire deal was bad for all of us, but what really bothers me is the whole idea of penalties and such added to the tax bill. Those penalties had no bearing on us. We had no knowledge of it and no control over it – it is not fair to us.”
Offering a solution to the matter, Garrett said his group would accept the 2009-2011 levees, which total in excess of $44,000, and “in a showing of good faith to Meadow Lake” offered an additional $15,000 toward the 2012 tax bill.
“And, to show we mean business, I have brought a cheque with me we can fill out tonight,” he said. “We think if the city would have put the clamps on (the previous owners), maybe something could have happened sooner. I feel they got away with it for too long. They did not make one payment on the mortgage.”
Councillor Jeff Fechter asked why an official request of some sort was not made earlier considering the number of issues associated with the property.
“It wasn’t even ours to deal with until recently,” Garrett said.
“Yes, but I don’t know if the people of Meadow Lake would approve of us helping out someone who made a bad business decision,” Fechter added.
Although Garrett was hoping to see the matter settled during the Feb. 13 council meeting, Councillor Toby Esterby explained there was simply too much information to consider, adding it would not be fair to make an uninformed decision.
“There is a wealth of information here and if I am asked to make a decision on this tonight, I would say no,” Esterby said. “I’m not discounting it, I just need more time.”
Councillor Richard Reed moved to defer the matter until the Feb. 27 council meeting. The motion was seconded by Councillor Curtis Paylor and subsequently carried.

We are senior citizens who have had our life savings stolen by Adam and Blaine. Litigation is a long and costly process. Blaine and Adam have provided a banquet for lawyers. Because the ASC and courts are not taking seriously enough the huge numbers of complaints regarding scams, ripoffs, theft, fraud and dishonesty, hard working, honest citizens lives are being ruined. There should be a class action suit against the Government of Alberta for allowing these types of scams to exist. In the meantime, Blaine and Adam continue to present a spoiled brat, sulky, immature, entitled demeanour--that somehow none of the problems are of their making and having to appear in court is such an inconvenience. I guess it is--after all, their time could be spent going after more money elsewhere. The reality is that we and others will never see the bulk of our money again and Adam and Blaine going, hopefully, to jail, is only a part of the solution but one that would give some satisfaction. However, there is such a thing as Cosmic Justice--what goes around, comes around and rest assured, Blaine and Adam will be attracting their share of the Cosmic Justice. I sincerely hope we are alive to see it.

Note to Adam and Blaine;
Nothing but good news coming from the Fort McMurray area, if you can read. But, not being business men, you have passed up a prime opportunity to gain from what is going to happen up there by screwing your investors. Had you had the brain power to actually do a legitimate business plan, you would have been able to build a legacy and actually contribute to society. Instead, being the sleazy, lying, bottom feeding, dirtbag scum of the earth that you are, you have build a legacy all right--one that will follow you forever. Imagine actually being a legitimate business person--one who keeps their word, pays their employees, honors agreements and pays off their investors to reap honest rewards. However, you are both so far from being actual businessmen, the business model is far too great a challenge for you. Obviously, the only way you can make a buck in this world is by lying, stealing and cheating. Anybody can do that. Not everyone can run a succesful business, certainly not you two. And, one other aspect of being a legitimate buisiness person-you would not have to spend thousands of your ill-gotten dollars on litigation and tie up valuable resources, like time, for the coming years. Too bad you did not have the brain power to look ahead and see the potential--too busy stealing what was not yours. Is it too late to turn things around? Of course not. However, that would require integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and good character and these are very foreign characteristics to you. Your shallowness, lack of good morals and lack of conscience will forever prevent you from being worthy human beings. How does it feel to be held in such contempt by hundreads of people?

Lovermate you are right on with your comments. These two pieces of shit don't have the capacity to do the right thing. These sociopaths feel no remorse and will continue to screw as many people as possible until the Police, RCMP, regulators shut them down for good. I believe they are held in contempt by thousands of people not hundreds. They have affected whole families,wiped people's saving out and don't give a shit what they have done. Adam Drybrough the spoiled immature brat he is will have his day of reckoning. Blaine Kennedy is another piece of work, a conniving, lying, immoral fraudster. These two belong in jail. Authorities need to make an example of them, show others that you can't screw people over with impunity and have no consequences. One day we'll wake up and see their names in the newspaper being charged with fraud, misrepresentation, and theft and it will feel so good to watch their pompous asses being carted off to jail. Drybrough better have shares in a vaseoline company, he'll need it. Pretty boy will learn the concept of being screwed over.

Nobody was ever an investor in Lucid projects. The day they took our money they knew they would never pay it back. That was Adam Drybrough's and Blaine Kennedy's plan. Unfortunately for them they were so obvious about it serious criminal charges will come their way eventually.

While I appreciate some of your prior comments (I especially liked your description of Drybough's attempt at

Drybrough's political connections are being highly overstated here. He pretends to be some sort of political player on twitter and was running around putting up lawn signs for Jono Denis last election. He spends his days on twitter pretending to be in with the PC party and city aldermen. They have no idea who he really is. We have informed a couple aldermen he regularly chatted with on twitter who he really is. They no longer want anything to do with him. No politician will want to be associated with a POS like Drybrough once they find out he is a fraud.

They have also not paid 100's of thousands of dollars to contractors and employees they have ripped off.
When confronted with this they use their stolen money to threaten lawsuits so people will not take action. Literally 90-100% of people that have dealt with them have been ripped off in one form or another. Please do not support their establishments and DO NOT WORK FOR THEM or INVEST WITH THEM. You will loose your money or time.
Here is one piece of the rapidly expanding proof. Read this affidavit from Andrew Basi, the person handling the bankrupcies of 4 of Adam and Blaines "companies". In it he explains how they have stolen money. He does not directly come out and say that, but that is not his role. Andrew Basi has no skin in the game, he is not "after" anyone, and he is the only one that has had access to the true proof. Much of which is included as appendix's.

Ramsay Property Sale
The courts are reviewing a proposed sale of the Ramsay property September 19 for $2.4M. At this price Ramsay investors will be lucky to get back 5 cents on the dollar. Drybrough sent out an e-mail to some Ramsay investors encouraging them to dispute this low sale price the night before court proceedings expessing he is concerned about capital recovery for bondholders. This is a first, they have displayed absolutely no concern for investors on any of their projects. I suspect this a ploy by Drybrough in anticipation of ASC hearings, personal lawsuits and criminal charges coming his way.

Adam Drybrough and Blaine Kennedy, couple of jerk offs
I received a call today from the RCMP commercial crime unit. They want to talk with me about another investment that my wife and I lost money in a few years ago called Bridgecreek. I 'll be making sure that I talk to them also about the shenanigans of Lucid and how Drybrough and Kennedy are the same as the crooks who ran Bridgecreek. Where did all the money go????
