Adam Drybrough & Blaine Kennedy, you're in the bottom of the 9th and losing
They already had a bar on 17th called Kaynes that was open for a few months before closing. They completely renovated it, didn't pay the contractor, and then shut it down. How can Adam defend himself when everything said on this Site is true. He's a POS liar and probably can't remember all the lies he told to everyone so he can't defend himself because he can't differentiate between the truth and his own little fantasy world. You notice how Blaines name is mentioned less and less on this Site, he is a master at sliding his way out of things. Both these jerks are equally responsible for the carnage they have created and both should be held accountable. Blaine is just as sick, twisted, deviant, lyinging, conniving POS as Adam. Even if they do get their new bar open, it will fail like everything they touch.
What still amazes me is the Herald will not cover this story, there is nothing on the ASC site about them and the Police, both RCMP and CPS have not done anything. Kathy Richardier in Oct 2009 wrote an article for the Herald about the Flatiron, why not write an article now about it and what happened to the restaurant. Would that not be an interesting op-ed piece??? Anthony Davis of Alberta Venture wrote a piece in October 2011 about the merger of chocolatier Bernard callebaut and Lucid and how their supposed business relationship was falling apart. Adam was quoted as saying they had covenants in place and Bernard was not advancing any more funds so Drybrough severed the relationship. Sound familiar, except the shoe was on the other foot now and because drybrough couldn't squeeze any money from them the relationship was over. The Alberta Venture article states that the "Lux Group, an independent subsidiary of the Lucid Group of companies - a multi faceted conglomerate operating in the real estate development, executive suites and hospitality industry in Alberta and saskatchewan"......Did this guy not check his facts about this "conglomerate" they had stopped paying distributions to all investors by then, their saskatchewan meadow lake hotel was another scam and fraud and was sitting as an eyesore owing contractors and city taxes, all their business ventures were collapsing,,,pretty poor journalism from a main stream publication. Back on sept 1, 2009 Alberta Venture had a investor beware article that mentioned Adam drybrough had been sanctioned by the ASC and fined 25k for advertising guaranteed returns. Why not follow up on that story. Aug 23rd 2008 calgary herald wrote a glowing article about the 23 year old "wunderkid". Maybe they should also be liable for this fraud. How many investors read this article with its glowing accolades and bs from drybrough and figured they were a legitimate organization so they invested.

Blaine played Adam
Blaine whilst a shitty human and even shittier business man, knows how to play people. He played investors and appealed to their need to make money and he played to Adam's vanity and made him the face of Lucid. Adam talks a big talk, but he's basically an idiot who jumped at the chance to get his face in the news. Listen to Adam talk now and he still thinks he's a big time business man.

Social Media- Drybrough Kennedy
(I am a Lucid Barlow investor/looser). It sickens me to know that the Alberta Government & the ASC allows social-maniacs like Adam and Blain do this to Albertan's!
I tried to follow Adam on Twitter but I got he message I have been banned at his request... I have never posted just followed him. This has motivated me to actually do some posting! Ideas welcomed! Is the Twitter hashtag #adamdryb the one to use to let his followers know kind of "great" guy he is?

Public apology to Adam Drybrough,Blain Kennedy & the Lucid Group
I tried to delete some posts that I made regarding Adam,Blain & Lucid Group.I contacted the ReviewsTalk email but they have not answered my message.Some of my posts have had poorly chosen words that I regret.(an example would be that I called them criminals in one and they have not been charged so I apologize for that.).
I know that this is an opinion based website and is about people's personal experiences dealing with a business but I just want to say sorry if some of my comments were taken the wrong way.
I do feel funny apologizing to people that have'nt paid me for a job that was done three months ago but realize I should of thought more about what I was posting.I think a lot of that is just the frustration of being ignored.(no returned calls ect.)
I wont be posting anymore unless a check arrives then I will make sure that everyone knows all about it.(at this point I have no expectations we will be paid.)
You people are doing a really good job of getting information out there.All the documents and links that are being posted are great,that's the kind of stuff that will really help someone make up their own mind about Lucid.

Contractors Please Contact
I unfortunately chose to do work for these guys despite the things i read on this page. I am now in a position where i am looking for get paid. instead of spending all my time on a website gossiping like a group of old ladies at the old age home, i am going to go with less talk and more action.
I have engaged a lawyer and want to put together a class action law suit for any of the contractors that are owed money. Please contact me privately on reviews talk [click on my name then click send message] or email me [email protected]. I appreciate the efforts of the people on this site but posting messages from annonymous user names isnt going to get me or anyone else a result. below is my real name, and above is the same email address i emailed Blain and Adam on. Talk to you boys soon - It's time to take real action and i hope to hear from those that would like to jump on bored with me.

DO NOT CONTACT "GREGB". It's pretty obvious to me that Greg is really Adam or Blaine (most likely Adam) trying to get you to show who you are so he can threaten to sue you or have their lawyer send you a letter. Cowards.
gbbcontrols does not exist as far as I can tell and I don't see why a shittly little coffee shop would need a controls company anyway. Remember that the Lucid Empire consists of 1000 Lies, and a coffee shop.
So DO NOT CONTACT GREG from above. Not that they can do anything to you anyway but why waste your time dealing with empty threats.
Also, this is clearly what is going on with "don't trust adam". Your public apology is not accepted. I would bet that "don't trust adam" got a call from either adam or a letter from one of the law firms that will retire off these scumbags threatening to sue for defamation or some bullsh*t. Don't worry about it, they are not going to sue you. They are criminals, and the last thing they want to do is go to court and have a judge make a decision on that fact.
Your public apology would make no difference anyway if they did. But seriously, don't stress, they are empty threats. If I were blaine and adam and for some reason had not killed myself yet, I would be more worried about the hammer coming down than my reputation. Their reputations are f*cked, and it's only going to get worse.

