Dumbarton Square
Do Lucid aka Adam Drybrough and Blaine Kennedy "own" Dumbarton Square? Dumbarton Square Holdings Inc. was incorporated Dec 2010. Is this just one of the many many companies these guys set up? Hopefully no investors were sucked into this scam. Even if no new investors on this property, cash came from investors in other scam developments.

L2 Constructors Inc. is just another in the web of companies set up by Blaine Kennedy and Adam Drybrough. Like almost all of these companies L2 has been struck from the Alberta corporate registry for failure to file annual reports. We suspect they are operating with no WCB coverage. We have filed a complaint with WCB. I encourage others especially screwed contractors to do the same to shut these ass clowns down.

Lucid Incompetence
The real estate development scams were premeditated to fail as they did. The other stuff financed by these scams failed do to shear incompetence. There is a lot less motivation to make a business work if you stole the money to fund it. A big selling point for Lucid was the executive suite rental business. They claimed to have over 100 furnished condos available for short term rentals. I don't believe this business ever existed and was just another fraud to make this scam company look legit.

My company has also done business with these con artists and I will see it till the end that I am reimbursed, I am sorry for all of your investments as I cannot get them back. These two clowns should not behind bars for the money they have stolen from everyone. Blaine and Adam do not deserve any respect or mercy. No body should do business with them or support any of their establishments. I am very sorry for those who have been scammed by these individuals.

Blaine Kennedy even has an accountant. Who know if she is part of the scam aswell. [email protected] I have sent emails requesting a time cheques will be ready and, as everyone has encountered.......no response.
The families and individuals and businesses this company has destroyed is unacceptable and we should not let it happen anymore. Lets put these guys out of business and behind bars.

I do not know the address, but it is across from the dream center on macloed trail in the upper north corner above "Wayne`s Bagels"of the strip mall. This is where Blaine hides acting like the big show of the company....but we all know he is an idiot.

It is now very clear that these two are not very bright. They do not even have the
ability to run a legitimate coffee shop. They have to steal from people who do have skills
and money they have EARNED over years.
It is now a matter of public record that they stole/embezzled 3.9 million dollars from the
RV park in Fort Mac. That is available for all to see in Baine's examination by Grant Thorton's
Andrew Basi.
The question is when does the axe fall?

To get a response
The only way to get a response from Adam Drybrough or Blaine Russell Kennedy is to let them think your a new investor, If they think your ready to give them money you can bet that email gets answered quickly. As for putting them out of business, Blaine has been doing this for too many years without any repercussions, the Police are only worried about distracted drivers and sexual harassment among their ranks, which doesn't leave them much time for things like Fraud, Theft, Falsifying Financial documents, and I'm sure many other laws that these two have committed. Blaine and Adam will just move on to their next scam like nothing ever happened.

Looks like another scam that took in at least $1M of investor cash according to ASC records. Typical Lucid M/O, registered corporate office lawyers office Borden Ladner Gervais. Maybe this involved Dumbarton Square? If lawyers had any shame the would not have drafted Lucid's scam deal documents but of course lawyers have no shame. They cash in on both ends of the fraud.

It's crazy that they are not in prison,When Troy posted the information about Blaines ex partner that's in jail I thought it would be for a similar scam but surprisingly I think it was for stalking.(But he did steal a lot of money from her,google Louise Gallgher.)
It will have to catch up to them someday,They keep ripping people off so it will either be the police or an angry investor,supplier or contractor that eventually takes care of them.
We need to keep putting pressure on the media,police,ect.If anyone has any names of Adam's political friends please post them so we can let them know it might not be wise to befriend someone with this kind of reputation.

Right before stealing my money, that POS Drybrough bragged about being "best friends" with the Alberta Solicitor General. The ASG is Jonathan Denis from Quebec.
I dont believe a single word out of that psychopaths face but I think we should all let him know that Drybrough is name dropping him to seem more legitimate.

Adam Drybrough is a lying POS
Adam told me that his family ran a very successful food distribution company that distributed Pizza throughout Western Canada, his family was worth millions and his business acumen (joke) was learned from his father by spending his time working along side his dad when he was younger. Adam bragged how the Burger Bar in Anzac was doing a million dollars of business every year, how Gregoire Estates had a contract with one of the big oil companies to supply executive suites and they were close to breaking ground in Anzac on building 24 suites to house executives who would pay $7000 per month for accommodations, this venture alone would bring in over $1.5 million a year in revenue for investors.
He told me that the Lucid Executive suites were the core of his business and how they had over 100 suites in Western Canada and they had 80% of the units rented out and it was a huge cash cow for the Lucid Group and allowed them to continue to expand. He said they were buying container loads of furniture from China to furnish the suites so every one of them had the "Lucid look". He told me the International president of Total Energy used their suites when he was in Calgary from France doing business. This was the quality of his clients, presidents, ceo's of Calgary's biggest oil and gas companies
He told me he had development permits in place for Lucid Square, the office building behind the Flat Iron restaurant, and it looked like it was going to be a medical facility, some of Calgary's most prominent physicians, who had offices at the Peter Lougheed Hospital were begging him to build his new building because they wanted swankier medical offices. The building was to have glowing lights around the whole building and it would be a building that would get international recognition. Months later when I asked him what the delay was he said the city was reviewing the lights they wanted around the building because the heat frm the lights would melt snow in the winter and could be a safety issue.
The next time I asked about the building he said because the street (barlow) was considerably higher than the parking lot where the building was going to be built they had to get the architects to redesign the building making it one floor less.
He told me they had all the water rights were in place for Fort mcmurray industrial Park, development permits were in place and he spoke with the mayor of fort mcmurray weekly because it was such a huge deal for Fort mcmurray because they were desperate for an industrial Park. He told me that the city was rerouting the traffic to the airport so everyone going to the airport would have to drive by his site.
I asked him about the complaint on the bbb and he said it had nothing to do with the Investment side of his company but with his executive rentals, one client flew in from out of town late one night and the key wasn't available for the suites, the other was a dispute about linens with one of the people they sub leased from. Apparently some people who had rentals in Western Canada approached them to rent out their apartments because Lucid Executive suites was one of the biggest executive rental suite companies in Western Canada and they could get top dollar for them because of their great branding. He told me they received 50% of the rental income on the units they subleased
He made it sound like his companies were awash in cash and they could do all these ventures on their own, but they wanted to build an investor base so they could do many different projects and keep the investors for life, engaged in all the projects they were doing and future projects they would bring to their loyal client base.
These guys should be the poster boys for lying, stealing, cheating, bullying assholes

Lucid no more Lucid
Not that Lucid really ever existed as a legitimate business, but Adam Dryscam has removed the Lucid decals from his truck and their Lucid office project in Dumbarton is just an abandoned construction site. The building is now in receivership. Everything they are involved in is swirling down the drain. Blaine and Adam should be watching their every move, being careful what they say to who, and aware of who is taking note of their whereabouts.
They know that time is running out for them and they're desperate to get Belle Starr open even though it won't matter much when they're in prison. Unfortunately for them they pissed off too many people. I'm amazed they still have a building permit considering the amount of liens they have on the building already. They're not going to be getting their patio permit approved I've been told. They've been lying to the city about the type of establishment they're opening. The Change-of-Use they submitted to get the medium drinking establishment approval called the place a Kayne's Bar & Grill. They were very diligent to make sure 'Coyote Ugly'/'Belle Starr' was never on the permit drawings to the city.
Once Fratello Analog Cafe opens down the block on 17th it will put the final nail in the coffin for Chiasso. They already have enough trouble getting anyone into their sad little coffee shop and the competition just got tougher.

BE CAREFUL DOING BUISINESS WITH Adam Drybrough,Blain Kennedy,Lucid Group
It's great that this information is being released.Hopefully it will help someone that is thinking about doing buisiness with the Lucid group.If someone went to their website they would think that this was a successful business.The site is very well done and it makes them look like a very large company that has all sorts of different divisions.I was surprised that the only two people working there were Adam Drybrough & Blain Kennedy and that the restaurants are bankrupt.
So now people can find out what really goes on with the Lucid Group,It would be perfect if we could get an update on that horrible Calgary Herald article.
It's funny that Adam never tries to defend himself,Come on Adam you dont need to hide let's hear your side of the story.