Well stolemymoney whole lot of talk from a guy that has been on this blog for two days That doesn’t seem suspicious at all. If what you are saying is true then why do you hide behind a username? Sort of weird that your username was created the very next day after I started to private message people on this blog about the lawsuit I am trying to start. Maybe u and lucidscam are Blain making sure that no one contacts me? Don’t you worry I will start the lawsuit by myself. Why would a shitty little coffee shop need a controls company? Since you refused I assumed you were not who you are pretending to be. Let's not waste our time arguing with one another. Greg, if you are legit, then great, I support anyone that is trying to bring these pricks down. But why are you so mad that people are posting this information online? You think that most of us are not already talking to lawyers and calling the ASC every day? Seems like that is something that would only anger Adam Drybrough or Blaine Kennedy.
The reason we post online isn't so we can get what is ours back. It is to stop other innocent people loosing their life saving to these two psychopaths, and to stop the investor money rolling in so Adam Drybrough and Blaine Kennedy so they can't use it to threaten people with lawsuits like they have done to all of us.
LucidScam is right also, putting your first name and an initial isn't exaclty laying it all out there, only making it more suspicious. I still think you are Adam/Blaine. To every contractor that reads these posts; send your info to Greg if you want but just know it could be Adam or Blaine and they will most likely threaten you to stop posting on here.
This is my last message to you Greg, lucidscam I suggest your last message be yours as well, let's not divert attention from Adam and Blaine by bickering with one another.
Greg if you are who you say you are and have no issue with revealing your identity.... Then do it. At that point all contractors should contact you. I am an investor not a contractor or I might just give you a call.

A must read
This post will be added to the top of each page whenever I can to inform new people of what has transpired. Adam Drybrough and Blaine Kennedy have stolen/wasted 10's of Millions of dollars from investors over the past 4 years. This has recently come to light.
They have also not paid 100's of thousands of dollars to contractors and employees they have ripped off.
When confronted with this they use their stolen money to threaten lawsuits so people will not take action. Literally 90-100% of people that have dealt with them have been ripped off in one form or another. Please do not support their establishments and DO NOT WORK FOR THEM or INVEST WITH THEM. You will loose your money or time.
Here is one piece of the rapidly expanding proof. Read this affidavit from Andrew Basi, the person handling the bankrupcies of 4 of Adam and Blaines "companies". In it he explains how they have stolen money. He does not directly come out and say that, but that is not his role. Andrew Basi has no skin in the game, he is not "after" anyone, and he is the only one that has had access to the true proof. Much of which is included as appendix's.

He does it daily on Twitter. Someone should get in touch with his mother Allyson Gilchrist to tell her what kind of son she has. She is fortunate she does not have the Drybrough name which Adam has ruined in Calgary.

Lucid is not so Lucid anymore
Lucid's corporate website www.lucidgoc.com no longer has anything on it. Just an outdated picture of Calgary and an address that will lead you to nowhere.
http://www.luxuryrestaurantgroup.com still lists Flatiron and Kaynes as brands but there's clearly a major issue when your company no longer has any store locations.
http://www.kaynes.com/index.php/site/contact/ says "We are CLOSED due to an emergency plumbing service upgrade. Sorry for the inconvenience!" No it's not, it's closed because Adam and Blaine took all of the investors money to Vegas, gambled and drank it away and now can't pay to run it just like the rest of their entities.

Blaine`s office is @ 4519 Macloed Trail, however the correct address is hidden by the address 1005. The address to the business directly below him is 4515 Macloed Trail. Some criminals just don`t think, clearly he was not very good at hide and seek and still trying to play that game. I doubt the Belle Starr Saloon will open at all.

For me what really matters is to make sure Blaine Kennedy and Adam Drybourgh go to jail.
Here is something to speed it along.
All investors in whatever scam they were talked into should file another complaint to the Alberta Securities Commission.
When you do this send along the pdf file of the Andrew Basi affidavit for the Ft Mac RV Park, (see above)
Ask the ASC if this is how all ASC sanctioned investments are handled ?
A couple hundred people all sending the same information and asking the same question may get the ASC,s attention.
The RV park fraud/theft/embezzlement is public knowledge and is by far the best documented proof of criminal activity.

Belle Starr Saloon
Builder's Liens are now up to almost $53,000 on the Belle Starr Saloon property at 1126 17th Ave SW. They better not attempt to open.
The owner on title is Marcel De Paris Ltd. which appears to relate to the original builder of the property who is Marcel Segal a local jeweller. Belle Starr could be leasing the building. It was however mentioned that Adam and Blaine owned the property, but that could be a lie or perhaps they have some sort of arrangement with Marcel.

I think we should mobalize and if and when the Belle Starr opens we should picket the place during their opening week. Make sure we get the media there. I still am amazed that they have a valid building permit for the Belle Start considering the unpaid taxes on their other failures in Calgary, Fort McMurray, Meadow Lake etc. It really is amazing that they still are operating with impunity after all the people they have screwed over. What do they have to do for the regulators and authorities to shut them down permanently.

Blaine Kennedy Organized Crime
I have been told by someone with the CPS that Blaine Kennedy is a known associate of the Hell's Angels. The CPS is heavily investigating both Kennedy and Drybrough. Maybe this organized crime connection explains where all the money went. I think the delay in the ASC coming out with something is they are trying to cover their own ass. The whole Lucid business was based on the fraud that they operated a lucrative executive suite rental business which did not exist. Clearly the ASC was negligent in their due diligence in allowing Kennedy and Drybrough into the exempt market. At some point though the hammer will come down hard on these two fraudsters. I am looking forward to the day when they both are behind bars.
